1 Am yr Ammoniaid, fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Onid oes meibion gan Israel? Onid oes etifedd iddo? Pam, ynteu, yr etifeddodd Milcom diriogaeth Gad, a pham y mae ei bobl yn preswylio yn ninasoedd Israel?
1Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
2 Am hynny, y mae'r dyddiau yn dod," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "y paraf glywed utgorn rhyfel yn erbyn Rabba'r Ammoniaid, a bydd yn garnedd anghyfannedd, a llosgir ei phentrefi thn; yna difreinia Israel y rhai a'i difreiniodd hi," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
2Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.
3 "Uda, Hesbon, oherwydd anrheithiwyd Ai; gwaeddwch, ferched Rabba, gwisgwch wregys o sachliain, galarwch, rhedwch gan rwygo eich cyrff; canys Milcom i gaethglud ynghyd 'i offeiriaid a'i benaethiaid.
3Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together.
4 Pam yr ymffrosti yn dy ddyffrynnoedd? O ferch anffyddlon, sy'n ymddiried yn ei thrysorau cudd, ac yn dweud, 'Pwy a ddaw yn fy erbyn?'
4Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
5 Yr wyf yn dwyn arswyd arnat," medd ARGLWYDD Dduw y Lluoedd, "rhag pawb sydd o'th amgylch; fe'ch gyrrir allan, bob un ar ei gyfer, ac ni bydd neb i gynnull y ffoaduriaid.
5Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth.
6 Ac wedi hynny adferaf lwyddiant yr Ammoniaid," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
6And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.
7 Am Edom, fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: "Onid oes doethineb mwyach yn Teman? A ddifethwyd cyngor o blith y deallus, ac a fethodd eu doethineb hwy?
7Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
8 Ffowch, trowch eich cefn, trigwch mewn cilfachau, chwi breswylwyr Dedan; canys dygaf drychineb Esau arno pan gosbaf ef.
8Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him.
9 Pe di cynaeafwyr gwin atat, yn ddiau gadawent loffion grawn; pe di lladron liw nos, nid ysbeilient ond yr hyn a'u digonai.
9If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.
10 Ond yr wyf fi wedi llwyr ddinoethi Esau; datguddiais ei fannau cudd, ac nid oes ganddo unman i ymguddio. Difethwyd ei blant a'i dylwyth a'i gymdogion, ac nid ydynt mwyach.
10But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
11 Gad dy rai amddifaid; fe'u cadwaf yn fyw; bydded i'th weddwon ymddiried ynof fi."
11Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.
12 Oherwydd fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD; "Wele, y rhai ni ddyfarnwyd iddynt yfed o'r cwpan, bu raid iddynt yfed. A ddihengi di yn ddigerydd? Na wnei, ond bydd raid i tithau yfed.
12For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.
13 Canys tyngais i mi fy hun," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "y bydd Bosra yn anghyfannedd, yn warth, yn anialwch ac yn felltith, a'i holl ddinasoedd yn ddiffeithwch oesol."
13For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
14 Clywais genadwri gan yr ARGLWYDD; anfonwyd cennad i blith y cenhedloedd: "Ymgasglwch, dewch yn ei herbyn, codwch i'r frwydr.
14I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
15 Canys wele, gwnaf di'n fach ymysg y cenhedloedd, yn ddirmygedig ymhlith pobloedd.
15For, lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men.
16 Y mae'r arswyd a beraist wedi dy dwyllo; gwnaeth dy galon yn falch. Tydi sy'n trigo yn holltau'r graig ac yn glynu wrth grib y bryniau, er i ti osod dy nyth cyn uched 'r eryr, fe'th hyrddiaf i lawr oddi yno," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
16Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.
17 "Bydd Edom yn anghyfannedd, a phawb sy'n mynd heibio yn arswydo, gan synnu oherwydd ei holl glwyfau.
17Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
18 Fel pan ddinistriwyd Sodom a Gomorra a'u cymdogion," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "ni fydd neb yn aros nac yn ymweld hi.
18As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
19 Wele, fel llew'n dod i fyny o wlad wyllt yr Iorddonen i'r borfa barhaol, ymlidiaf hwy ymaith yn ddisymwth oddi wrthi. Pwy a ddewisaf i'w osod drosti? Oherwydd pwy sydd fel myfi? Pwy a'm geilw i i gyfrif? Pwy yw'r bugail a saif o'm blaen i?
19Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
20 Am hynny, clywch yr hyn a fwriadodd yr ARGLWYDD yn erbyn Edom, a'i gynlluniau yn erbyn preswylwyr Teman: yn ddiau, fe lusgir ymaith hyd yn oed y lleiaf o'r praidd; yn ddiau, bydd eu porfeydd yn arswydo o'u plegid.
20Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
21 Fe gryn y ddaear gan su373?n eu cwymp; clywir eu cri wrth y Mr Coch.
21The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
22 Ie, bydd un yn codi, yn ehedeg fel eryr, ac yn lledu ei adenydd yn erbyn Bosra; a bydd calon cedyrn Edom y dydd hwnnw fel calon gwraig wrth esgor."
22Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
23 Am Ddamascus. "Gwaradwyddwyd Hamath ac Arpad, canys clywsant newydd drwg; cynhyrfir hwy gan bryder, fel y mr na ellir ei dawelu.
23Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
24 Llesgaodd Damascus, a throdd i ffoi; goddiweddodd dychryn hi, a gafaelodd cryndod a gwasgfa ynddi fel mewn gwraig wrth esgor.
24Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
25 Mor wrthodedig yw dinas moliant, caer llawenydd!
25How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
26 Am hynny fe syrth ei gwu375?r ifainc yn ei heolydd, a dinistrir ei holl filwyr y dydd hwnnw," medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd.
26Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
27 "Mi gyneuaf dn ym mur Damascus, ac fe ddifa lysoedd Ben-hadad."
27And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
28 Am Cedar, a theyrnasoedd Hasor, y rhai a drawyd gan Nebuchadnesar brenin Babilon, fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Codwch, esgynnwch yn erbyn Cedar; anrheithiwch bobl y dwyrain.
28Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.
29 Cymerir ymaith eu pebyll a'u diadellau, llenni eu pebyll, a'u celfi i gyd; dygir eu camelod oddi arnynt, a bloeddir wrthynt, 'Dychryn ar bob llaw!'
29Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.
30 Ffowch, rhedwch ymhell; trigwch mewn cilfachau, chwi breswylwyr Hasor," medd yr ARGLWYDD; "oherwydd gwnaeth Nebuchadnesar brenin Babilon gynllwyn, a lluniodd gynllun yn eich erbyn.
30Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
31 Codwch, esgynnwch yn erbyn y genedl ddiofal, sy'n byw'n ddiogel," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "heb ddorau na barrau iddi, a'i phobl yn byw iddynt eu hunain.
31Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
32 Bydd eu camelod yn anrhaith, a'u minteioedd anifeiliaid yn ysbail; gwasgaraf tua phob gwynt y rhai sydd 'u talcennau'n foel; o bob cyfeiriad dygaf arnynt eu dinistr," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
32And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD.
33 "Bydd Hasor yn gynefin siacaliaid, ac yn anghyfannedd byth; ni fydd neb yn byw ynddi, nac unrhyw un yn aros yno."
33And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.
34 Dyma air yr ARGLWYDD, a ddaeth at y proffwyd Jeremeia am Elam, yn nechrau teyrnasiad Sedeceia brenin Jwda:
34The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
35 "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Yr wyf am dorri bwa Elam, eu cadernid pennaf hwy.
35Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
36 Dygaf ar Elam bedwar gwynt, o bedwar cwr y nefoedd; gwasgaraf hwy tua'r holl wyntoedd hyn; ni bydd cenedl na ddaw ffoaduriaid Elam ati.
36And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
37 Canys gyrraf ar Elam ofn o flaen eu gelynion ac o flaen y rhai sy'n ceisio'u heinioes; dygaf arnynt ddinistr, sef angerdd fy nigofaint,' medd yr ARGLWYDD. 'Gyrraf y cleddyf ar eu hl, nes i mi eu llwyr ddifetha.
37For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
38 A gosodaf fy ngorseddfainc yn Elam, a difa oddi yno y brenin a'r swyddogion,' medd yr ARGLWYDD.
38And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.
39 "Ond yn y dyddiau diwethaf mi adferaf lwyddiant Elam," medd yr ARGLWYDD.
39But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.
