1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Nadd ddwy lech garreg, fel y rhai cyntaf, ac fe ysgrifennaf arnynt y geiriau oedd ar y llechau cyntaf, a dorraist.
1And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;
2 Bydd barod erbyn y bore, a thyrd i fyny'n gynnar i Fynydd Sinai, ac aros amdanaf yno ar ben y mynydd.
2and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,
3 Nid oes neb i ddod i fyny gyda thi, nac i ymddangos yn unman ar y mynydd; a phaid gadael i ddefaid na gwartheg bori ar gyfyl y mynydd hwn."
3and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.`
4 Felly naddodd Moses ddwy lech garreg, fel y rhai cyntaf, a chododd yn fore ac aeth i fyny i Fynydd Sinai, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo, a chymerodd yn ei law y ddwy lech garreg.
4And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.
5 Disgynnodd yr ARGLWYDD mewn cwmwl, a safodd yno gydag ef, a chyhoeddi ei enw, ARGLWYDD.
5And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,
6 Aeth yr ARGLWYDD heibio o'i flaen, a chyhoeddi: "Yr ARGLWYDD, yr ARGLWYDD, Duw trugarog a graslon, araf i ddigio, llawn cariad a ffyddlondeb;
6and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: `Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,
7 yn dangos cariad i filoedd, yn maddau drygioni a gwrthryfel a phechod, ond heb adael yr euog yn ddi-gosb, ac yn cosbi plant, a phlant eu plant, hyd y drydedd a'r bedwaredd genhedlaeth, am ddrygioni eu hynafiaid."
7keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on children, and on children`s children, on a third [generation], and on a fourth.`
8 Brysiodd Moses i ymgrymu tua'r llawr ac addoli.
8And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,
9 Yna dywedodd, "Os cefais yn awr ffafr yn d'olwg, O ARGLWYDD, boed i ti fynd gyda ni. Er bod y bobl yn wargaled, maddau ein gwrthryfel a'n pechod, a chymer ni yn etifeddiaeth i ti."
9and saith, `If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.`
10 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD, "Edrych, yr wyf am wneud cyfamod. Yng ngu373?ydd dy holl bobl gwnaf ryfeddodau na wnaed eu tebyg ymhlith unrhyw genedl ar yr holl ddaear; yna bydd yr holl bobl yr wyt yn eu mysg yn gweld gwaith yr ARGLWYDD, oherwydd yr wyf am wneud thi beth syfrdanol.
10And He saith, `Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou [art] have seen the work of Jehovah, for it [is] fearful that which I am doing with thee.
11 Cadw'r hyn yr wyf yn ei orchymyn iti heddiw, a gyrraf allan o'th flaen yr Amoriaid, Canaaneaid, Hethiaid, Peresiaid, Hefiaid a Jebusiaid.
11`Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;
12 Gwylia rhag iti wneud cyfamod thrigolion y wlad yr ei iddi, rhag iddynt fod yn fagl iti.
12take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;
13 Dinistriwch eu hallorau, drylliwch eu colofnau, a thorrwch i lawr eu pyst.
13for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;
14 Paid ag ymgrymu i dduw arall, oherwydd
14for ye do not bow yourselves to another god — for Jehovah, whose name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.
15 Eiddigeddus yw enw'r ARGLWYDD, a Duw eiddigeddus ydyw. Paid gwneud cyfamod thrigolion y wlad rhag iddynt, wrth buteinio ar l eu duwiau ac aberthu iddynt, dy wahodd dithau i fwyta o'u haberth,
15`Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,
16 ac i gymryd eu merched i'th feibion; a rhag i'w merched, wrth iddynt buteinio ar l eu duwiau, wneud i'th feibion buteinio ar l eu duwiau hwy.
16and thou hast taken of their daughters to thy sons, and their daughters have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have caused thy sons to go a-whoring after their gods;
17 "Paid gwneud i ti ddelwau tawdd.
17a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.
