4and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;
5 Asareia fab Nathan yn bennaeth y rhaglawiaid; Sabud fab Nathan, yr offeiriad, yn gyfaill y brenin;
5and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the superintendents; and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, the king's friend;
6 Ahisar yn arolygwr y tu375?; Adoniram fab Abda yn swyddog llafur gorfod.
6and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the levy-service.
7 Yr oedd gan Solomon ddeuddeg rhaglaw yn holl Israel yn gofalu am ymborth y brenin a'i du375?; am fis yn y flwyddyn y gofalai pob un am yr ymborth.
7And Solomon had twelve superintendents over all Israel; and they provided food for the king and his household: each man his month in the year had to make provision.
8 Dyma'u henwau: Ben-hur yn ucheldir Effraim;
8And these are their names: Ben-Hur, in mount Ephraim.
9 Ben-decar yn Macas a Saalbim a Beth-semes ac Elon-beth-hanan;
9Ben-Deker in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-Beth-hanan.
10 Ben-hesed yn Aruboth (ganddo ef yr oedd Socho a holl diriogaeth Heffer);
10Ben-Hesed, in Arubboth; he had Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher.
11 Ben-abinadab yn holl Naffath-dor (Taffath, merch Solomon, oedd ei wraig);
11Ben-Abinadab had all the upland of Dor; Taphath the daughter of Solomon was his wife.
12 Baana fab Ahilud yn Taanach a Megido a holl Beth-sean, sydd gerllaw Sartana, islaw Jesreel, o Beth-sean hyd Abel-mehola a thu hwnt i Jocmeam;
12Baana the son of Ahilud had Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zaretan beneath Jizreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-Meholah, as far as beyond Jokneam.
13 Ben-geber yn Ramoth-gilead (ganddo ef yr oedd Hafoth-jair fab Manasse, sydd yn Gilead, a Hebel-argob, sydd yn Basan � trigain o ddinasoedd mawr � chaerau a barrau pres);
13Ben-Geber, in Ramoth-Gilead; he had the villages of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; he had the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and bars of bronze.
14 Ahinadab fab Ido yn Mahanaim;
14Ahinadab the son of Iddo, at Mahanaim.
15 Ahimaas yn Nafftali (cymerodd ef Basemath, merch Solomon, yn wraig);
15Ahimaaz, in Nephtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon as wife.
16 Baana fab Jusai yn Aser ac Aloth;
16Baanah the son of Hushai, in Asher and in Aloth.
17 Jehosaffat fab Parus yn Issachar;
17Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar.
18 Simei fab Ela yn Benjamin;
18Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin.
19 Geber fab Uri yn nhiriogaeth Gilead (gwlad Sihon brenin yr Amoriaid ac Og brenin Basan). Yr oedd un prif raglaw dros y wlad.
19Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the land of Sihon the king of the Amorites, and of Og the king of Bashan; and [he was] the only superintendent that was in the land.
20 Yr oedd Jwda ac Israel mor niferus �'r tywod ar lan y m�r; yr oeddent yn bwyta ac yn yfed yn llawen.
20Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.
21 Yr oedd Solomon yn llywodraethu ar yr holl deyrnasoedd o afon Ewffrates drwy wlad Philistia at derfyn yr Aifft, a hwythau'n dwyn teyrnged ac yn gwasanaethu Solomon holl ddyddiau ei fywyd.
21And Solomon ruled over all kingdoms from the river to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22 Ymborth beunyddiol Solomon oedd deg corus ar hugain o beilliaid a thrigain corus o flawd;
22And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of meal,
23 deg o ychen pasgedig, ac ugain o ychen o'r borfa, a chant o ddefaid, heblaw ceirw, gafrewigod, ewigod, a dofednod breision.
23ten fatted oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and gazelles, and fallow-deer, and fatted fowl.
24 Yr oedd yn llywodraethu'n frenin dros y gwledydd i'r gorllewin o'r Ewffrates, o Tiffsa hyd Gasa, dros yr holl frenhinoedd i'r gorllewin o'r afon.
24For he had dominion over all on this side the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gazah, over all the kings on this side the river; and he had peace on all sides round about.
25 Cafodd heddwch ar bob tu, ac yr oedd Jwda ac Israel yn trigo'n ddiogel, holl ddyddiau Solomon, pob un dan ei winwydden a'i ffigysbren, o Dan hyd Beerseba.
25And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.
26 Yr oedd gan Solomon ddeugain mil o bresebau ar gyfer ei geffylau-cerbyd, a deuddeng mil o feirch.
26And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27 Gofalai'r rhaglawiaid hynny, pob un yn ei fis, am ymborth ar gyfer y Brenin Solomon a phawb a dd�i at ei fwrdd; nid oedd dim yn eisiau.
27And those officers provided food for king Solomon, and for all who came to king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they let nothing be wanting.
28 Dygent hefyd haidd a gwellt i'r ceffylau a'r meirch cyflym, i'r man lle'r oedd i fod, pob un yn �l a ddisgwylid ganddo.
28And the barley, and the straw for the horses and coursers, they brought to the place where [the superintendents] were, every man according to his charge.
29 Rhoddodd Duw i Solomon ddoeth-ineb a deall helaeth, ac amgyffrediad mor eang � thraeth y m�r.
29And God gave Solomon wisdom and very great understanding and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.
30 Rhagorodd doethineb Solomon ar ddoethineb holl bobl y Dwyrain a'r Aifft;
30And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the sons of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 yr oedd yn ddoethach nag unrhyw un, hyd yn oed Ethan yr Esrahiad, neu Heman, Calcol a Darda, meibion Mahol; yr oedd ei fri wedi ymledu trwy'r holl genhedloedd oddi amgylch.
31For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations round about.
32 Llefarodd dair mil o ddiarhebion, ac yr oedd ei ganeuon yn rhifo mil a phump.
32And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.
33 Traethodd am brennau, o'r cedrwydd sydd yn Lebanon hyd yr isop sy'n tyfu o'r pared; hefyd am anifeiliaid ac ehediaid, am ymlusgiaid a physgod.
33And he spoke of the trees, from the cedar-tree that is on Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of cattle, and of fowls, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34 Daethant o bob cenedl i wrando doethineb Solomon, ac o blith holl frenhinoedd y ddaear a glywodd am ei ddoethineb.
34And there came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
