¹ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses: "Dos at Pharo a dywed wrtho, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: Gollwng fy mhobl yn rhydd er mwyn iddynt fy addoli;

¹And Jehovah spake unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

² os gwrthodi eu rhyddhau, byddaf yn taro dy holl dir � phla o lyffaint.

²And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

³ Bydd y Neil yn heigio o lyffaint, a byddant yn dringo i fyny i'th du375? ac i'th ystafell wely; byddant yn dringo ar dy wely ac i gartrefi dy weision a'th bobl, i'th boptai ac i'th gafnau tylino.

³and the river shall swarm with frogs, which shall go up and come into thy house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading-troughs:

⁴ Bydd y llyffaint yn dringo drosot ti a thros dy bobl a'th weision i gyd.'"

⁴and the frogs shall come up both upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

⁵ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dywed wrth Aaron, 'Estyn dy law a'th wialen dros y ffrydiau, yr afonydd a'r llynnoedd, a gwna i lyffaint ddringo i fyny dros dir yr Aifft.'"

⁵And Jehovah said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thy hand with thy rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

⁶ Felly estynnodd Aaron ei law dros ddyfroedd yr Aifft, a dringodd y llyffaint i fyny nes gorchuddio'r tir.

⁶And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

⁷ Ond trwy eu gallu cyfrin yr oedd y swynwyr hefyd yn medru gwneud i lyffaint ddringo i fyny dros dir yr Aifft.

⁷And the magicians did in like manner with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

⁸ Yna galwodd Pharo am Moses ac Aaron, a dweud, "Gwedd�wch ar i'r ARGLWYDD gymryd y llyffaint ymaith oddi wrthyf fi a'm pobl, ac fe ryddhaf finnau eich pobl er mwyn iddynt aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD."

⁸Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Jehovah, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice unto Jehovah.

⁹ Dywedodd Moses wrth Pharo, "Gad imi wybod pryd yr wyf i wedd�o drosot ti a'th weision a'th bobl er mwyn symud y llyffaint oddi wrthyt ti ac o'th dai, a'u gadael yn y Neil yn unig." Meddai yntau, "Yfory."

⁹And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Have thou this glory over me: against what time shall I entreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, that the frogs be destroyed from thee and thy houses, and remain in the river only?

¹⁰ Dywedodd Moses, "Fel y mynni di; cei wybod wedyn nad oes neb fel yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw ni.

¹⁰And he said, Against to-morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word; that thou mayest know that there is none like unto Jehovah our God.

¹¹ Bydd y llyffaint yn ymadael � thi a'th dai, ac �'th weision a'th bobl, ac ni cheir hwy yn unman ond yn y Neil."

¹¹And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.

¹² Yna aeth Moses ac Aaron allan oddi wrth Pharo, a galwodd Moses ar yr ARGLWYDD ynglu375?n �'r llyffaint a ddygodd ar Pharo.

¹²And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto Jehovah concerning the frogs which he had brought upon Pharaoh.

¹³ Gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD yr hyn yr oedd Moses yn ei ddymuno, a bu farw'r llyffaint yn y tai a'r ffermydd a'r meysydd.

¹³And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.

¹⁴ Yna casglwyd hwy ynghyd yn bentyrrau, nes bod y wlad yn drewi.

¹⁴And they gathered them together in heaps; and the land stank.

¹⁵ Pan welodd Pharo ei fod wedi cael ymwared ohonynt, caledodd ei galon a gwrthododd wrando ar Moses ac Aaron, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud.

¹⁵But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them, as Jehovah had spoken.

¹⁶ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dywed wrth Aaron, 'Estyn dy wialen a tharo llwch y ddaear, ac fe dry'n llau trwy holl wlad yr Aifft.'"

¹⁶And Jehovah said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the earth, that is may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

¹⁷ Gwnaethant hynny; estynnodd Aaron ei law allan, a tharo llwch y ddaear �'i wialen, a throes y llwch yn llau ar ddyn ac anifail; trodd holl lwch y ddaear yn llau trwy wlad yr Aifft i gyd.

