¹ Yr wyf yn caru'r ARGLWYDD, am iddo wrando ar lef fy ngweddi,

¹I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

² am iddo droi ei glust ataf y dydd y gwaeddais arno.

²Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

³ Yr oedd clymau angau wedi tynhau amdanaf, a gefynnau Sheol wedi fy nal, a minnau'n dioddef adfyd ac ing.

³The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

⁴ Yna gelwais ar enw'r ARGLWYDD: "Yr wyf yn erfyn, ARGLWYDD, gwared fi."

⁴Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

⁵ Graslon yw'r ARGLWYDD, a chyfiawn, ac y mae ein Duw ni'n tosturio.

⁵Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

⁶ Ceidw'r ARGLWYDD y rhai syml; pan ddarostyngwyd fi, fe'm gwaredodd.

⁶The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

⁷ Gorffwysa unwaith eto, fy enaid, oherwydd bu'r ARGLWYDD yn hael wrthyt;

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁸ oherwydd gwaredodd fy enaid rhag angau, fy llygaid rhag dagrau, fy nhraed rhag baglu.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁹ Rhodiaf gerbron yr ARGLWYDD yn nhir y rhai byw.

⁹I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

¹⁰ Yr oeddwn yn credu y byddwn wedi fy narostwng; cefais fy nghystuddio'n drwm;

¹⁰I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

¹¹ yn fy nghyni dywedais, "Y mae pawb yn dwyllodrus."

¹¹I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹² Sut y gallaf dalu i'r ARGLWYDD am ei holl haelioni tuag ataf?

¹²What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

¹³ Dyrchafaf gwpan iachawdwriaeth, a galw ar enw'r ARGLWYDD.

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁴ Talaf fy addunedau i'r ARGLWYDD ym mhresenoldeb ei holl bobl.

¹⁴I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵ Gwerthfawr yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD yw marwolaeth ei ffyddloniaid.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

¹⁶ O ARGLWYDD, dy was yn wir wyf fi, gwas o hil gweision; yr wyt wedi datod fy rhwymau.

¹⁶O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷ Rhof i ti offrwm diolch, a galw ar enw'r ARGLWYDD.

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁸ Talaf fy addunedau i'r ARGLWYDD ym mhresenoldeb ei holl bobl,

¹⁸I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁹ yng nghynteddau tu375?'r ARGLWYDD yn dy ganol di, O Jerwsalem. Molwch yr ARGLWYDD.

¹⁹In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
