Young`s Literal Translation

Mark

10

1 Cychwynnodd oddi yno a daeth i diriogaeth Jwdea a'r tu hwnt i'r Iorddonen. Daeth tyrfaoedd ynghyd ato drachefn, a thrachefn yn l ei arfer dechreuodd eu dysgu.
1And having risen thence, he doth come to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again do multitudes come together unto him, and, as he had been accustomed, again he was teaching them.
2 A daeth Phariseaid ato a gofyn iddo a oedd yn gyfreithlon i u373?r ysgaru ei wraig; rhoi prawf arno yr oeddent.
2And the Pharisees, having come near, questioned him, if it is lawful for a husband to put away a wife, tempting him,
3 Atebodd yntau hwy gan ofyn, "Beth a orchmynnodd Moses i chwi?"
3and he answering said to them, `What did Moses command you?`
4 Dywedasant hwythau, "Rhoddodd Moses ganiatd i ysgrifennu llythyr ysgar a'i hanfon ymaith."
4and they said, `Moses suffered to write a bill of divorce, and to put away.`
5 Ond meddai Iesu wrthynt, "Oherwydd eich ystyfnigrwydd yr ysgrifennodd ef y gorchymyn hwn ichwi.
5And Jesus answering said to them, `For the stiffness of your heart he wrote you this command,
6 Ond o ddechreuad y greadigaeth, yn wryw a benyw y gwnaeth Duw hwy.
6but from the beginning of the creation, a male and a female God did make them;
7 Dyna pam y bydd dyn yn gadael ei dad a'i fam ac yn glynu wrth ei wraig,
7on this account shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife,
8 a bydd y ddau yn un cnawd. Gan hynny nid dau mohonynt mwyach, ond un cnawd.
8and they shall be — the two — for one flesh; so that they are no more two, but one flesh;
9 Felly, yr hyn a gysylltodd Duw, peidied neb ei wahanu."
9what therefore God did join together, let not man put asunder.`
10 Wedi mynd yn l i'r tu375?, holodd ei ddisgyblion ef ynghylch hyn.
10And in the house again his disciples of the same thing questioned him,
11 Ac meddai wrthynt, "Pwy bynnag sy'n ysgaru ei wraig ac yn priodi un arall, y mae'n godinebu yn ei herbyn hi;
11and he saith to them, `Whoever may put away his wife, and may marry another, doth commit adultery against her;
12 ac os bydd iddi hithau ysgaru ei gu373?r a phriodi un arall, y mae hi'n godinebu."
12and if a woman may put away her husband, and is married to another, she committeth adultery.`
13 Yr oeddent yn dod phlant ato, iddo gyffwrdd hwy. Ceryddodd y disgyblion hwy,
13And they were bringing to him children, that he might touch them, and the disciples were rebuking those bringing them,
14 ond pan welodd Iesu hyn aeth yn ddig, a dywedodd wrthynt, "Gadewch i'r plant ddod ataf fi; peidiwch 'u rhwystro, oherwydd i rai fel hwy y mae teyrnas Dduw yn perthyn.
14and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and he said to them, `Suffer the children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the reign of God;
15 Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, pwy bynnag nad yw'n derbyn teyrnas Dduw yn null plentyn, nid byth i mewn iddi."
15verily I say to you, whoever may not receive the reign of God, as a child — he may not enter into it;`
16 A chymerodd hwy yn ei freichiau a'u bendithio, gan roi ei ddwylo arnynt.
16and having taken them in his arms, having put [his] hands upon them, he was blessing them.
17 Wrth iddo fynd i'w daith, rhedodd rhyw ddyn ato a phenlinio o'i flaen a gofyn iddo, "Athro da, beth a wnaf i etifeddu bywyd tragwyddol?"
17And as he is going forth into the way, one having run and having kneeled to him, was questioning him, `Good teacher, what may I do, that life age-during I may inherit?`
18 A dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "Pam yr wyt yn fy ngalw i yn dda? Nid oes neb da ond un, sef Duw.
18And Jesus said to him, `Why me dost thou call good? no one [is] good except One — God;
19 Gwyddost y gorchmynion: 'Na ladd, na odineba, na ladrata, na chamdystiolaetha, na chamgolleda, anrhydedda dy dad a'th fam.'"
19the commands thou hast known: Thou mayest not commit adultery, Thou mayest do no murder, Thou mayest not steal, Thou mayest not bear false witness, Thou mayest not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.`
20 Meddai yntau wrtho, "Athro, yr wyf wedi cadw'r rhain i gyd o'm hieuenctid."
20And he answering said to him, `Teacher, all these did I keep from my youth.`
21 Edrychodd Iesu arno ac fe'i hoffodd, a dywedodd wrtho, "Un peth sy'n eisiau ynot; dos, gwerth y cwbl sydd gennyt a dyro i'r tlodion, a chei drysor yn y nef; a thyrd, canlyn fi."
