¹ Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Edrych, yr wyf yn dy wneud fel Duw i Pharo, a bydd Aaron dy frawd yn broffwyd iti.

¹And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

² Yr wyt i fynegi'r cyfan yr wyf yn ei orchymyn i ti, a bydd Aaron dy frawd yn dweud wrth Pharo am ryddhau'r Israeliaid o'i wlad.

²Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

³ Byddaf finnau'n caledu calon Pharo; ac er imi amlhau fy arwyddion a'm rhyfeddodau yng ngwlad yr Aifft,

³And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

⁴ ni fydd ef yn gwrando arnoch. Yna byddaf yn gosod fy llaw ar yr Aifft ac yn rhyddhau fy mhobl Israel yn lluoedd o wlad yr Aifft, trwy weithredoedd nerthol o farn.

⁴But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

⁵ Bydd yr Eifftiaid yn gwybod mai myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD pan estynnaf fy llaw yn erbyn yr Aifft a rhyddhau'r Israeliaid o'u plith."

⁵And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

⁶ Gwnaeth Moses ac Aaron yn union fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddynt.

⁶And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.

⁷ Pan lefarodd Moses ac Aaron wrth Pharo, yr oedd Moses yn bedwar ugain oed ac Aaron yn dair a phedwar ugain.

⁷And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

⁸ Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses ac Aaron,

⁸And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

⁹ "Os bydd Pharo'n dweud wrthych am wneud rhyfeddod, yr wyt ti, Moses, i ddweud wrth Aaron, 'Cymer dy wialen a'i thaflu ar lawr o flaen Pharo, ac fe dry'n sarff.'"

⁹When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.

¹⁰ Felly, aeth Moses ac Aaron at Pharo a gwneud fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddynt.

¹⁰And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

¹¹ Taflodd Aaron ei wialen o flaen Pharo a'i weision, ac fe drodd yn sarff. Yna anfonodd Pharo am y gwu375?r doeth a'r dewiniaid, ac yr oeddent hwythau, swynwyr yr Aifft, hefyd yn medru gwneud hyn trwy eu gallu cyfrin.

¹¹Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

¹² Taflodd pob un ei wialen, a throdd pob gwialen yn sarff; ond llyncodd gwialen Aaron eu gwiail hwy.

¹²For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

¹³ Er hynny, caledodd calon Pharo ac ni wrandawodd arnynt, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud.

¹³And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

¹⁴ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Y mae calon Pharo wedi caledu, ac y mae'n gwrthod rhyddhau'r bobl.

¹⁴And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

¹⁵ Dos at Pharo yn y bore, wrth iddo fynd tua'r afon; aros amdano ar lan y Neil, a chymer yn dy law y wialen a drodd yn sarff.

¹⁵Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

¹⁶ Dywed wrtho, 'Y mae'r ARGLWYDD, Duw'r Hebreaid, wedi fy anfon atat i ddweud, "Gollwng fy mhobl yn rhydd, er mwyn iddynt fy addoli yn yr anialwch"; ond hyd yn hyn nid wyt wedi ufuddhau iddo.'

¹⁶And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

¹⁷ Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: Dyma sut y cei wybod mai myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD: �'r wialen sydd yn fy llaw byddaf yn taro du373?r y Neil, ac fe dry'n waed.

¹⁷Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

¹⁸ Bydd y pysgod ynddi yn marw, a'r afon yn drewi, a bydd yn ffiaidd i'r Eifftiaid yfed du373?r ohoni."

¹⁸And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river.

¹⁹ Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dywed wrth Aaron, 'Cymer dy wialen ac estyn dy law dros ddyfroedd yr Aifft, dros ei ffrydiau a'i hafonydd, dros ei llynnoedd a'i chronfeydd du373?r, er mwyn iddynt droi'n waed.' Bydd gwaed trwy holl wlad yr Aifft, hyd yn oed yn y cawgiau o bren a charreg."

¹⁹And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

²⁰ Gwnaeth Moses ac Aaron fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddynt. Yng ngu373?ydd Pharo a'i weision, cododd Aaron y wialen a tharo du373?r y Neil, ac fe droes yr holl ddu373?r oedd ynddi yn waed.

²⁰And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

²¹ Bu farw'r pysgod oedd ynddi, ac yr oedd yr afon yn drewi cymaint fel na allai'r Eifftiaid yfed du373?r ohoni; ac yr oedd gwaed trwy holl wlad yr Aifft.

²¹And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

²² Ond yr oedd swynwyr yr Aifft hefyd yn medru gwneud hyn trwy eu gallu cyfrin; felly caledodd calon Pharo, ac ni fynnai wrando ar Moses ac Aaron, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud.

²²And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

²³ Troes Pharo a mynd i mewn i'w du375?, heb ystyried y peth ymhellach.

²³And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

²⁴ Am nad oeddent yn medru yfed y du373?r o'r Neil, bu'r holl Eifftiaid yn cloddio gerllaw'r afon am ddu373?r i'w yfed.

²⁴And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

²⁵ Parhaodd hyn am saith diwrnod wedi i'r ARGLWYDD daro'r Neil.

²⁵And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.
