1Dosudi mi pravo, Bože, i povedi parbu moju protiv čeljadi bezbožne, izbavi me od čovjeka zlobna i opaka!
1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unrighteous man.
2Jer ti si, Bože, zaklon moj: zašto me odbacuješ? Zašto obilazim žalostan, pritisnut dušmanima?
2For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou cast me off? why go I about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3Pošlji svjetlost svoju i vjernost: nek' me vode, nek' me dovedu na tvoju svetu goru, u šatore tvoje!
3Send out thy light and thy truth: *they* shall lead me, *they* shall bring me to thy holy mount, and unto thy habitations.
4I pristupit ću Božjem žrtveniku, Bogu, radosti svojoj. Harfom ću slaviti tebe, Bože, o Bože moj!
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto the ùGod of the gladness of my joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.
5Što si mi, dušo, klonula i što jecaš u meni? U Boga se uzdaj, jer opet ću ga slaviti, spasenje svoje, Boga svog!
5Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
