Young`s Literal Translation

Mark

14

1 Yr oedd y Pasg a gu373?yl y Bara Croyw ymhen deuddydd. Ac yr oedd y prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion yn ceisio modd i'w ddal trwy ddichell, a'i ladd.
1And the passover and the unleavened food were after two days, and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how, by guile, having taken hold of him, they might kill him;
2 Oherwydd dweud yr oeddent, "Nid yn ystod yr u373?yl, rhag bod cynnwrf ymhlith y bobl."
2and they said, `Not in the feast, lest there shall be a tumult of the people.`
3 A phan oedd ef ym Methania, wrth bryd bwyd yn nhu375? Simon y gwahanglwyfus, daeth gwraig a chanddi ffiol alabastr o ennaint drudfawr, nard pur; torrodd y ffiol a thywalltodd yr ennaint ar ei ben ef.
3And he, being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, at his reclining (at meat), there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, of spikenard, very precious, and having broken the alabaster box, did pour on his head;
4 Ac yr oedd rhai yn ddig ac yn dweud wrth ei gilydd, "I ba beth y bu'r gwastraff hwn ar yr ennaint?
4and there were certain much displeased within themselves, and saying, `For what hath this waste of the ointment been made?
5 Oherwydd gallesid gwerthu'r ennaint hwn am fwy na thri chant o ddarnau arian a'i roi i'r tlodion." Ac yr oeddent yn ei cheryddu.
5for this could have been sold for more than three hundred denaries, and given to the poor;` and they were murmuring at her.
6 Ond dywedodd Iesu, "Gadewch iddi; pam yr ydych yn ei phoeni? Gweithred brydferth a wnaeth hi i mi.
6And Jesus said, `Let her alone; why are ye giving her trouble? a good work she wrought on me;
7 Y mae'r tlodion gyda chwi bob amser, a gallwch wneud cymwynas hwy pa bryd bynnag y mynnwch; ond ni fyddaf fi gyda chwi bob amser.
7for the poor always ye have with you, and whenever ye may will ye are able to do them good, but me ye have not always;
8 A allodd hi, fe'i gwnaeth; achubodd y blaen i eneinio fy nghorff erbyn y gladdedigaeth.
8what she could she did, she anticipated to anoint my body for the embalming.
9 Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, pa le bynnag y pregethir yr Efengyl yn yr holl fyd, adroddir hefyd yr hyn a wnaeth hon, er cof amdani."
9Verily I say to you, wherever this good news may be proclaimed in the whole world, what also this woman did shall be spoken of — for a memorial of her.`
10 Yna aeth Jwdas Iscariot, hwnnw oedd yn un o'r Deuddeg, at y prif offeiriaid i'w fradychu ef iddynt.
10And Judas the Iscariot, one of the twelve, went away unto the chief priests that he might deliver him up to them,
11 Pan glywsant, yr oeddent yn llawen, ac addawsant roi arian iddo. A dechreuodd geisio cyfle i'w fradychu ef.
11and having heard, they were glad, and promised to give him money, and he was seeking how, conveniently, he might deliver him up.
12 Ar ddydd cyntaf gu373?yl y Bara Croyw, pan leddid oen y Pasg, dywedodd ei ddisgyblion wrtho, "I ble yr wyt ti am inni fynd i baratoi i ti, i fwyta gwledd y Pasg?"
12And the first day of the unleavened food, when they were killing the passover, his disciples say to him, `Where wilt thou, [that,] having gone, we may prepare, that thou mayest eat the passover?`
13 Ac anfonodd ddau o'i ddisgyblion, ac meddai wrthynt, "Ewch i'r ddinas, ac fe ddaw dyn i'ch cyfarfod, yn cario stenaid o ddu373?r. Dilynwch ef,
13And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith to them, `Go ye away to the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water, follow him;
14 a dywedwch wrth u373?r y tu375? lle'r  i mewn, 'Y mae'r Athro'n gofyn, "Ble mae f'ystafell, lle yr wyf i fwyta gwledd y Pasg gyda'm disgyblion?"'
14and wherever he may go in, say ye to the master of the house — The Teacher saith, Where is the guest-chamber, where the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?
15 Ac fe ddengys ef i chwi oruwchystafell fawr wedi ei threfnu'n barod; yno paratowch i ni."
15and he will shew you a large upper room, furnished, prepared — there make ready for us.`
16 Aeth y disgyblion ymaith, a daethant i'r ddinas a chael fel yr oedd ef wedi dweud wrthynt, a pharatoesant wledd y Pasg.
16And his disciples went forth, and came to the city, and found as he said to them, and they made ready the passover.
