¹ Os bydd dyn wedi cymryd gwraig a'i phriodi, a hithau wedyn heb fod yn ei fodloni am iddo gael rhywbeth anweddus ynddi, yna y mae i ysgrifennu llythyr ysgar iddi, a'i roi yn ei llaw a'i hanfon o'i du375?.

¹When a man taketh a wife, and marrieth her, then it shall be, if she find no favor in his eyes, because he hath found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

² Wedi iddi adael ei du375?, os daw yn wraig i rywun arall,

²And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's [wife].

³ a hwnnw wedyn yn ei chas�u ac yn ysgrifennu llythyr ysgar iddi, a'i roi yn ei llaw a'i hanfon o'i du375?, neu os bydd yr ail u373?r yn marw,

³And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, who took her to be his wife;

⁴ yna ni all ei phriod cyntaf, a oedd wedi ei hysgaru, ei hailbriodi wedi iddi gael ei halogi. Byddai hynny'n beth ffiaidd gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, ac nid ydych i ddwyn pechod ar y wlad y mae'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn ei rhoi'n feddiant ichwi.

⁴her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Jehovah: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

⁵ Os bydd dyn newydd briodi, nid yw i fynd i ffwrdd gyda'r fyddin nac ar ddyletswyddau eraill; y mae'n rhydd i aros gartref am flwyddyn gron a bod yn llawen gyda'i wraig.

⁵When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not go out in the host, neither shall he be charged with any business: he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he hath taken.

⁶ Nid yw neb i gymryd melin na maen uchaf melin yn wystl, oherwydd byddai'n cymryd bywoliaeth rhywun yn wystl.

⁶No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone to pledge; for he taketh [a man's] life to pledge.

⁷ Os ceir bod rhywun wedi herwgipio un o'i gydwladwyr yn Israel, a'i amddifadu o'i hawliau trwy ei werthu, yna y mae'r herwgipiwr hwnnw i farw; felly y byddi'n dileu'r drwg o'ch mysg.

⁷If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

⁸ Mewn achos o wahanglwyf, gofalwch wneud popeth yn �l fel y bydd yr offeiriaid o Lefiaid yn eich cyfarwyddo; gofalwch wneud yn union fel y gorchmynnais i iddynt.

⁸Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

⁹ Cofiwch yr hyn a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw i Miriam wrth ichwi ddod o'r Aifft.

⁹Remember what Jehovah thy God did unto Miriam, by the way as ye came forth out of Egypt.

¹⁰ Os byddi'n rhoi benthyg unrhyw beth i'th gymydog, paid � mynd i mewn i'w du375? i gymryd ei wystl.

¹⁰When thou dost lend thy neighbor any manner of loan, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

¹¹ Saf y tu allan, a gad i'r sawl yr wyt yn rhoi benthyg iddo ddod �'i wystl allan atat.

¹¹Thou shalt stand without, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring forth the pledge without unto thee.

¹² Os yw'n dlawd, paid � chysgu yn y dilledyn a roddodd yn wystl;

¹²And if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge;

¹³ gofala ei roi'n �l iddo cyn machlud haul, er mwyn iddo gysgu yn ei fantell a'th fendithio. Cyfrifir hyn iti'n gyfiawnder gerbron yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw.

¹³thou shalt surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before Jehovah thy God.

¹⁴ Paid � gorthrymu gwas cyflog anghenus a thlawd, boed gydwladwr neu ddieithryn yn un o drefi dy wlad.

¹⁴Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy sojourners that are in thy land within thy gates:

¹⁵ Rho ei gyflog iddo bob dydd cyn i'r haul fachlud, rhag iddo achwyn arnat wrth yr ARGLWYDD ac i ti dy gael yn euog o bechod, oherwydd y mae'n anghenus ac yn dibynnu arno.

¹⁵in his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto Jehovah, and it be sin unto thee.

¹⁶ Nid yw rhieni i'w rhoi i farwolaeth o achos eu plant, na phlant o achos eu rhieni; am ei bechod ei hun y rhoddir rhywun i farwolaeth.

¹⁶The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

¹⁷ Nid wyt i wyro barn yn achos dieithryn nac amddifad, nac i gymryd dilledyn y weddw fel gwystl.

¹⁷Thou shalt not wrest the justice [due] to the sojourner, [or] to the fatherless, nor take the widow's raiment to pledge;

¹⁸ Cofia mai caethwas fuost yn yr Aifft, ac i'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw dy waredu oddi yno; dyna pam yr wyf yn gorchymyn iti wneud hyn.

¹⁸but thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and Jehovah thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

¹⁹ Pan fyddi wedi medi dy gynhaeaf ond wedi anghofio ysgub yn y maes, paid � throi'n �l i'w chyrchu; gad hi yno ar gyfer y dieithryn, yr amddifad a'r weddw, er mwyn i'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw dy fendithio yn holl waith dy ddwylo.

¹⁹When thou reapest thy harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the sojourner, for the fatherless, and for the widow; that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all the work of thy hands.

²⁰ Pan fyddi'n curo'r ffrwyth oddi ar dy olewydden, paid � lloffa wedyn; gad y gweddill yno ar gyfer y dieithryn, yr amddifad a'r weddw.

²⁰When thou beatest thine olive-tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the sojourner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

²¹ Pan fyddi'n casglu ffrwyth dy winllan, paid � lloffa wedyn; gad y gweddill yno ar gyfer y dieithryn, yr amddifad a'r weddw.

²¹When thou gatherest [the grapes of] thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it after thee: it shall be for the sojourner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

²² Cofia mai caethwas fuost yng ngwlad yr Aifft; dyna pam yr wyf yn gorchymyn iti wneud hyn.

²²And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