21And Jesus having looked upon him, did love him, and said to him, `One thing thou dost lack; go away, whatever thou hast — sell, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, be following me, having taken up the cross.`
22 Cymylodd ei wedd ar y gair, ac aeth ymaith yn drist, oherwydd yr oedd yn berchen meddiannau lawer.
22And he — gloomy at the word — went away sorrowing, for he was having many possessions.
23 Edrychodd Iesu o'i gwmpas ac meddai wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Mor anodd fydd hi i rai cyfoethog fynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw!"
23And Jesus having looked round, saith to his disciples, `How hardly shall they who have riches enter into the reign of God!`
24 Syfrdanwyd y disgyblion gan ei eiriau, ond meddai Iesu wrthynt drachefn, "Blant, mor anodd yw mynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw!
24And the disciples were astonished at his words, and Jesus again answering saith to them, `Children, how hard is it to those trusting on the riches to enter into the reign of God!
25 Y mae'n haws i gamel fynd trwy grau nodwydd nag i rywun cyfoethog fynd i mewn i deyrnas Dduw."
25It is easier for a camel through the eye of the needle to enter, than for a rich man to enter into the reign of God.`
26 Synasant yn fwy byth, ac meddent wrth ei gilydd, "Pwy ynteu all gael ei achub?"
26And they were astonished beyond measure, saying unto themselves, `And who is able to be saved?`
27 Edrychodd Iesu arnynt a dywedodd, "Gyda dynion y mae'n amhosibl, ond nid gyda Duw. Y mae pob peth yn bosibl gyda Duw."
27And Jesus, having looked upon them, saith, `With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.`
28 Dechreuodd Pedr ddweud wrtho, "Dyma ni wedi gadael pob peth ac wedi dy ganlyn di."
28And Peter began to say to him, `Lo, we left all, and we followed thee.`
29 Meddai Iesu, "Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, nid oes neb a adawodd du375? neu frodyr neu chwiorydd neu fam neu dad neu blant neu diroedd er fy mwyn i ac er mwyn yr Efengyl,
29And Jesus answering said, `Verily I say to you, there is no one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my sake, and for the good news`,
30 na chaiff dderbyn ganwaith cymaint yn awr yn yr amser hwn, yn dai a brodyr a chwiorydd a mamau a phlant a thiroedd, ynghyd ag erledigaethau, ac yn yr oes sy'n dod fywyd tragwyddol.
30who may not receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecutions, and in the age that is coming, life age-during;
31 Ond bydd llawer sy'n flaenaf yn olaf, a'r rhai olaf yn flaenaf."
31and many first shall be last, and the last first.`
32 Yr oeddent ar y ffordd yn mynd i fyny i Jerwsalem, ac Iesu'n mynd o'u blaen. Yr oedd arswyd arnynt, ac ofn ar y rhai oedd yn canlyn. Cymerodd y Deuddeg ato drachefn a dechreuodd sn wrthynt am yr hyn oedd i ddigwydd iddo:
32And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them, and they were amazed, and following they were afraid. And having again taken the twelve, he began to tell them the things about to happen to him,
33 "Dyma ni'n mynd i fyny i Jerwsalem; fe gaiff Mab y Dyn ei draddodi i'r prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion; condemniant ef i farwolaeth, a'i drosglwyddo i'r Cenhedloedd;
33— `Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man shall be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the nations,
34 a gwatwarant ef, a phoeri arno a'i fflangellu a'i ladd, ac wedi tridiau fe atgyfoda."
34and they shall mock him, and scourge him, and spit on him, and kill him, and the third day he shall rise again.`
35 Daeth Iago ac Ioan, meibion Sebedeus, ato a dweud wrtho, "Athro, yr ydym am iti wneud i ni y peth a ofynnwn gennyt."
35And there come near to him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, `Teacher, we wish that whatever we may ask for ourselves, thou mayest do for us;`
36 Meddai yntau wrthynt, "Beth yr ydych am imi ei wneud i chwi?"
36and he said to them, `What do ye wish me to do for you?`
37 A dywedasant wrtho, "Dyro i ni gael eistedd, un ar dy law dde ac un ar dy law chwith yn dy ogoniant."
37and they said to him, `Grant to us that, one on thy right hand and one on thy left, we may sit in thy glory;`
38 Ac meddai Iesu wrthynt, "Ni wyddoch beth yr ydych yn ei ofyn. A allwch chwi yfed y cwpan yr wyf fi yn ei yfed, neu gael eich bedyddio 'r bedydd y bedyddir fi ag ef?"