¹⁷And they did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and there were lice upon man, and upon beast; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

¹⁸ Ceisiodd y swynwyr hefyd ddwyn llau allan trwy eu gallu cyfrin, ond nid oeddent yn medru. Yr oedd y llau ar ddyn ac anifail.

¹⁸And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: and there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

¹⁹ Dywedodd y swynwyr wrth Pharo, "Trwy fys Duw y digwyddodd hyn." Ond yr oedd calon Pharo wedi caledu, ac nid oedd am wrando ar Moses ac Aaron, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud.

¹⁹Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.

²⁰ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Cod yn gynnar yn y bore i gyfarfod � Pharo wrth iddo fynd tua'r afon, a dywed wrtho, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: Gollwng fy mhobl yn rhydd, er mwyn iddynt fy addoli;

²⁰And Jehovah said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

²¹ oherwydd, os gwrthodi eu rhyddhau, byddaf yn anfon haid o bryfed arnat ti, dy weision, dy bobl a'th dai. Bydd tai'r Eifftiaid a'r tir danynt yn orlawn o bryfed.

²¹Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon they servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

²² Ond ar y dydd hwnnw byddaf yn neilltuo gwlad Gosen, lle mae fy mhobl yn byw, ac ni fydd haid o bryfed yno; felly, byddi'n gwybod fy mod i, yr ARGLWYDD, yma yn y wlad.

²²And I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am Jehovah in the midst of the earth.

²³ Gan hynny, byddaf yn gwahaniaethu rhwng fy mhobl i a'th bobl di. Bydd yr arwydd hwn yn ymddangos yfory.'"

²³And I will put a division between my people and thy people: by to-morrow shall this sign be.

²⁴ Gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD hynny; daeth haid enfawr o bryfed i du375? Pharo ac i dai ei weision, a difethwyd holl dir gwlad yr Aifft gan y pryfed.

²⁴And Jehovah did so; and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses: and in all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.

²⁵ Yna galwodd Pharo am Moses ac Aaron a dweud, "Ewch i aberthu i'ch Duw yma yn y wlad."

²⁵And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

²⁶ Ond dywedodd Moses, "Ni fyddai'n briodol inni wneud hynny, oherwydd byddwn yn aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD ein Duw bethau sy'n ffiaidd i'r Eifftiaid; ac os aberthwn yn eu gu373?ydd bethau sy'n ffiaidd i'r Eifftiaid, oni fyddant yn ein llabyddio?

²⁶And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Jehovah our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

²⁷ Rhaid inni fynd daith dridiau i'r anialwch i aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD ein Duw, fel y mae ef yn gorchymyn inni."

²⁷We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, as he shall command us.

²⁸ Atebodd Pharo, "Fe adawaf i chwi fynd i aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn yr anialwch, ond peidiwch � mynd yn rhy bell. Yn awr, gwedd�wch drosof."

²⁸And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to Jehovah your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: entreat for me.

²⁹ Yna dywedodd Moses, "Fe af allan oddi wrthyt a gwedd�o ar yr ARGLWYDD i'r haid o bryfed symud yfory oddi wrth Pharo a'i weision a'i bobl; ond peidied Pharo � cheisio twyllo eto trwy wrthod rhyddhau'r bobl i aberthu i'r ARGLWYDD."

²⁹And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will entreat Jehovah that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to-morrow: only let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Jehovah.

³⁰ Felly aeth Moses ymaith o u373?ydd Pharo i wedd�o ar yr ARGLWYDD.

³⁰And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and entreated Jehovah.

³¹ Gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD yr hyn yr oedd Moses yn ei ddymuno, a symudodd yr haid o bryfed oddi wrth Pharo ac oddi wrth ei weision a'i bobl; ni adawyd yr un ar �l.

³¹And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

³² Ond caledodd Pharo ei galon y tro hwn eto, ac ni ollyngodd y bobl yn rhydd.

³²And Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and he did not let the people go.