18 "Cadw u373?yl y Bara Croyw. Yr wyt i fwyta bara croyw am saith diwrnod ar yr amser penodedig ym mis Abib, fel y gorchmynnais iti, oherwydd ym mis Abib y daethost allan o'r Aifft.
18`The feast of unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at an appointed time, the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.
19 "Eiddof fi yw'r cyntaf a ddaw o'r groth, y cyntafanedig o'th holl anifeiliaid gwryw, yn wartheg ac yn ddefaid.
19`All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;
20 Yr wyt i gyfnewid cyntafanedig asyn am oen, ac os na fyddi'n ei gyfnewid, tor ei wddf. Yr wyt i gyfnewid pob cyntafanedig o'th feibion. Nid oes neb i ymddangos o'm blaen yn waglaw.
20and the firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb; and if thou dost not ransom, then thou hast beheaded it; every first-born of thy sons thou dost ransom, and they do not appear before Me empty.
21 "Am chwe diwrnod yr wyt i weithio, ond ar y seithfed dydd yr wyt i orffwys, boed yn amser aredig neu yn gynhaeaf.
21`Six days thou dost work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest; in ploughing-time and in harvest thou dost rest.
22 "Cadw hefyd u373?yl yr Wythnosau, blaenffrwyth y cynhaeaf gwenith, a gu373?yl y Cynnull ar ddiwedd y flwyddyn.
22`And a feast of weeks thou dost observe for thyself; first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the feast of in-gathering, at the revolution of the year.
23 Y mae pob gwryw yn eich plith i ymddangos o flaen yr ARGLWYDD Dduw, Duw Israel, deirgwaith y flwyddyn.
23`Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel;
24 Byddaf finnau'n gyrru cenhedloedd allan o'th flaen ac yn estyn dy derfynau, rhag i neb chwennych dy dir pan fyddi'n ymddangos deirgwaith y flwyddyn o flaen yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw.
24for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.
25 "Paid ag offrymu gwaed fy aberth gyda bara lefeinllyd, a phaid chadw aberth gu373?yl y Pasg dros nos hyd y bore.
25`Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:
26 "Yr wyt i ddod 'r gorau o flaenffrwyth dy dir i du375?'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw. "Paid berwi myn yn llaeth ei fam."
26the first of the first-fruits of the land thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother`s milk.`
27 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Ysgrifenna'r geiriau hyn, oherwydd yn l y geiriau hyn y gwneuthum gyfamod thi ac ag Israel."
27And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.`
28 Bu Moses yno gyda'r ARGLWYDD am ddeugain diwrnod a deugain nos, heb fwyta bara nac yfed du373?r, ac ysgrifennodd ar y llechau eiriau'r cyfamod, sef y deg gorchymyn.
28And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant — the ten matters.
29 Pan ddaeth Moses i lawr o Fynydd Sinai gyda dwy lech y dystiolaeth yn ei law, ni wyddai fod croen ei wyneb yn disgleirio ar l iddo siarad Duw.
29And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,
30 Pan welodd Aaron a holl bobl Israel fod croen wyneb Moses yn disgleirio, yr oedd arnynt ofn dod yn agos ato.
30and Aaron seeth — all the sons of Israel also — Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.
31 Ond galwodd Moses arnynt, a throdd Aaron a holl arweinwyr cynulliad Israel ato, a siaradodd Moses hwy.
31And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;
32 Yna daeth holl bobl Israel ato, a gorchmynnodd iddynt yr holl bethau yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi eu dweud wrtho ar Fynydd Sinai.
32and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.
33 Pan orffennodd Moses siarad hwy, rhoddodd orchudd ar ei wyneb,
33And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;
34 ond pan fyddai'n mynd o flaen yr ARGLWYDD i siarad ag ef, byddai'n tynnu'r gorchudd nes iddo ddod allan, ac wedi dod allan, byddai'n dweud wrth bobl Israel yr hyn a orchmynnwyd iddo.
34and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;
35 A phan welent hwy fod croen ei wyneb yn disgleirio, byddai Moses yn rhoi'r gorchudd yn l ar ei wyneb nes y byddai'n mynd i mewn eto i siarad Duw.
35and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