17 Gyda'r nos daeth yno gyda'r Deuddeg.
17And evening having come, he cometh with the twelve,
18 Ac fel yr oeddent wrth y bwrdd yn bwyta, dywedodd Iesu, "Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych y bydd i un ohonoch fy mradychu i, un sy'n bwyta gyda mi."
18and as they are reclining, and eating, Jesus said, `Verily I say to you — one of you, who is eating with me — shall deliver me up.`
19 Dechreusant dristu a dweud wrtho y naill ar l y llall, "Nid myfi?"
19And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him, one by one, `Is it I?` and another, `Is it I?`
20 Dywedodd yntau wrthynt, "Un o'r Deuddeg, un sy'n gwlychu ei fara gyda mi yn y ddysgl.
20And he answering said to them, `One of the twelve who is dipping with me in the dish;
21 Y mae Mab y Dyn yn wir yn ymadael, fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig amdano, ond gwae'r dyn hwnnw y bradychir Mab y Dyn ganddo! Da fuasai i'r dyn hwnnw petai heb ei eni."
21the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up; good were it to him if that man had not been born.`
22 Ac wrth iddynt fwyta, cymerodd fara, ac wedi bendithio fe'i torrodd a'i roi iddynt, a dweud, "Cymerwch; hwn yw fy nghorff."
22And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, brake, and gave to them, and said, `Take, eat; this is my body.`
23 A chymerodd gwpan, ac wedi diolch fe'i rhoddodd iddynt, ac yfodd pawb ohono.
23And having taken the cup, having given thanks, he gave to them, and they drank of it — all;
24 A dywedodd wrthynt, "Hwn yw fy ngwaed i, gwaed y cyfamod, sy'n cael ei dywallt er mwyn llawer.
24and he said to them, `This is my blood of the new covenant, which for many is being poured out;
25 Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych nad yfaf byth mwy o ffrwyth y winwydden hyd y dydd hwnnw pan yfaf ef yn newydd yn nheyrnas Dduw."
25verily I say to you, that no more may I drink of the produce of the vine till that day when I may drink it new in the reign of God.`
26 Ac wedi iddynt ganu emyn, aethant allan i Fynydd yr Olewydd.
26And having sung an hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives,
27 A dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Fe ddaw cwymp i bob un ohonoch. Oherwydd y mae'n ysgrifenedig : 'Trawaf y bugail, a gwasgerir y defaid.'
27and Jesus saith to them — `All ye shall be stumbled at me this night, because it hath been written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad,
28 Ond wedi i mi gael fy nghyfodi af o'ch blaen chwi i Galilea."
28but after my having risen I will go before you to Galilee.`
29 Meddai Pedr wrtho, "Er iddynt gwympo bob un, ni wnaf fi."
29And Peter said to him, `And if all shall be stumbled, yet not I;`
30 Ac meddai Iesu wrtho, "Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthyt y bydd i ti heno nesaf, cyn i'r ceiliog ganu ddwywaith, fy ngwadu i deirgwaith."
30And Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, that to-day, this night, before a cock shall crow twice, thrice thou shalt deny me.`
31 Ond taerai yntau'n fwy byth, "Petai'n rhaid imi farw gyda thi, ni'th wadaf byth." A'r un modd yr oeddent yn dweud i gyd.
31And he spake the more vehemently, `If it may be necessary for me to die with thee — I will in nowise deny thee;` and in like manner also said they all.
32 Daethant i le o'r enw Gethsemane, ac meddai ef wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Eisteddwch yma tra byddaf yn gweddo."
32And they come to a spot, the name of which [is] Gethsemane, and he saith to his disciples, `Sit ye here till I may pray;`
33 Ac fe gymerodd gydag ef Pedr ac Iago ac Ioan, a dechreuodd deimlo arswyd a thrallod dwys,
33and he taketh Peter, and James, and John with him, and began to be amazed, and to be very heavy,
34 ac meddai wrthynt, "Y mae f'enaid yn drist iawn hyd at farw. Arhoswch yma a gwyliwch."
34and he saith to them, `Exceeding sorrowful is my soul — to death; remain here, and watch.`
35 Aeth ymlaen ychydig, a syrthiodd ar y ddaear a gweddo ar i'r awr, petai'n bosibl, fynd heibio iddo.
35And having gone forward a little, he fell upon the earth, and was praying, that, if it be possible the hour may pass from him,
36 "Abba! Dad!" meddai, "y mae pob peth yn bosibl i ti. Cymer y cwpan hwn oddi wrthyf. Eithr nid yr hyn a fynnaf fi, ond yr hyn a fynni di."
