¹O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

² Cyfod, O farnwr y ddaear, rho eu haeddiant i'r balch.

²Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

³ Am ba hyd y bydd y drygionus, ARGLWYDD, y bydd y drygionus yn gorfoleddu?

³LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

⁴ Y maent yn tywallt eu parabl trahaus; y mae'r holl wneuthurwyr drygioni'n ymfalch�o.

⁴How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

⁵ Y maent yn sigo dy bobl, O ARGLWYDD, ac yn poenydio dy etifeddiaeth.

⁵They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

⁶ Lladdant y weddw a'r estron, a llofruddio'r amddifad,

⁶They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

⁷ a dweud, "Nid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn gweld, ac nid yw Duw Jacob yn sylwi."

⁷Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

⁸ Deallwch hyn, chwi'r dylaf o bobl! Ffyliaid, pa bryd y byddwch ddoeth?

⁸Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

⁹ Onid yw'r un a blannodd glust yn clywed, a'r un a luniodd lygad yn gweld?

⁹He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

¹⁰ Onid oes gan yr un sy'n disgyblu cenhedloedd gerydd, a'r un sy'n dysgu pobl wybodaeth?

¹⁰He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

¹¹ Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gwybod meddyliau pobl, mai gwynt ydynt.

¹¹The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

¹² Gwyn ei fyd y sawl a ddisgybli, O ARGLWYDD, ac a ddysgi allan o'th gyfraith,

¹²Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

¹³ i roi iddo lonyddwch rhag dyddiau adfyd, nes agor pwll i'r drygionus.

¹³That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

¹⁴ Oherwydd nid yw'r ARGLWYDD yn gwrthod ei bobl, nac yn gadael ei etifeddiaeth;

¹⁴For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

¹⁵ oherwydd dychwel barn at y rhai cyfiawn, a bydd yr holl rai uniawn yn ei dilyn.

¹⁵But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

¹⁶ Pwy a saif drosof yn erbyn y drygionus, a sefyll o'm plaid yn erbyn gwneuthurwyr drygioni?

¹⁶Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

¹⁷ Oni bai i'r ARGLWYDD fy nghynorthwyo byddwn yn fuan wedi mynd i dir distawrwydd.

¹⁷Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

¹⁸ Pan oeddwn yn meddwl bod fy nhroed yn llithro, yr oedd dy ffyddlondeb di, O ARGLWYDD, yn fy nghynnal.

¹⁸When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

¹⁹ Er bod pryderon fy nghalon yn niferus, y mae dy gysuron di'n fy llawenhau.

¹⁹In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

²⁰ A fydd cynghrair rhyngot ti a llywodraeth distryw, sy'n cynllunio niwed trwy gyfraith?

²⁰Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

²¹ Cytunant �'i gilydd am fywyd y cyfiawn, a chondemnio'r dieuog i farw.

²¹They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

²² Ond y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn amddiffyn i mi, a'm Duw yn graig i'm llochesu.

²²But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

²³ Daw �'u camweddau eu hunain yn �l arnynt, ac fe'u diddyma am eu drygioni. Bydd yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw yn eu diddymu.

²³And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
