¹ Ar derfyn yr ugain mlynedd a gymerodd Solomon i adeiladu tu375?'r ARGLWYDD a'i du375? ei hun,

¹And it cometh to pass, at the end of twenty years, that Solomon hath built the house of Jehovah, and his own house.

² fe ail-adeiladodd y dinasoedd a roddodd Hiram iddo, a rhoi Israeliaid i fyw ynddynt.

²As to the cities that Huram hath given to Solomon, Solomon hath built them, and there he causeth the sons of Israel to dwell.

³ Aeth Solomon i Hamath-soba a'i gorchfygu,

³And Solomon goeth to Hamath-Zobah, and layeth hold upon it;

⁴ ac fe ailadeiladodd Tadmor yn y diffeithwch, a'r holl ddinasoedd st�r yr oedd wedi eu hadeiladu yn Hamath.

⁴and he buildeth Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the cities of store that he hath built in Hamath.

⁵ Fe adeiladodd Beth-horon Uchaf a Beth-horon Isaf yn ddinasoedd caerog � muriau, dorau a barrau,

⁵And he buildeth Beth-Horon the upper, and Beth-Horon the lower -- cities of defence, with walls, two-leaved doors, and bar --

⁶ hefyd Baalath a'r holl ddinasoedd st�r oedd gan Solomon, a'r holl ddinasoedd cerbydau a'r dinasoedd meirch, a phopeth arall y dymunai ei adeiladu, prun ai yn Jerwsalem neu yn Lebanon neu drwy holl gyrrau ei deyrnas.

⁶and Baalath, and all the cities of store that Solomon had, and all the cities of the chariot, and the cities of the horsemen, and all the desire of Solomon that he desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

⁷ Gorfodwyd llafur oddi wrth holl weddill poblogaeth yr Hethiaid, Amoriaid, Peresiaid, Hefiaid a Jebusiaid, nad oeddent yn perthyn i'r Israeliaid.

⁷All the people who are left of the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who are not of Israel --

⁸ Yr oedd disgynyddion y rhain wedi eu gadael ar �l yn y wlad am nad oedd yr Israeliaid wedi medru eu difa; arnynt hwy y gosododd Solomon lafur gorfod sy'n parhau hyd heddiw.

⁸of their sons who have been left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel consumed not -- doth Solomon lift up a tribute unto this day.

⁹ Ni wnaeth Solomon yr un o'r Israeliaid yn gaethwas ar gyfer ei waith; hwy oedd ei filwyr, ei gapteiniaid a phenaethiaid ei gerbydau a'i feirch,

⁹And none of the sons of Israel hath Solomon made servants for his work, but they [are] men of war, and heads of his captains, and heads of his charioteers, and of his horsemen;

¹⁰ a hwy hefyd oedd prif arolygwyr y Brenin Solomon � dau gant a hanner ohonynt, yn rheoli'r bobl.

¹⁰and these [are] heads of the officers whom king Solomon hath, two hundred and fifty who are rulers among the people.

¹¹ Daeth Solomon � merch Pharo i fyny o Ddinas Dafydd i'r tu375? a gododd iddi, oherwydd dywedodd, "Ni chaiff fy ngwraig i fyw yn nhu375? Dafydd brenin Israel, am fod pob man yr aeth arch yr ARGLWYDD iddo yn gysegredig."

¹¹And the daughter of Pharaoh hath Solomon brought up from the city of David to the house that he built for her, for he said, `My wife doth not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, for they are holy unto whom hath come the ark of Jehovah.'

¹² Yna fe offrymodd Solomon boethoffrymau i'r ARGLWYDD ar allor yr ARGLWYDD, a gododd o flaen y porth.

¹²Then hath Solomon caused to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah that he built before the porch,

¹³ Offrymai yn unol �'r gofynion dyddiol a orchmynnodd Moses ynglu375?n �'r Sabothau, y newydd-loerau a'r tair gu373?yl flynyddol arbennig, sef gu373?yl y Bara Croyw, gu373?yl yr Wythnosau a gu373?yl y Pebyll.

¹³even by the matter of a day in its day, to cause to ascend according to the command of Moses, on sabbaths, and on new moons, and on appointed seasons, three times in a year -- in the feast of unleavened things, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths.

¹⁴ Ac yn unol � threfn ei dad Dafydd, fe osododd yr offeiriaid mewn dosbarthiadau ar gyfer gwasanaethu, a'r Lefiaid ar ddyletswydd i ganu mawl ac i wasanaethu'r offeiriaid yn feunyddiol yn �l y gofyn, a'r porthorion mewn dosbarthiadau wrth bob porth, oherwydd dyma orchymyn Dafydd, gu373?r Duw.

¹⁴And he establisheth, according to the ordinance of David his father, the courses of the priests over their service, and of the Levites over their charges, to praise and to minister over-against the priests, according to the matter of a day in its day, and the gatekeepers in their courses at gate and gate, for so [is] the command of David the man of God.

¹⁵ Nid anghofiwyd gorchymyn y brenin i'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid ynglu375?n �'r trysordai, na dim arall.

¹⁵And they have not turned aside [from] the command of the king concerning the priests and the Levites, in reference to any matter, and to the treasures.

¹⁶ Felly cyflawnwyd holl waith Solomon, o'r dydd y gosodwyd sylfaen tu375?'r ARGLWYDD nes ei gwblhau; a gorffennwyd tu375?'r ARGLWYDD.

¹⁶And all the work of Solomon is prepared till the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah, and till its completion; perfect is the house of Jehovah.

¹⁷ Yna aeth Solomon i Esion-geber ac i Elath, sydd ar lan y m�r yng ngwlad Edom.

¹⁷Then hath Solomon gone to Ezion-Geber, and unto Elath, on the border of the sea, in the land of Edom;

¹⁸ Anfonodd Hiram longau iddo gyda'i weision oedd yn forwyr profiadol, ac aethant gyda gweision Solomon i Offir, a dod � phedwar cant a hanner o dalentau aur oddi yno i'r Brenin Solomon.

¹⁸and Huram sendeth to him, by the hand of his servants, ships and servants knowing the sea, and they go with servants of Solomon to Ophir, and take thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and bring in unto king Solomon.
