¹ Yn y dyddiau hynny aeth Heseceia'n glaf hyd farw, a daeth y proffwyd Eseia fab Amos ato a dweud, "Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: 'Trefna dy du375?, oherwydd 'Rwyt ar fin marw; ni fyddi fyw.'"

¹In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

² Troes Heseceia ei wyneb at y pared a gwedd�o ar yr ARGLWYDD,

²Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,

³ a dweud, "O ARGLWYDD, cofia fel yr oeddwn yn rhodio ger dy fron di � chywirdeb a chalon berffaith, ac yn gwneud yr hyn oedd dda yn dy olwg." Ac fe wylodd Heseceia'n chwerw.

³And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

⁴ Yna daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD at Eseia a dweud,

⁴Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,

⁵ "Dos, dywed wrth Heseceia, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD, Duw dy dad Dafydd: Clywais dy weddi a gwelais dy ddagrau; yn awr 'rwyf am ychwanegu pymtheng mlynedd at dy ddyddiau.

⁵Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

⁶ A gwaredaf di a'r ddinas hon o afael brenin Asyria, a byddaf yn gysgod dros y ddinas hon.

⁶And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

⁷ Dyma arwydd i ti oddi wrth yr ARGLWYDD, y bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn gwneud yr hyn a ddywedodd.

⁷And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;

⁸ Edrych, yr wyf yn peri i'r cysgod deflir ar risiau Ahas gan yr haul fynd yn ei �l ddeg o risiau.'" Ac aeth yr haul yn ei �l ddeg o'r grisiau yr oedd eisoes wedi mynd i lawr drostynt.

⁸Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

⁹ Cerdd Heseceia brenin Jwda, pan fu'n glaf ac yna gwella o'i glefyd:

⁹The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:

¹⁰ Dywedais, "Yn anterth fy nyddiau rhaid i mi fynd, a chael fy symud i byrth y bedd weddill fy mlynyddoedd";

¹⁰I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

¹¹ dywedais, "Ni chaf weld yr ARGLWYDD yn nhir y rhai byw, ac ni chaf edrych eto ar neb o drigolion y byd.

¹¹I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

¹² Dygwyd fy nhrigfan oddi arnaf a'i symud i ffwrdd fel pabell bugail; fel gwehydd 'rwy'n dirwyn fy nyddiau i ben, i'w torri ymaith o'r gwu375?dd. O fore hyd nos 'Rwyt yn fy narostwng.

¹²Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

¹³ O fel 'rwy'n dyheu am y bore! Maluriwyd fy esgyrn fel gan lew; o fore hyd nos 'Rwyt yn fy narostwng.

¹³I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

¹⁴ 'Rwy'n trydar fel gwennol neu fronfraith, 'rwy'n cwynfan fel colomen. Blinodd fy llygaid ar edrych i fyny; O ARGLWYDD, pledia ar fy rhan a bydd yn feichiau drosof."

¹⁴Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

¹⁵ Beth allaf fi ei ddweud? Llefarodd ef wrthyf ac fe'i gwnaeth. Ciliodd fy nghwsg i gyd, am ei bod mor chwerw arnaf.

¹⁵What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

¹⁶ ARGLWYDD, trwy'r pethau hyn y bydd rhywun fyw, ac yn yr holl bethau hyn y mae hoen fy ysbryd. Adfer fi, gwna i mi fyw.

¹⁶O LORD, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

¹⁷ Wele, er lles y bu'r holl chwerwder hwn i mi; yn dy gariad dygaist fi o bwll distryw, a thaflu fy holl bechodau y tu �l i'th gefn.

¹⁷Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

¹⁸ Canys ni fydd y bedd yn diolch i ti, nac angau yn dy glodfori; ni all y rhai sydd wedi disgyn i'r pwll obeithio am dy ffyddlondeb.

¹⁸For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

¹⁹ Ond y byw, y byw yn unig fydd yn diolch i ti, fel y gwnaf finnau heddiw; gwna tad i'w blant wybod am dy ffyddlondeb.

¹⁹The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

²⁰ Yr ARGLWYDD a'm gwared i; am hynny canwn �'n hofferynnau llinynnol holl ddyddiau ein bywyd yn nhu375?'r ARGLWYDD.

²⁰The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.

²¹ Yr oedd Eseia wedi dweud, "Gadewch iddynt gymryd swp o ffigys, a'i osod ar y cornwyd, ac fe fydd byw."

²¹For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.

²² A dywedodd Heseceia, "Beth yw'r prawf y caf fynd i fyny i du375?'r ARGLWYDD?"

²²Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?
