¹JUNGOG y inagangjo, O Yuus, gui quejaco: adaje y linâlâjo ni y minaañaoña ni y enemigo.

¹{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Hear, O God, my voice in my plaint; preserve my life from fear of the enemy:

²Naatogyo gui secreto na pinagat y manaelaye; yan y inatborota ni y chumogüe y taelaye.

²Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,

³Ni y janafanmalagtos y jilañija taegüije y espada, yan janafanapunta y flechañija, ni manmalaet na sinangan.

³Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, [and] have aimed their arrow, a bitter word;

⁴Para ujaflecha gui secreto y cabales; ya derepente manflecha güe, ya ti maañao.

⁴That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

⁵Janafanfitmeja sija gui na jinasuye taelaye: manmanafaesen para ujananaplinanta y laso; ya ilegñija: Jaye ufanlinie?

⁵They encourage themselves in an evil matter, they concert to hide snares; they say, Who will see them?

⁶Manmanaliligao ni y tinaelaye; ilegñija na tacumple guse y inaligaota: cada uno guiya sija manacjalom jinasonñija yan corasonñija manadong.

⁶They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward [thought] and heart is deep.

⁷Lao si Yuus flumecha sija, ya enseguidas ninafanlamen nu y flecha.

⁷But God will shoot an arrow at them: suddenly are they wounded;

⁸Ya taegüije ninafanmatompo; y jilañija contra sija; ya todo y lumie sija ujayengyong y ilonñija.

⁸By their own tongue they are made to fall over one another: all that see them shall flee away.

⁹Ya todo y taotao sija ufanmaañao; ya ujasangan y checho Yuus: sa ujaguesjaso y finatinasña.

⁹And all men shall fear, and shall declare God's doing; and they shall wisely consider his work.

¹⁰Y manunas ufanmagof sija gui as Jeova, ya ujaangoco nu güiya; yan todo y manunas na corason, ufanmalag.

¹⁰The righteous shall rejoice in Jehovah, and trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