36and he said, `Abba, Father; all things are possible to Thee; make this cup pass from me; but, not what I will, but what Thou.`
37 Daeth yn l a'u cael hwy'n cysgu, ac meddai wrth Pedr, "Simon, ai cysgu yr wyt ti? Oni ellaist wylio am un awr?
37And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith to Peter, `Simon, thou dost sleep! thou wast not able to watch one hour!
38 Gwyliwch, a gweddwch na ddewch i gael eich profi. Y mae'r ysbryd yn barod ond y cnawd yn wan."
38Watch ye and pray, that ye may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.`
39 Aeth ymaith drachefn a gweddo, gan lefaru'r un geiriau.
39And again having gone away, he prayed, the same word saying;
40 A phan ddaeth yn l fe'u cafodd hwy'n cysgu eto, oherwydd yr oedd eu llygaid yn drwm; ac ni wyddent beth i'w ddweud wrtho.
40and having returned, he found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy, and they had not known what they might answer him.
41 Daeth y drydedd waith, a dweud wrthynt, "A ydych yn dal i gysgu a gorffwys? Dyna ddigon. Daeth yr awr; dyma Fab y Dyn yn cael ei fradychu i ddwylo pechaduriaid.
41And he cometh the third time, and saith to them, `Sleep on henceforth, and rest — it is over; the hour did come; lo, the Son of Man is delivered up to the hands of the sinful;
42 Codwch ac awn. Dyma fy mradychwr yn agosu."
42rise, we may go, lo, he who is delivering me up hath come nigh.`
43 Ac yna, tra oedd yn dal i siarad, dyma Jwdas, un o'r Deuddeg, yn cyrraedd, a chydag ef dyrfa yn dwyn cleddyfau a phastynau, wedi eu hanfon gan y prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion a'r henuriaid.
43And immediately — while he is yet speaking — cometh near Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude, with swords and sticks, from the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;
44 Yr oedd ei fradychwr wedi rhoi arwydd iddynt gan ddweud, "Yr un a gusanaf yw'r dyn; daliwch ef a mynd ag ef ymaith yn ddiogel."
44and he who is delivering him up had given a token to them, saying, `Whomsoever I shall kiss, he it is, lay hold on him, and lead him away safely,`
45 Ac yn union wedi cyrraedd, aeth ato ef a dweud, "Rabbi," a chusanodd ef.
45and having come, immediately, having gone near him, he saith, `Rabbi, Rabbi,` and kissed him.
46 Rhoesant hwythau eu dwylo arno a'i ddal.
46And they laid on him their hands, and kept hold on him;
47 Tynnodd rhywun o blith y rhai oedd yn sefyll gerllaw gleddyf, a thrawodd was yr archoffeiriad a thorri ei glust i ffwrdd.
47and a certain one of those standing by, having drawn the sword, struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his ear.
48 A dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Ai fel at leidr, chleddyfau a phastynau, y daethoch allan i'm dal i?
48And Jesus answering said to them, `As against a robber ye came out, with swords and sticks, to take me!
49 Yr oeddwn gyda chwi beunydd, yn dysgu yn y deml, ac ni ddaliasoch fi. Ond cyflawner yr Ysgrythurau."
49daily I was with you in the temple teaching, and ye did not lay hold on me — but that the Writings may be fulfilled.`
50 A gadawodd y disgyblion ef bob un, a ffoi.
50And having left him they all fled;
51 Ac yr oedd rhyw lanc yn ei ganlyn ef, yn gwisgo darn o liain dros ei gorff noeth. Cydiasant ynddo ef,
51and a certain young man was following him, having put a linen cloth about [his] naked body, and the young men lay hold on him,
52 ond dihangodd, gan adael y lliain a ffoi'n noeth.
52and he, having left the linen cloth, did flee from them naked.
53 Aethant Iesu ymaith at yr archoffeiriad, a daeth y prif offeiriaid oll a'r henuriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion ynghyd.
53And they led away Jesus unto the chief priest, and come together to him do all the chief priests, and the elders, and the scribes;
54 Canlynodd Pedr ef o hirbell, bob cam i mewn i gyntedd yr archoffeiriad, ac yr oedd yn eistedd gyda'r gwasanaethwyr, yn ymdwymo wrth y tn.
54and Peter afar off did follow him, to the inside of the hall of the chief priest, and he was sitting with the officers, and warming himself near the fire.
55 Yr oedd y prif offeiriaid a'r holl Sanhedrin yn ceisio tystiolaeth yn erbyn Iesu, i'w roi i farwolaeth, ond yn methu cael dim.
