1And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;
2 rhyfelodd y rhain yn erbyn Bera brenin Sodom, Birsa brenin Gomorra, Sinab brenin Adma, Semeber brenin Seboim, a brenin Bela, sef Soar.
2That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
3 Cyfarfu'r rhain i gyd yn nyffryn Sidim, sef y M�r Heli.
3All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
4 Am ddeuddeng mlynedd y buont yn gwasanaethu Cedorlaomer, nes iddynt wrthryfela yn y drydedd flwyddyn ar ddeg.
4Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
5 Ac yn y bedwaredd flwyddyn ar ddeg daeth Cedorlaomer a'r brenhinoedd oedd gydag ef a tharo'r Reffaimiaid yn Asteroth-carnaim, y Susiaid yn Ham, yr Emiaid yn Safe-ciriathaim,
5And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emins in Shaveh Kiriathaim,
6 yr Horiaid ym mynydd-dir Seir, hyd El-paran ar fin y diffeithwch.
6And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness.
7 Yna troesant a dod i En-mispat, sef Cades, a tharo holl dir yr Amaleciaid, a hefyd yr Amoriaid, a oedd yn trigo yn Hasason-Tamar.
7And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
8 Yna aeth brenin Sodom, brenin Gomorra, brenin Adma, brenin Seboim a brenin Bela, sef Soar, i ryfela yn nyffryn Sidim yn erbyn
8And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
9 Cedorlaomer brenin Elam, Tidal brenin Goim, Amraffel brenin Sinar ac Arioch brenin Elasar, pedwar brenin yn erbyn pump.
9With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.
10 Yr oedd dyffryn Sidim yn llawn o byllau pyg; ac wrth i frenhinoedd Sodom a Gomorra ffoi, syrthiasant i mewn iddynt, ond ffodd y lleill i'r mynydd.
10And the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
11 Yna cipiodd y pedwar holl eiddo Sodom a Gomorra, a'u holl luniaeth, a mynd ymaith.
11And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
12 Cymerasant hefyd Lot, mab i frawd Abram, a oedd yn byw yn Sodom, a'i eiddo, ac aethant ymaith.
12And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
13 A daeth un oedd wedi dianc, a dweud am hyn wrth Abram yr Hebread, a oedd yn byw wrth dderw Mamre yr Amoriad, brawd Escol ac Aner, rhai oedd mewn cynghrair ag Abram.
13And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
14 Pan glywodd Abram am gaethgludo'i frawd, casglodd ei wu375?r arfog oedd yn perthyn i'w du375?, tri chant a deunaw ohonynt, ac ymlidiodd hyd Dan.
14And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
15 Aeth ef a'i weision yn finteioedd yn eu herbyn liw nos, a'u taro a'u hymlid hyd Hoba, i'r gogledd o Ddamascus.
15And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
16 A daeth �'r holl eiddo yn �l, a dwyn yn �l hefyd ei frawd Lot a'i eiddo, a'r gwragedd a'r bobl.
16And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17 Wedi i Abram ddychwelyd o daro Cedorlaomer a'r brenhinoedd oedd gydag ef, aeth brenin Sodom allan i'w gyfarfod i ddyffryn Safe, sef Dyffryn y Brenin.
17And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.
18 A daeth Melchisedec brenin Salem � bara a gwin iddo; yr oedd ef yn offeiriad i'r Duw Goruchaf,
18And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
19 a bendithiodd ef a dweud: "Bendigedig fyddo Abram gan y Duw Goruchaf, perchen nef a daear;
19And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
20 a bendigedig fyddo'r Duw Goruchaf, a roes dy elynion yn dy law." A rhoddodd Abram iddo ddegwm o'r cwbl.
20And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
21 Dywedodd brenin Sodom wrth Abram, "Rho'r bobl i mi, a chymer di'r eiddo."
21And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
22 Ond dywedodd Abram wrth frenin Sodom, "Tyngais i'r ARGLWYDD Dduw Goruchaf, perchen nef a daear,
22And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
23 na chymerwn nac edau na charrai esgid, na dim oll sy'n eiddo i ti, rhag i ti ddweud, 'Yr wyf wedi cyfoethogi Abram.'
23That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
24 Ni chymeraf ond yr hyn a fwytaodd y llanciau, a chyfran y gwu375?r a ddaeth gyda mi, sef Aner, Escol a Mamre; c�nt hwy gymryd eu cyfran."
24Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
