2 Chronicles

31

1 Pan ddaeth hyn i ben, aeth yr holl Israeliaid oedd yn bresennol allan i ddinasoedd Jwda i ddryllio'r colofnau, torri'r prennau Asera, a distrywio'r uchelfeydd a'r allorau trwy holl Jwda, Benjamin, Effraim a Manasse. Ar l eu difa'n llwyr dychwelodd yr holl Israeliaid i'w dinasoedd, pob un i'w gartref ei hun.
1And when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke the columns, and hewed down the Asherahs, and demolished the high places and the altars in all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. And all the children of Israel returned every man to his possession, into their cities.
2 Trefnodd Heseceia yr offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid yn ddosbarthiadau ar gyfer eu gwasanaeth; yr oedd pob offeiriad a Lefiad yn gyfrifol am y poethoffrwm a'r heddoffrymau, ac yr oeddent i weini a rhoi diolch a moliannu ym mhyrth gwersylloedd yr ARGLWYDD.
2And Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests, and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, as well the priests as the Levites, for burnt-offerings and for peace-offerings, to serve and to give thanks and to praise in the gates of the courts of Jehovah.
3 Cyfrannodd y brenin o'i olud ei hun tuag at y poethoffrymau, sef at boethoffrymau'r bore a'r hwyr a phoethoffrymau'r Sabothau, y newydd-loerau a'r gwyliau penodedig, fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig yng nghyfraith yr ARGLWYDD.
3And [he ordered] that the king's portion [should be taken] from his substance for the burnt-offerings: for the morning and evening burnt-offerings, for the burnt-offerings of the sabbaths, and of the new moons, and of the set feasts, as it is written in the law of Jehovah.
4 Gorchmynnodd i'r bobl oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem roi i'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid eu cyfran, er mwyn iddynt gadw cyfraith yr ARGLWYDD yn well.
4And he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of Jehovah.
5 Pan gyhoeddwyd hyn, daeth yr Israeliaid llawer o flaenffrwyth u375?d, gwin, olew, ml a holl gnwd y maes; daethant degwm llawn o bopeth.
5And as soon as the commandment was published, the children of Israel gave in abundance the firstfruits of corn, new wine and oil and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of all [things].
6 Daeth pobl Israel a Jwda oedd yn byw yn ninasoedd Jwda degwm o wartheg a defaid, ac o'r pethau cysegredig a gysegrwyd i'r ARGLWYDD eu Duw, a'u gosod yn bentyrrau.
6And the children of Israel and of Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to Jehovah their God, and laid them by heaps.
7 Dechreusant godi'r pentyrrau yn y trydydd mis, a'u gorffen yn y seithfed mis.
7In the third month they began to lay the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
8 Pan ddaeth Heseceia a'i swyddogion a gweld y pentyrrau, bendithiasant yr ARGLWYDD a'i bobl Israel.
8And Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, and they blessed Jehovah, and his people Israel.
9 Pan ofynnodd Heseceia i'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid ynglu375?n 'r pentyrrau,
9And Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10 dywedodd Asareia yr archoffeiriad o du375? Sadoc wrtho, "Er pan ddechreuodd y bobl ddod chyfraniadau i du375?'r ARGLWYDD, bwytasom a chawsom ein digoni, ac y mae llawer yn weddill, oherwydd bendithiodd yr ARGLWYDD ei bobl; dyna pam y mae cymaint ar l fel hyn."
10And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok spoke to him and said, Since they began to bring the heave-offerings into the house of Jehovah, we have eaten and been satisfied and have left plenty; for Jehovah has blessed his people; and what is left is this great store.
11 Gorchmynnodd Heseceia baratoi ystordai yn nhu375?'r ARGLWYDD; gwnaethant felly,
11And Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of Jehovah; and they prepared [them],
12 a daeth y bobl 'r blaenffrwyth, y degwm a'r pethau cysegredig i mewn yn ffyddlon. Y pennaeth oedd Conaneia y Lefiad, a'i frawd Simei oedd y nesaf ato.
12and brought in the heave-offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully; and over these Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second.
13 Yn l gorchymyn y Brenin Heseceia ac Asareia pennaeth tu375? Dduw, yr oedd Conaneia a'i frawd Simei yn cael eu cynorthwyo gan oruchwylwyr, sef Jehiel, Ahaseia, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Josabad, Eliel, Ismacha, Mahath a Benaia.
13And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Jismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the command of Hezekiah the king and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
14 Core fab Imna y Lefiad, y porthor wrth borth y dwyrain, oedd yn gofalu am yr offrymau gwirfoddol i Dduw, ac yn dosbarthu'r cyfraniadau a wnaed i'r ARGLWYDD a'r offrymau mwyaf sanctaidd.
14And Kore the son of Jimnah the Levite, the doorkeeper toward the east, was over the voluntary-offerings of God, to distribute the heave-offerings of Jehovah, and the most holy things.
15 Yr oedd Eden, Miniamin, Jesua, Semaia, Amareia a Sechaneia yn ei gynorthwyo yn ninasoedd yr offeiriaid i rannu'n deg i'w brodyr, yn fach a mawr, fesul dosbarth.
15And under him were Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah, Amariah and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in [their] set trust, to make distributions to their brethren by [their] divisions, to the great as to the small,
16 Yn ychwanegol, rhoddwyd ar y rhestr bob gwryw tair oed a throsodd a oedd yn dod yn ei dro i du375?'r ARGLWYDD i wasanaethu trwy gadw dyletswyddau yn l eu dosbarthiadau.
16besides those from three years old and upward who as males were entered in the genealogical register, -- all that came into the house of Jehovah, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their charges, according to their divisions,
17 Rhoddwyd ar y rhestr hefyd yr offeiriaid, yn l eu teuluoedd, a'r Lefiaid oedd yn ugain oed a throsodd, yn l eu dyletswyddau a'u dosbarthiadau.
17-- both to the priests enregistered according to their fathers' houses, and to the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges, by their divisions;
18 Rhoddwyd hwy ar y rhestr gyda'u holl blant, gwragedd, meibion a merched, y cwmni i gyd, am iddynt ymgysegru'n ffyddlon.
18and to all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, the whole congregation of those entered in the register; for in their trust they hallowed themselves to be holy.
19 Ar gyfer meibion Aaron, yr offeiriaid, a oedd yn byw yng nghytir eu dinasoedd, penodwyd dynion ym mhob dinas i roi cyfraniadau i bob gwryw yn eu plith ac i bob un o'r Lefiaid oedd ar y rhestr.
19And for the sons of Aaron the priests who were in the country, in the suburbs of their cities, there were, in every several city, men expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all the Levites that were entered in the register.
20 Dyma a wnaeth Heseceia trwy holl Jwda; gwnaeth yr hyn oedd dda, uniawn a ffyddlon gerbron yr ARGLWYDD ei Dduw.
20And thus did Hezekiah throughout Judah, and wrought what was good and right and true before Jehovah his God.
21 Pa beth bynnag a wni i geisio ei Dduw yng ngwasanaeth tu375? Dduw, yn l gofynion y gyfraith a'r gorchmynion, fe'i gwni 'i holl galon, a llwyddo.
21And in every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and prospered.
