¹{A Song; a Psalm. Of the sons of Korah.} Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the hill of his holiness.

²Velik je Jahve, hvale predostojan u gradu Boga našega.

²Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

³Sveto brdo njegovo, brijeg veličanstven, radost je zemlji svoj. Gora Sion, na krajnjem sjeveru, grad je Kralja velikog.

³God is known in her palaces as a high fortress.

⁴Bog u kulama njegovim jakom se pokaza utvrdom.

⁴For behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together;

⁵Jer gle, složiše se kraljevi, navališe zajedno.

⁵They saw, -- so they marvelled; they were troubled, they fled in consternation:

⁶Čim vidješe, zapanjiše se i zbunjeni u bijeg nagnuše.

⁶Trembling took hold upon them there; anguish, as of a woman in travail.

⁷Ondje ih trepet obuze kao muka porodilje,

⁷With an east wind thou hast broken the ships of Tarshish.

⁸kao kad vjetar istočni razbija brodove taršiške.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God doth establish it for ever. Selah.

⁹Što smo čuli, sada vidimo: grad Jahve nad Vojskama, grad Boga našega - Bog ga utvrdi dovijeka.

⁹We have thought, O God, of thy loving-kindness, in the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰Spominjemo se, Bože, tvoje dobrote usred Hrama tvojega.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹Kao ime tvoje, Bože, tako i slava tvoja do nakraj zemlje doseže. Puna je pravde desnica tvoja; neka se raduje brdo sionsko!

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹²Neka kliču gradovi Judini zbog tvojih sudova!

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: count the towers thereof;

¹³Obiđite Sion i prođite njime, prebrojite kule njegove!

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹⁴Pogledajte dobro bedeme njegove, promotrite mu potanko dvorove: da biste kazivali budućem koljenu:

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.

¹⁵"Takav je Bog, Bog naš zasvagda i dovijeka! On neka nas vodi!"
