¹ Os byddi'n gwrando'n astud ar lais yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw, ac yn gofalu cadw popeth y mae'n ei orchymyn iti heddiw, yna bydd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw yn dy osod yn uwch na holl genhedloedd y byd.

¹And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

² Daw'r holl fendithion hyn i'th ran ac i'th amgylchu, dim ond iti wrando ar lais yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw.

²And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

³ Byddi'n derbyn bendith yn y dref ac yn y maes.

³Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

⁴ Bydd bendith ar ffrwyth dy gorff, ar gnwd dy dir a'th fuches, ar gynnydd dy wartheg ac epil dy ddefaid.

⁴Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

⁵ Bydd bendith ar dy gawell a'th badell dylino.

⁵Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

⁶ Bydd bendith arnat wrth ddod i mewn ac wrth fynd allan.

⁶Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

⁷ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn peri i'th elynion sy'n codi yn dy erbyn gael eu dryllio o'th flaen; byddant yn dod yn dy erbyn ar hyd un ffordd, ond yn ffoi rhagot ar hyd saith.

⁷The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

⁸ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn gorchymyn bendith ar dy ysguboriau ac ar bopeth a wnei; bydd yn dy fendithio yn y tir y mae'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw yn ei roi iti.

⁸The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

⁹ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy sefydlu'n bobl sanctaidd iddo, fel yr addawodd iti, os cedwi orchmynion yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw a rhodio yn ei ffyrdd.

⁹The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

¹⁰ Fe w�l holl bobloedd y ddaear mai ar enw'r ARGLWYDD y gelwir di; a bydd dy ofn arnynt.

¹⁰And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

¹¹ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy lwyddo'n ardderchog yn ffrwyth dy gorff, cynnydd dy fuches, a chnwd dy dir yn y wlad yr addawodd yr ARGLWYDD i'th hynafiaid ei rhoi iti.

¹¹And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

¹² Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn agor y nefoedd, ystordy ei ddaioni, i roi glaw i'th dir yn ei bryd, ac i fendithio holl waith dy ddwylo; byddi'n rhoi benthyg i lawer o genhedloedd, ond heb angen benthyca dy hun.

¹²The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

¹³ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy wneud yn ben ac nid yn gynffon, yn uchaf bob amser ac nid yn isaf, dim ond iti wrando ar orchmynion yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw, y rhai yr wyf yn eu rhoi iti heddiw i'w cadw a'u gwneud.

¹³And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

¹⁴ Paid � gwyro i'r dde na'r chwith oddi wrth yr un o'r pethau yr wyf fi'n eu gorchymyn iti heddiw, na dilyn duwiau estron i'w haddoli.

¹⁴And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

¹⁵ Ac os na fyddi'n gwrando ar lais yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw, i ofalu cyflawni ei holl orchmynion a'i ddeddfau, y rhai yr wyf yn eu rhoi iti heddiw, yna fe ddaw i'th ran yr holl felltithion hyn, ac fe'th amgylchant:

¹⁵But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

¹⁶ Melltith arnat yn y dref ac yn y maes.

¹⁶Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

¹⁷ Melltith ar dy gawell a'th badell dylino.

¹⁷Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.

¹⁸ Melltith ar ffrwyth dy gorff a chnwd dy dir, ar gynnydd dy wartheg ac epil dy ddefaid.

¹⁸Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

¹⁹Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

²⁰ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn anfon arnat felltithion, dryswch, a cherydd ym mha beth bynnag yr wyt yn ei wneud, nes dy ddinistrio a'th ddifetha'n gyflym oherwydd drygioni dy waith yn ei wrthod.

²⁰The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

²¹ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn peri i haint lynu wrthyt nes dy ddifa oddi ar y tir yr wyt yn mynd iddo i'w feddiannu.

²¹The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

²² Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy daro � darfodedigaeth, twymyn, llid a chryd; � sychder hefyd a deifiant a malltod. Bydd y rhain yn dy ddilyn nes dy ddifodi.

²²The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

²³ Bydd yr wybren uwch dy ben yn bres, a'r ddaear oddi tanat yn haearn.

²³And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

²⁴ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn troi glaw dy dir yn llwch a lludw, a hynny'n disgyn arnat o'r awyr nes dy ddifa.

²⁴The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

²⁵ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy ddryllio o flaen d'elynion; byddi'n mynd allan yn eu herbyn ar hyd un ffordd, ond yn ffoi rhagddynt ar hyd saith, a bydd hyn yn arswyd i holl deyrnasoedd y ddaear.

²⁵The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁶ Bydd dy gelain yn bwydo holl adar yr awyr a bwystfilod y ddaear, heb neb i'w tarfu.

