1 "Tithau, fab dyn, cymer briddlech a'i gosod o'th flaen, a darlunia arni ddinas Jerwsalem.
1`And thou, son of man, take to thee a brick, and thou hast put it before thee, and hast graven on it a city — Jerusalem,
2 Gosod warchae arni, adeilada warchglawdd o'i hamgylch, cod esgynfa tuag ati, rho wersylloedd yn ei herbyn a gosod beiriannau hyrddio o'i chwmpas.
2and hast placed against it a siege, and builded against it a fortification, and poured out against it a mount, and placed against it camps, yea, set thou against it battering-rams round about.
3 Yna cymer badell haearn a'i rhoi fel mur o haearn rhyngot ti a'r ddinas, a thro dy wyneb tuag ati; a bydd dan warchae, a thithau'n ymosod arni. Arwydd fydd hyn i du375? Israel.
3And thou, take to thee an iron pan, and thou hast made it a wall of iron between thee and the city; and thou hast prepared thy face against it, and it hath been in a siege, yea, thou hast laid siege against it. A sign it [is] to the house of Israel.
4 "Yna gorwedd ar dy ochr chwith, a gosod ddrygioni tu375? Israel arni; byddi'n cario eu drygioni am nifer y dyddiau y byddi'n gorwedd ar dy ochr.
4`And thou, lie on thy left side, and thou hast placed the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; the number of the days that thou liest on it, thou bearest their iniquity.
5 Yr wyf wedi pennu ar dy gyfer yr un nifer o ddyddiau ag o flynyddoedd eu drygioni, sef tri chant naw deg o ddyddiau, iti gario drygioni tu375? Israel.
5And I — I have laid on thee the years of their iniquity, the number of days, three hundred and ninety days; and thou hast borne the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 Wedi iti orffen hyn, gorwedd ar dy ochr dde, a charia ddrygioni tu375? Jwda; yr wyf wedi pennu ar dy gyfer ddeugain o ddyddiau, sef diwrnod am bob blwyddyn.
6And thou hast completed these, and hast lain on thy right side, a second time, and hast borne the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days — a day for a year — a day for a year I have appointed to thee.
7 Tro dy wyneb tuag at warchae Jerwsalem, ac 'th fraich yn noeth proffwyda yn ei herbyn.
7`And unto the siege of Jerusalem thou dost prepare thy face, and thine arm [is] uncovered, and thou hast prophesied concerning it.
8 Rhoddaf rwymau amdanat fel na elli droi o'r naill ochr i'r llall nes iti orffen dyddiau dy warchae.
8And lo, I have put on thee thick bands, and thou dost not turn from side to side till thy completing the days of thy siege.
9 "Cymer iti wenith a haidd, ffa a phys, miled a cheirch, a'u rhoi mewn un llestr, a gwna fara ohonynt; byddi'n ei fwyta yn ystod y tri chant naw deg o ddyddiau y byddi'n gorwedd ar dy ochr.
9`And thou, take to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and thou hast put them in one vessel, and made them to thee for bread; the number of the days that thou art lying on thy side — three hundred and ninety days — thou dost eat it.
10 Byddi'n bwyta dy fwyd wrth bwysau, ugain sicl y dydd, ac yn ei fwyta yr un amser bob dydd.
10And thy food that thou dost eat [is] by weight, twenty shekels daily; from time to time thou dost eat it.
11 A byddi'n yfed du373?r wrth fesur, chweched ran o hin, ac yn ei yfed yr un amser bob dydd.
11`And water by measure thou dost drink, a sixth part of the hin; from time to time thou dost drink [it].
12 Byddi'n ei fwyta yn deisen haidd wedi ei chrasu yng ngu373?ydd y bobl ar gynnud o garthion dynol."
12A barley-cake thou dost eat it, and it with dung — the filth of man — thou dost bake before their eyes.
13 A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD, "Fel hyn y bydd plant Israel yn bwyta bara halogedig ymysg y cenhedloedd y gyrraf hwy atynt."
13And Jehovah saith, `Thus do the sons of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations whither I drive them.`
14 Atebais, "O Arglwydd DDUW, nid wyf erioed wedi fy halogi fy hun; o'm hieuenctid hyd yn awr nid wyf wedi bwyta dim a fu farw nac a ysglyfaethwyd, ac ni ddaeth cig aflan i'm genau."
14And I say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, my soul is not defiled, and carcase, and torn thing, I have not eaten from my youth, even till now; nor come into my mouth hath abominable flesh.`
15 Yna dywedodd wrthyf, "Edrych, fe ganiatf iti ddefnyddio tail gwartheg yn lle carthion dynol i grasu dy fara."
15And He saith unto me, `See, I have given to thee bullock`s dung instead of man`s dung, and thou hast made thy bread by it.`
16 Dywedodd hefyd, "Fab dyn, yr wyf yn torri ymaith y gynhaliaeth o fara o Jerwsalem; mewn pryder y byddant yn bwyta bara wrth bwysau, ac mewn braw yn yfed du373?r wrth fesur.
16And He saith unto me, `Son of man, lo, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they have eaten bread by weight and with fear; and water by measure and with astonishment, they do drink;
17 Bydd y fath brinder o fara a du373?r fel y byddant yn brawychu o weld ei gilydd; byddant yn darfod oherwydd eu drygioni.
17so that they lack bread and water, and have been astonished one with another, and been consumed in their iniquity.