38and Jesus said to them, `Ye have not known what ye ask; are ye able to drink of the cup that I drink of, and with the baptism that I am baptized with — to be baptized?`
39 Dywedasant hwythau wrtho, "Gallwn." Ac meddai Iesu wrthynt, "Cewch yfed y cwpan yr wyf fi yn ei yfed, a bedyddir chwi 'r bedydd y bedyddir fi ag ef,
39And they said to him, `We are able;` and Jesus said to them, `Of the cup indeed that I drink of, ye shall drink, and with the baptism that I am baptized with, ye shall be baptized;
40 ond eistedd ar fy llaw dde neu ar fy llaw chwith, nid gennyf fi y mae'r hawl i'w roi; y mae'n perthyn i'r rhai y mae wedi ei ddarparu ar eu cyfer."
40but to sit on my right and on my left, is not mine to give, but — to those for whom it hath been prepared.`
41 Pan glywodd y deg, aethant yn ddig wrth Iago ac Ioan.
41And the ten having heard, began to be much displeased at James and John,
42 Galwodd Iesu hwy ato ac meddai wrthynt, " Gwyddoch fod y rhai a ystyrir yn llywodraethwyr ar y Cenhedloedd yn arglwyddiaethu arnynt, a'u gwu375?r mawr hwy yn dangos eu hawdurdod drostynt.
42but Jesus having called them near, saith to them, `Ye have known that they who are considered to rule the nations do exercise lordship over them, and their great ones do exercise authority upon them;
43 Ond nid felly y mae yn eich plith chwi; yn hytrach, pwy bynnag sydd am fod yn fawr yn eich plith, rhaid iddo fod yn was i chwi,
43but not so shall it be among you; but whoever may will to become great among you, he shall be your minister,
44 a phwy bynnag sydd am fod yn flaenaf yn eich plith, rhaid iddo fod yn gaethwas i bawb.
44and whoever of you may will to become first, he shall be servant of all;
45 Oherwydd Mab y Dyn, yntau, ni ddaeth i gael ei wasanaethu ond i wasanaethu, ac i roi ei einioes yn bridwerth dros lawer."
45for even the Son of Man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.`
46 Daethant i Jericho. Ac fel yr oedd yn mynd allan o Jericho gyda'i ddisgyblion a chryn dyrfa, yr oedd mab Timeus, Bartimeus, cardotyn dall, yn eistedd ar fin y ffordd.
46And they come to Jericho, and as he is going forth from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, a son of Timaeus — Bartimaeus the blind — was sitting beside the way begging,
47 A phan glywodd mai Iesu o Nasareth ydoedd, dechreuodd weiddi a dweud, "Iesu, Fab Dafydd, trugarha wrthyf."
47and having heard that it is Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and to say, `The Son of David — Jesus! deal kindly with me;`
48 Ac yr oedd llawer yn ei geryddu ac yn dweud wrtho am dewi; ond yr oedd yntau'n gweiddi'n uwch fyth, "Fab Dafydd, trugarha wrthyf."
48and many were rebuking him, that he might keep silent, but the more abundantly he cried out, `Son of David, deal kindly with me.`
49 Safodd Iesu, a dywedodd, "Galwch arno." A dyma hwy'n galw ar y dyn dall ac yn dweud wrtho, "Cod dy galon a saf ar dy draed; y mae'n galw arnat."
49And Jesus having stood, he commanded him to be called, and they call the blind man, saying to him, `Take courage, rise, he doth call thee;`
50 Taflodd yntau ei fantell oddi arno, llamu ar ei draed a dod at Iesu.
50and he, having cast away his garment, having risen, did come unto Jesus.
51 Cyfarchodd Iesu ef a dweud, "Beth yr wyt ti am i mi ei wneud iti?" Ac meddai'r dyn dall wrtho, "Rabbwni, y mae arnaf eisiau cael fy ngolwg yn l."
51And answering, Jesus saith to him, `What wilt thou I may do to thee?` and the blind man said to him, `Rabboni, that I may see again;`
52 Dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "Dos, y mae dy ffydd wedi dy iachu di." A chafodd ei olwg yn l yn y fan, a dechreuodd ei ganlyn ef ar hyd y ffordd.
52and Jesus said to him, `Go, thy faith hath saved thee:` and immediately he saw again, and was following Jesus in the way.
