King James Version

Numbers

27

1 Yna daeth ynghyd ferched Seloffehad fab Heffer, fab Gilead, fab Machir, fab Manasse, o deuluoedd Manasse fab Joseff. Enwau ei ferched oedd Mala, Noa, Hogla, Milca a Tirsa.
1Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
2 Safasant wrth ddrws pabell y cyfarfod o flaen Moses ac Eleasar yr offeiriad, ac o flaen yr arweinwyr a'r holl gynulliad, a dweud,
2And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
3 "Bu farw ein tad yn yr anialwch; nid oedd ef ymhlith y rhai o gwmni Cora a ymgasglodd yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD, ond bu ef farw oherwydd ei bechod ei hun, heb adael mab ar ei l.
3Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
4 Pam y dylai enw ein tad gael ei ddileu o'i dylwyth am nad oedd ganddo fab? Rho inni etifeddiaeth ymhlith brodyr ein tad."
4Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
5 Cyflwynodd Moses eu hachos o flaen yr ARGLWYDD,
5And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.
6 a dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrtho:
6And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
7 "Y mae cais merched Seloffehad yn un cyfiawn; rho iddynt yr hawl i etifeddu ymhlith brodyr eu tad, a throsglwydda etifeddiaeth eu tad iddynt hwy.
7The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
8 Dywed wrth bobl Israel, 'Os bydd dyn farw heb fab, yr ydych i drosglwyddo ei etifeddiaeth i'w ferch.
8And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
9 Os na fydd ganddo ferch, rhowch ei etifeddiaeth i'w frodyr.
9And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
10 Os na fydd ganddo frodyr, rhowch ei etifeddiaeth i frodyr ei dad.
10And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.
11 Os na fydd gan ei dad frodyr, rhowch ei etifeddiaeth i'w berthynas agosaf, er mwyn iddo ef gael meddiant ohono.'" Bu hyn yn ddeddf a chyfraith i bobl Israel, fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD i Moses.
11And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
12 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dringa'r mynydd hwn, sef Mynydd Abarim, ac edrych ar y wlad a roddais i bobl Israel.
12And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.
13 Ar l iti ei gweld, fe'th gesglir dithau at dy bobl, fel y casglwyd dy frawd Aaron,
13And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
14 am i chwi wrthryfela yn erbyn fy ngorchymyn yn anialwch Sin, a gwrthod fy sancteiddio yng ngu373?ydd y cynulliad pan fu cynnen yn eu plith wrth y dyfroedd." Dyfroedd Meriba-cades yn anialwch Sin oedd y rhain.
14For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
15 Dywedodd Moses wrth yr ARGLWYDD,
15And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,
16 "Boed i'r ARGLWYDD, Duw ysbryd pob peth byw, benodi rhywun dros y cynulliad
16Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
17 i'w harwain a'u tywys wrth iddynt fynd a dod, rhag i gynulliad yr ARGLWYDD fod fel defaid heb fugail."
17Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
18 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Cymer Josua fab Nun, dyn sydd 'r ysbryd ynddo, a gosod dy law arno;
18And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
19 pr iddo sefyll o flaen Eleasar yr offeiriad ac o flaen yr holl gynulliad, a rho iddo siars yn eu gu373?ydd hwy.
19And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
20 Rho iddo gyfran o'th awdurdod di, er mwyn i holl gynulliad pobl Israel ufuddhau iddo.
20And thou shalt put some of thine honor upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
21 Y mae i sefyll o flaen Eleasar yr offeiriad, a bydd yntau'n ymgynghori ar ei ran gerbron yr ARGLWYDD trwy'r Wrim; ar ei orchymyn ef, bydd holl gynulliad pobl Israel yn mynd allan ac yn dod i mewn."
21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
22 Gwnaeth Moses fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD iddo; cymerodd Josua, a pheri iddo sefyll o flaen Eleasar yr offeiriad ac o flaen yr holl gynulliad,
22And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
23 a gosododd ei ddwylo arno, a rhoi iddo'r siars, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi cyfarwyddo Moses.
23And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