²⁶And thy carcass shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

²⁷ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy daro � chornwyd yr Aifft a chornwydydd gwaedlyd, � chrach ac ysfa na fedri gael iach�d ohonynt.

²⁷The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

²⁸ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy daro � gwallgofrwydd, dallineb a dryswch meddwl;

²⁸The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

²⁹ a byddi'n ymbalfalu ar hanner dydd, fel y bydd y dall yn ymbalfalu mewn tywyllwch, heb lwyddo i gael dy ffordd. Cei dy orthrymu a'th ysbeilio'n feunyddiol heb neb i'th achub.

²⁹And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

³⁰ Er iti ddywedd�o � merch, dyn arall fydd yn ei chymryd; er iti godi tu375?, ni fyddi'n byw ynddo; ac er iti blannu gwinllan, ni chei'r ffrwyth ohoni.

³⁰Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

³¹ Lleddir dy ych yn dy olwg, ond ni fyddi'n cael bwyta dim ohono; caiff dy asyn ei ladrata yn dy u373?ydd, ond nis cei yn �l; rhoddir dy ddefaid i'th elynion, ac ni fydd neb i'w hadfer iti.

³¹Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

³² Rhoddir dy feibion a'th ferched i bobl arall, a thithau'n gweld ac yn dihoeni o'u plegid ar hyd y dydd, yn ddiymadferth.

³²Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.

³³ Bwyteir cynnyrch dy dir a'th holl lafur gan bobl nad wyt yn eu hadnabod, a chei dy orthrymu a'th ysbeilio'n feunyddiol,

³³The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

³⁴ nes bod yr hyn a weli �'th lygaid yn dy yrru'n wallgof.

³⁴So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

³⁵ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy daro � chornwydydd poenus, na ellir eu gwella, ar dy liniau a'th goesau, ac o wadn dy droed hyd dy gorun.

³⁵The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.

³⁶ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy ddanfon di, a'r brenin y byddi'n ei osod arnat, at genedl na fu i ti na'th gyndadau ei hadnabod; ac yno byddi'n gwasanaethu duwiau estron o bren a charreg.

³⁶The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

³⁷ Byddi'n achos syndod, yn ddihareb ac yn gyff gwawd ymysg yr holl bobloedd y bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy ddanfon atynt.

³⁷And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

³⁸ Er iti fynd � digonedd o had i'r maes, ychydig a fedi, am i locustiaid ei ysu.

³⁸Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.

³⁹ Byddi'n plannu gwinllannoedd ac yn eu trin, ond ni chei yfed y gwin na chasglu'r grawnwin, am i bryfetach eu bwyta.

³⁹Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

⁴⁰ Bydd gennyt olewydd trwy dy dir i gyd, ond ni fyddi'n dy iro dy hun �'r olew, oherwydd bydd dy olewydd yn colli eu ffrwyth.

⁴⁰Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

⁴¹ Byddi'n cenhedlu meibion a merched, ond ni chei eu cadw, oherwydd fe'u cludir i gaethiwed.

⁴¹Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.

⁴² Bydd locustiaid yn difa pob coeden fydd gennyt a chynnyrch dy dir.

⁴²All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.

⁴³ Bydd y dieithryn yn eich mysg yn dal i godi'n uwch ac yn uwch, a thithau'n disgyn yn is ac yn is.

⁴³The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

⁴⁴ Ef fydd yn rhoi benthyg i ti, nid ti iddo ef; ef fydd y pen, a thithau'n gynffon.

⁴⁴He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

⁴⁵ Daw'r holl felltithion hyn arnat, a'th ddilyn a'th amgylchu nes iti gael dy ddinistrio, am na wrandewaist ar lais yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw na chadw ei orchmynion a'i ddeddfau fel y gorchmynnodd iti.

⁴⁵Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

⁴⁶ Byddant yn arwydd ac yn argoel i ti ac i'th ddisgynyddion am byth,

⁴⁶And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

⁴⁷ gan na wasanaethaist yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw mewn llawenydd a llonder calon am iddo roi iti ddigonedd o bopeth.

⁴⁷Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

⁴⁸ Eithr mewn newyn a syched, noethni a dirfawr angen, byddi'n gwasanaethu'r gelynion y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn eu hanfon yn dy erbyn. Bydd yn gosod iau haearn ar dy war nes iddo dy ddinistrio.

⁴⁸Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

⁴⁹ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn codi cenedl o bell, o eithaf y ddaear, yn dy erbyn; fel eryr fe ddaw ar dy warthaf genedl na fyddi'n deall ei hiaith,

⁴⁹The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

⁵⁰ cenedl sarrug ei gwedd, heb barch i'r hen na thiriondeb at yr ifanc.

