1 Dyma genedlaethau meibion Noa, sef Sem, Cham a Jaffeth. Ganwyd iddynt feibion wedi'r dilyw.
1And these [are] births of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and born to them are sons after the deluge.
2 Meibion Jaffeth oedd Gomer, Magog, Madai, Jafan, Tubal, Mesech, a Tiras.
2`Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 Meibion Gomer: Ascenas, Riffath, a Togarma.
3And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 Meibion Jafan: Elisa, Tarsis, Cittim, a Dodanim;
4And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 o'r rhain yr ymrannodd pobl yr ynysoedd. Dyna feibion Jaffeth yn eu gwledydd, pob un yn �l ei iaith a'i lwyth, ac yn eu cenhedloedd.
5By these have the isles of the nations been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
6 Meibion Cham oedd Cus, Misraim, Put, a Canaan.
6And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 Meibion Cus: Seba, Hafila, Sabta, Raama, a Sabteca. Meibion Raama: Seba a Dedan.
7And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
8 Cus oedd tad Nimrod; hwn oedd y cyntaf o gedyrn y ddaear.
8And Cush hath begotten Nimrod;
9 Yr oedd yn heliwr cryf gerbron yr ARGLWYDD; dyna pam y dywedir, "Fel Nimrod, yn heliwr cryf gerbron yr ARGLWYDD."
9he hath begun to be a hero in the land; he hath been a hero in hunting before Jehovah; therefore it is said, `As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before Jehovah.`
10 Dechreuodd ei frenhiniaeth gyda Babel, Erech, Accad a Calne yng ngwlad Sinar.
10And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
11 Aeth allan o'r wlad honno i Asyria ac adeiladu Ninefe, Rehoboth-ir, Cala,
11from that land he hath gone out to Asshur, and buildeth Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
12 a Resen, dinas fawr rhwng Ninefe a Cala.
12and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
13 Yr oedd Misraim yn dad i Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Nafftwhim,
13And Mitzraim hath begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
14 Pathrusim, Casluhim a Cafftorim, y daeth y Philistiaid ohonynt.
14and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, (whence have come out Philistim,) and the Caphtorim.
15 Canaan oedd tad Sidon, ei gyntafanedig, a Heth;
15And Canaan hath begotten Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
16 hefyd y Jebusiaid, Amoriaid, Girgasiaid,
16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
17 Hefiaid, Arciaid, Siniaid,
17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 Arfadiaid, Semariaid, a Hamathiaid. Wedi hynny gwasgarwyd teuluoedd y Canaaneaid,
18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterwards have the families of the Canaanite been scattered.
19 ac estyn eu ffin o Sidon i gyfeiriad Gerar, hyd Gasa; ac i gyfeiriad Sodom, Gomorra, Adma, a Seboim, hyd Lesa.
19And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] thy coming towards Gerar, unto Gaza; [in] thy coming towards Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, unto Lasha.
20 Dyna feibion Cham, yn �l eu llwythau a'u hieithoedd, ynghyd �'u gwledydd a'u cenhedloedd.
20These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21 I Sem hefyd, tad holl feibion Heber, brawd hynaf Jaffeth, ganwyd plant.
21As to Shem, father of all sons of Eber, brother of Japheth the elder, he hath also begotten:
22 Meibion Sem oedd Elam, Assur, Arffaxad, Lud, ac Aram.
22Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 Meibion Aram: Us, Hul, Gether, a Mas.
23And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 Arffaxad oedd tad Sela, a Sela oedd tad Heber.
24And Arphaxad hath begotten Salah, and Salah hath begotten Eber.
25 I Heber ganwyd dau fab; enw un oedd Peleg, oherwydd yn ei ddyddiau ef rhannwyd y ddaear, a Joctan oedd enw ei frawd.
25And to Eber have two sons been born; the name of the one [is] Peleg (for in his days hath the earth been divided,) and his brother`s name [is] Joktan.
26 Joctan oedd tad Almodad, Saleff, Hasar-mafeth, Jera,
26And Joktan hath begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27 Hadoram, Usal, Dicla,
27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28 Obal, Abimael, Seba,
28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 Offir, Hafila, a Jobab; yr oeddent oll yn feibion Joctan.
29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
30 Yr oedd eu tir yn ymestyn o Mesa i gyfeiriad Seffar, i fynydd-dir y dwyrain.
30and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] thy coming towards Sephar, a mount of the east.
31 Dyna feibion Sem, yn �l eu llwythau a'u hieithoedd, ynghyd �'u gwledydd a'u cenhedloedd.
31These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
32 Dyma lwythau meibion Noa, yn �l eu hachau, yn eu cenhedloedd; ac o'r rhain yr ymrannodd y cenhedloedd dros y ddaear wedi'r dilyw.
32These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their births, in their nations, and by these have the nations been parted in the earth after the deluge.
