1 Nid oes dim angen i mi ysgrifennu atoch chwi ynglu375?n �'r cymorth i'r saint.
1For, indeed, concerning the ministration that [is] for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you,
2 Gwn am eich eiddgarwch, a byddaf yn ymffrostio amdano ac amdanoch chwi wrth y Macedoniaid, ac yn dweud bod Achaia wedi ymbaratoi er y llynedd; a bu eich s�l yn symbyliad i'r rhan fwyaf ohonynt.
2for I have known your readiness of mind, which in your behalf I boast of to Macedonians, that Achaia hath been prepared a year ago, and the zeal of you did stir up the more part,
3 Rwy'n anfon y brodyr er mwyn sicrhau na cheir ein hymffrost amdanoch yn ofer yn hyn o beth, ond eich bod yn barod, fel y dywedais y byddech.
3and I sent the brethren, that our boasting on your behalf may not be made vain in this respect; that, according as I said, ye may be ready,
4 Byddai'n beth chwithig pe deuai Macedoniaid gyda mi a'ch cael yn amharod, ac felly i ni � heb s�n amdanoch chwi � gael ein cywilyddio am fod mor sicr ohonoch.
4lest if Macedonians may come with me, and find you unprepared, we — we may be put to shame (that we say not — ye) in this same confidence of boasting.
5 Dyna pam y teimlais ei bod yn angenrheidiol gofyn i'r brodyr ddod atoch o'm blaen i, a threfnu ymlaen llaw y rhodd yr oeddech wedi ei haddo o'r blaen. Felly byddai'n barod i mi, yn rhodd haelioni, nid rhodd cybydd-dod.
5Necessary, therefore, I thought [it] to exhort the brethren, that they may go before to you, and may make up before your formerly announced blessing, that this be ready, as a blessing, and not as covetousness.
6 Cofiwch hyn: a heuo'n brin a fed yn brin, a heuo'n hael a fed yn hael.
6And this: He who is sowing sparingly, sparingly also shall reap; and he who is sowing in blessings, in blessings also shall reap;
7 Rhaid i bawb roi o wirfodd ei galon, nid o anfodd neu o raid, oherwydd rhoddwr llawen y mae Duw'n ei garu.
7each one, according as he doth purpose in heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for a cheerful giver doth God love,
8 Y mae Duw yn gallu rhoi pob gras i chwi yn helaeth, er mwyn i chwi, ar ben eich digon bob amser ym mhob peth, allu rhoi yn helaeth i bob gwaith da.
8and God [is] able all grace to cause to abound to you, that in every thing always all sufficiency having, ye may abound to every good work,
9 Fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Gwasgarodd ei roddion ymhlith y tlodion, y mae ei haelioni yn para am byth."
9(according as it hath been written, `He dispersed abroad, he gave to the poor, his righteousness doth remain to the age,`)
10 Bydd yr hwn sydd yn rhoi had i'r heuwr a bara iddo'n ymborth yn rhoi had i chwithau ac yn ei amlhau; bydd yn peri i ffrwyth eich haelioni gynyddu.
10and may He who is supplying seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
11 Ym mhob peth cewch eich cyfoethogi ar gyfer pob haelioni, a bydd hynny trwom ni yn esgor ar ddiolchgarwch i Dduw.
11in every thing being enriched to all liberality, which doth work through us thanksgiving to God,
12 Oherwydd y mae'r cymorth a ddaw o'r gwasanaeth hwn, nid yn unig yn diwallu anghenion y saint ond hefyd yn gorlifo mewn llawer o ddiolchgarwch i Dduw.
12because the ministration of this service not only is supplying the wants of the saints, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God,
13 Ar gyfrif y prawf sydd yn y cymorth hwn, byddant yn gogoneddu Duw am eich ufudd-dod i Efengyl Crist, yr Efengyl yr ydych yn ei chyffesu, ac am haelioni eich cyfraniad iddynt hwy ac i bawb.
13through the proof of this ministration glorifying God for the subjection of your confession to the good news of the Christ, and [for] the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all,
14 Byddant yn hiraethu amdanoch ac yn gwedd�o ar eich rhan, oherwydd y gras rhagorol a roddodd Duw i chwi.
14and by their supplication in your behalf, longing after you because of the exceeding grace of God upon you;
15 Diolch i Dduw am ei rodd anhraethadwy.
15thanks also to God for His unspeakable gift!