⁵⁰A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:

⁵¹ Bydd yn bwyta cynnyrch dy fuches a'th dir, nes dy ddinistrio; ni fydd yn gadael ar �l iti nac u375?d na gwin nac olew, na chynnydd dy wartheg nac epil dy ddefaid, nes dy ddifodi.

⁵¹And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.

⁵² Bydd yn gwarchae ar bob dinas o'th eiddo trwy dy holl wlad, nes y bydd pob un o'th furiau uchel, yr wyt yn ymddiried ynddynt i'th amddiffyn, yn cwympo; ie, bydd yn gwarchae ar bob dinas o'th eiddo trwy'r holl wlad a roddodd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw iti.

⁵²And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

⁵³ Oherwydd y cyni a achosir iti gan warchae dy elyn, byddi'n bwyta ffrwyth dy gorff dy hun, cnawd dy feibion a'th ferched, a roddodd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw iti.

⁵³And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

⁵⁴ Bydd y dyn mwyaf tyner a theimladwy yn eich plith yn gwarafun rhoi i'w frawd, nac i wraig ei fynwes nac i weddill ei blant sydd ar �l,

⁵⁴So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

⁵⁵ ddim o gig ei blant y mae'n ei fwyta, rhag iddo fod heb ddim yn y cyni a achosir ym mhob dinas gan warchae dy elyn.

⁵⁵So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

⁵⁶ Bydd y ddynes fwyaf tyner a mwyaf teimladwy yn eich plith, un mor deimladwy a thyner fel na fentrodd osod gwadn ei throed ar y ddaear, yn gwarafun rhoi i u373?r ei mynwes, nac i'w mab na'i merch,

⁵⁶The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

⁵⁷ ran o'r brych a ddisgyn o'i chroth, na'r baban a enir iddi; ond bydd hi ei hun yn ei fwyta'n ddirgel, am nad oes dim i'w gael yn y cyni a achosir yn dy holl ddinasoedd gan warchae dy elyn.

⁵⁷And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

⁵⁸ Os na fyddi'n gofalu cyflawni holl ofynion y gyfraith hon, a ysgrifennwyd yn y llyfr hwn, a pharchu'r enw gogoneddus ac arswydus hwn, sef enw yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw,

⁵⁸If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

⁵⁹ yna bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn trymhau ei bl�u anhygoel arnat ti ac ar dy epil, pl�u trymion a chyson, a heintiau difrifol a pharhaus.

⁵⁹Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

⁶⁰ Bydd yn dwyn arnat eto holl glefydau'r Aifft a fu'n peri braw iti, a byddant yn glynu wrthyt.

⁶⁰Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

⁶¹ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn pentyrru arnat hefyd yr holl afiechydon a phl�u nad ydynt wedi eu cynnwys yn llyfr y gyfraith hon, nes dy ddinistrio.

⁶¹Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

⁶² Fe'th adewir di, a fu mor niferus � s�r y nefoedd, yn ychydig o bobl, am iti beidio � gwrando ar lais yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw.

⁶²And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.

⁶³ Fel y bu'r ARGLWYDD yn llawenhau o'th blegid wrth iddo wneud daioni iti a'th amlhau, bydd yn llawenhau o'th blegid yr un modd wrth iddo dy ddifodi a'th ddinistrio. Bydd yn dy ddiwreiddio o'r tir hwn y daethost i'w feddiannu.

⁶³And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

⁶⁴ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy wasgaru ymysg yr holl bobloedd, o un cwr o'r byd i'r llall; ac yno byddi'n gwasanaethu duwiau estron, duwiau o bren a charreg, nad oeddit ti na'th hynafiaid yn eu hadnabod.

⁶⁴And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

⁶⁵ Ni chei lonydd na gorffwysfa i wadn dy droed ymhlith y cenhedloedd hyn; bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn rhoi iti yno galon ofnus, llygaid yn pallu ac ysbryd llesg.

⁶⁵And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

⁶⁶ Bydd dy fywyd fel pe'n hongian o'th flaen, a bydd arnat ofn nos a dydd, heb ddim sicrwydd gennyt am dy einioes.

⁶⁶And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

⁶⁷ O achos yr ofn yn dy galon a'r hyn a w�l dy lygaid, byddi'n dweud yn y bore, "O na fyddai'n hwyr!" ac yn yr hwyr, "O na fyddai'n fore!"

⁶⁷In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

⁶⁸ Bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dy ddychwelyd i'r Aifft mewn tristwch, ar hyd y ffordd y dywedais wrthyt na fyddit yn ei gweld rhagor, ac yno byddwch yn eich cynnig eich hunain ar werth i'ch gelynion fel caethion a chaethesau, heb neb yn prynu.

⁶⁸And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
