King James Version

Hebrews

10

1 Oherwydd cysgod sydd gan y Gyfraith o'r pethau da sy'n dod, nid gwir ddelw y dirweddau hynny; ac ni all hi o gwbl, trwy'r un aberthau sy'n cael eu hoffrymu'n barhaus, flwyddyn ar l blwyddyn, ddwyn yr addolwyr i berffeithrwydd am byth.
1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 Petasai hynny'n bosibl, oni fuasent wedi peidio chael eu hoffrymu, gan na fuasai mwyach ymwybyddiaeth o bechodau gan addolwyr a oedd wedi eu puro un waith am byth?
2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 Ond y mae yn yr aberthau goffd bob blwyddyn am bechodau;
3But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 oherwydd y mae'n amhosibl i waed teirw a geifr dynnu ymaith bechodau.
4For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Dyna pam y mae ef, wrth ddod i'r byd, yn dweud: "Ni ddymunaist aberth ac offrwm, ond paratoaist gorff i mi.
5Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 Poethoffrymau ac aberth dros bechod, nid ymhyfrydaist ynddynt.
6In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Yna dywedais, 'Dyma fi wedi dod y mae wedi ei ysgrifennu mewn rhol llyfr amdanaf i wneud dy ewyllys di, O Dduw.'"
7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Y mae'n dweud, i ddechrau, "Aberthau ac offrymau, a phoethoffrymau ac aberth dros bechod, ni ddymunaist mohonynt ac nid ymhyfrydaist ynddynt." Dyma'r union bethau a offrymir yn l y Gyfraith.
8Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Yna dywedodd, "Dyma fi wedi dod i wneud dy ewyllys di." Y mae'n diddymu'r peth cyntaf er mwyn sefydlu'r ail.
9Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 Yn unol 'r ewyllys honno yr ydym wedi ein sancteiddio, trwy gorff Iesu Grist sydd wedi ei offrymu un waith am byth.
10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 Y mae pob offeiriad yn sefyll beunydd yn gweini, ac yn offrymu'r un aberthau dro ar l tro, aberthau na allant byth ddileu pechodau.
11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 Ond am hwn, wedi iddo offrymu un aberth dros bechodau am byth, eisteddodd ar ddeheulaw Duw,
12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 yn disgwyl bellach hyd oni osodir ei elynion yn droedfainc i'w draed.
13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 Oherwydd ag un offrwm y mae wedi perffeithio am byth y rhai a sancteiddir.
14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Ac y mae'r Ysbryd Gln hefyd yn tystio wrthym; oherwydd wedi iddo ddweud:
15Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 "Dyma'r cyfamod a wnaf hwy ar l y dyddiau hynny, medd yr Arglwydd; rhof fy nghyfreithiau yn eu calon, ac ysgrifennaf hwy ar eu meddwl",
16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 y mae'n ychwanegu: "A'u pechodau a'u drwgweithredoedd, ni chofiaf mohonynt byth mwy."
17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Yn awr, lle y ceir maddeuant am y pethau hyn, nid oes angen offrwm dros bechod mwyach.
18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Felly, gyfeillion, gan fod gennym hyder i fynd i mewn i'r cysegr drwy waed Iesu,
19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 ar hyd ffordd newydd a byw y mae ef wedi ei hagor inni drwy'r llen, hynny yw, trwy ei gnawd ef;
20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 a chan fod gennym offeiriad mawr ar du375? Dduw,
21And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 gadewch inni nesu chalon gywir, mewn llawn hyder ffydd, a'n calonnau wedi eu taenellu'n ln oddi wrth gydwybod ddrwg, a'n cyrff wedi eu golchi du373?r gln.
22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Gadewch inni ddal yn ddiwyro at gyffes ein gobaith, oherwydd y mae'r hwn a roddodd yr addewid yn ffyddlon.
23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 Gadewch inni ystyried sut y gallwn ennyn yn ein gilydd gariad a gweithredoedd da,
24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 heb gefnu ar ein cydgynulliad ein hunain, yn l arfer rhai, ond annog ein gilydd, ac yn fwy felly yn gymaint 'ch bod yn gweld y Dydd yn dod yn agos.
25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 Oherwydd os ydym yn dal i bechu'n fwriadol ar l inni dderbyn gwybodaeth am y gwirionedd, nid oes aberth dros bechodau i'w gael mwyach;
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 dim ond rhyw ddisgwyl brawychus am farn, ac angerdd tn a fydd yn difa'r gwrthwynebwyr.
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 Os bydd unrhyw un wedi diystyru Cyfraith Moses, caiff ei ladd yn ddidrugaredd ar air dau neu dri o dystion.
28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Ystyriwch gymaint llymach yw'r gosb a fernir yn haeddiant i'r hwn sydd wedi mathru Mab Duw, ac wedi cyfrif yn halogedig waed y cyfamod y cafodd ei sancteiddio drwyddo, ac wedi difenwi Ysbryd grasol Duw.
29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 Oherwydd fe wyddom pwy a ddywedodd: "Myfi piau dial, myfi a dalaf yn l"; ac eto: "Bydd yr Arglwydd yn barnu ei bobl."
30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 Peth dychrynllyd yw syrthio i ddwylo'r Duw byw.
31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 Cofiwch y dyddiau gynt pan fu i chwi, wedi eich goleuo, sefyll yn gadarn yng ngornest fawr eich cystuddiau:
32But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 weithiau, yn eich gwaradwydd a'ch cystuddiau, yn cael eich gwneud yn sioe i'r cyhoedd, ac weithiau yn gymdeithion i'r rhai oedd yn cael eu trin felly.
33Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
34 Oherwydd cyd-ddioddefasoch 'r carcharorion, a derbyniasoch mewn llawenydd ysbeilio'ch meddiannau, gan wybod fod meddiant rhagorach ac arhosol yn eiddo i chwi.
34For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 Peidiwch felly thaflu eich hyder i ffwrdd, gan fod gwobr fawr yn perthyn iddo.
35Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 Y mae angen dyfalbarhad arnoch i gyflawni ewyllys Duw a chymryd meddiant o'r hyn a addawyd.
36For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 Oherwydd, yng ngeiriau'r Ysgrythur: "Ymhen ennyd, ennyd bach, fe ddaw yr hwn sydd i ddod, a heb oedi;
37For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 ond fe gaiff fy un cyfiawn i fyw trwy ffydd, ac os cilia'n l, ni bydd fy enaid yn ymhyfrydu ynddo."
38Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 Eithr nid pobl y cilio'n l i ddistryw ydym ni, ond pobl ffydd sy'n mynd i feddiannu bywyd.
39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
