King James Version

1 Chronicles

16

1 Daethant ag arch Duw a'i gosod yng nghanol y babell a gododd Dafydd iddi, ac aberthu poethoffrymau a heddoffrymau o flaen Duw.
1So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
2 Wedi iddo orffen aberthu'r poethoffrwm a'r heddoffrymau, bendithiodd Dafydd y bobl yn enw'r ARGLWYDD,
2And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
3 a rhannodd i bob un o'r Israeliaid, yn wu375?r a gwragedd, dorth o fara, darn o gig a swp o rawnwin.
3And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 Penododd rai o'r Lefiaid i wasanaethu o flaen arch yr ARGLWYDD, i goffu a moliannu a chlodfori ARGLWYDD Dduw Israel:
4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
5 Asaff yn gyntaf, ac ar ei l ef Sechareia, Jeiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Matitheia, Eliab, Benaia ac Obed-edom. Yr oedd gan Jeiel nablau a thelynau, ac yr oedd Asaff yn canu'r symbalau.
5Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
6 Yr oedd yr offeiriaid Benaia a Jahasiel i chwythu trwmpedau yn barhaus o flaen arch cyfamod Duw.
6Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Y pryd hwnnw y rhoddodd Dafydd am y tro cyntaf i Asaff a'i frodyr y moliant hwn i'r ARGLWYDD:
7Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 Diolchwch i'r ARGLWYDD! Galwch ar ei enw, gwnewch yn hysbys ei weithredoedd ymysg y bobloedd.
8Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Canwch iddo, moliannwch ef, dywedwch am ei holl ryfeddodau.
9Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10 Gorfoleddwch yn ei enw sanctaidd, llawenhaed calon y rhai sy'n ceisio'r ARGLWYDD.
10Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11 Ceisiwch yr ARGLWYDD a'i nerth, ceisiwch ei wyneb bob amser.
11Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
12 Cofiwch y rhyfeddodau a wnaeth, ei wyrthiau a'r barnedigaethau a gyhoeddodd,
12Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
13 chwi ddisgynyddion Israel, ei was, chwi blant Jacob, ei etholedig.
13O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Ef yw'r ARGLWYDD ein Duw, ac y mae ei farnedigaethau dros yr holl ddaear.
14He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 Cofiwch ei gyfamod dros byth, gair ei orchymyn hyd fil o genedlaethau,
15Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 sef y cyfamod a wnaeth ag Abraham, a'i lw i Isaac,
16Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 yr hyn a osododd yn ddeddf i Jacob, ac yn gyfamod tragwyddol i Israel,
17And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 a dweud, "I chwi y rhoddaf wlad Canaan yn gyfran eich etifeddiaeth."
18Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
19 Pan oeddech yn fychan o rif, yn ychydig, ac yn grwydriaid yn y wlad,
19When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
20 yn crwydro o genedl i genedl, ac o un deyrnas at bobl eraill,
20And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
21 ni adawodd i neb eich darostwng, ond ceryddodd frenhinoedd o'ch achos,
21He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 a dweud, "Peidiwch chyffwrdd 'm heneiniog, na gwneud niwed i'm proffwydi."
22Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
23 Canwch i'r ARGLWYDD, yr holl ddaear, cyhoeddwch o ddydd i ddydd ei iachawdwriaeth.
23Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; show forth from day to day his salvation.
24 Dywedwch am ei ogoniant ymysg y bobloedd, ac am ei ryfeddodau ymysg yr holl genhedloedd.
24Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvelous works among all nations.
25 Oherwydd mawr yw'r ARGLWYDD, a theilwng iawn o fawl; y mae i'w ofni'n fwy na'r holl dduwiau.
25For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
26 Eilunod yw holl dduwiau'r bobloedd, ond yr ARGLWYDD a wnaeth y nefoedd.
26For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Y mae anrhydedd a mawredd o'i flaen, nerth a llawenydd yn ei fangre ef.
27Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Rhowch i'r ARGLWYDD, dylwythau'r cenhedloedd, rhowch i'r ARGLWYDD anrhydedd a nerth;
28Give unto the LORD, ye kindred of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
29 rhowch i'r ARGLWYDD anrhydedd ei enw, dygwch offrwm a dewch o'i flaen. Ymgrymwch i'r ARGLWYDD yn ysblander ei sancteiddrwydd.
29Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30 Crynwch o'i flaen, yr holl ddaear; yn awr y mae'r byd yn sicr, ac nis symudir.
30Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 Bydded y nefoedd yn llawen a gorfoledded y ddaear, a dywedent ymhlith y cenhedloedd, "Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn frenin."
31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
32 Rhued y mr a'r cyfan sydd ynddo, llawenyched y maes a phopeth sydd ynddo.
32Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Yna bydd prennau'r goedwig yn canu'n llawen o flaen yr ARGLWYDD, oherwydd y mae'n dod i farnu'r ddaear.
33Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Diolchwch i'r ARGLWYDD, oherwydd da yw, ac y mae ei gariad hyd byth.
34O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
35 Dywedwch, "Achub ni, O Dduw ein hiachawdwriaeth; cynnull ni ac arbed ni o blith y cenhedloedd, inni gael rhoi diolch i'th enw sanctaidd ac ymhyfrydu yn dy fawl."
35And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
36 Bendigedig fyddo'r ARGLWYDD, Duw Israel, o dragwyddoldeb hyd dragwyddoldeb. A dywedodd yr holl bobl, "Amen", a moli'r ARGLWYDD.
36Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
37 A gadawodd Dafydd Asaff a'i frodyr o flaen arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD i wasanaethu yno'n barhaol yn l gofynion pob dydd.
37So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
38 Gadawodd yno hefyd Obed-edom gyda'i wyth brawd a thrigain; Obed-edom fab Jeduthun, a Hosa, oedd i fod yn borthorion.
38And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
39 Ond gadawodd ef Sadoc yr offeiriad, a'i frodyr yr offeiriaid, o flaen tabernacl yr ARGLWYDD yn yr uchelfa yn Gibeon,
39And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 i aberthu poethoffrymau i'r ARGLWYDD ar allor y poethoffrwm yn gyson fore a hwyr fel sy'n ysgrifenedig yng nghyfraith yr ARGLWYDD, a orchmynnodd ef i Israel.
40To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;
41 Gyda hwy yr oedd Heman, Jeduthun a'r rhai eraill oedd wedi eu hethol a'u henwi i foliannu'r ARGLWYDD am fod ei gariad hyd byth.
41And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;
42 Heman a Jeduthun oedd yn gofalu am yr trwmpedau a'r symbalau a'r offerynnau cerdd cysegredig ar gyfer y cantorion. A meibion Jeduthun oedd yn gofalu am y porth.
42And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
43 Yna aeth pawb adref a dychwelodd Dafydd i gyfarch ei deulu.
43And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