55And the chief priests and all the sanhedrim were seeking against Jesus testimony — to put him to death, and they were not finding,
56 Oherwydd yr oedd llawer yn rhoi camdystiolaeth yn ei erbyn, ond nid oedd eu tystiolaeth yn gyson.
56for many were bearing false testimony against him, and their testimonies were not alike.
57 Cododd rhai a chamdystio yn ei erbyn,
57And certain having risen up, were bearing false testimony against him, saying —
58 "Clywsom ni ef yn dweud, 'Mi fwriaf i lawr y deml hon o waith llaw, ac mewn tridiau mi adeiladaf un arall heb fod o waith llaw.'"
58`We heard him saying — I will throw down this sanctuary made with hands, and by three days, another made without hands I will build;`
59 Ond hyd yn oed felly nid oedd eu tystiolaeth yn gyson.
59and neither so was their testimony alike.
60 Yna cododd yr archoffeiriad ar ei draed yn y canol, a holodd Iesu: "Onid atebi ddim? Beth am dystiolaeth y rhain yn dy erbyn?"
60And the chief priest, having risen up in the midst, questioned Jesus, saying, `Thou dost not answer anything! what do these testify against thee?`
61 Parhaodd yntau'n fud, heb ateb dim. Holodd yr archoffeiriad ef drachefn, ac meddai wrtho, "Ai ti yw'r Meseia, Mab y Bendigedig?"
61and he was keeping silent, and did not answer anything. Again the chief priest was questioning him, and saith to him, `Art thou the Christ — the Son of the Blessed?`
62 Dywedodd Iesu, "Myfi yw, 'ac fe welwch Fab y Dyn yn eistedd ar ddeheulaw'r Gallu ac yn dyfod gyda chymylau'r nef.'"
62and Jesus said, `I am; and ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming with the clouds, of the heaven.`
63 Yna rhwygodd yr archoffeiriad ei ddillad a dweud, "Pa raid i ni wrth dystion bellach?
63And the chief priest, having rent his garments, saith, `What need have we yet of witnesses?
64 Clywsoch ei gabledd; sut y barnwch chwi?" A'u dedfryd gytn arno oedd ei fod yn haeddu marwolaeth.
64Ye heard the evil speaking, what appeareth to you?` and they all condemned him to be worthy of death,
65 A dechreuodd rhai boeri arno a rhoi gorchudd ar ei wyneb, a'i gernodio a dweud wrtho, "Proffwyda." Ac ymosododd y gwasanaethwyr arno dyrnodiau.
65and certain began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say to him, `Prophesy;` and the officers were striking him with their palms.
66 Yr oedd Pedr islaw yn y cyntedd. Daeth un o forynion yr archoffeiriad,
66And Peter being in the hall beneath, there doth come one of the maids of the chief priest,
67 a phan welodd Pedr yn ymdwymo edrychodd arno ac meddai, "Yr oeddit tithau hefyd gyda'r Nasaread, Iesu."
67and having seen Peter warming himself, having looked on him, she said, `And thou wast with Jesus of Nazareth!`
68 Ond gwadodd ef a dweud, "Nid wyf yn gwybod nac yn deall am beth yr wyt ti'n sn." Ac aeth allan i'r porth.
68and he denied, saying, `I have not known [him], neither do I understand what thou sayest;` and he went forth without to the porch, and a cock crew.
69 Gwelodd y forwyn ef, a dechreuodd ddweud wedyn wrth y rhai oedd yn sefyll yn ymyl, "Y mae hwn yn un ohonynt."
69And the maid having seen him again, began to say to those standing near — `This is of them;`
70 Gwadodd yntau drachefn. Ymhen ychydig, dyma'r rhai oedd yn sefyll yn ymyl yn dweud wrth Pedr, "Yr wyt yn wir yn un ohonynt, achos Galilead wyt ti."
70and he was again denying. And after a little again, those standing near said to Peter, `Truly thou art of them, for thou also art a Galilean, and thy speech is alike;`
71 Dechreuodd yntau regi a thyngu: "Nid wyf yn adnabod y dyn hwn yr ydych yn sn amdano."
71and he began to anathematize, and to swear — `I have not known this man of whom ye speak;`
72 Ac yna canodd y ceiliog yr ail waith. Cofiodd Pedr ymadrodd Iesu wrtho, fel y dywedodd, "Cyn i'r ceiliog ganu ddwywaith, fe'm gwedi i deirgwaith." A thorrodd i wylo.
72and a second time a cock crew, and Peter remembered the saying that Jesus said to him — `Before a cock crow twice, thou mayest deny me thrice;` and having thought thereon — he was weeping.
