1 Wedi i Solomon orffen yr holl waith a wnaeth yn nhu375?'r ARGLWYDD, dygodd y pethau yr oedd ei dad Dafydd wedi eu cysegru, yr arian a'r aur a'r holl offer, a'u gosod yn nhrysordai tu375? Dduw.
1And all the work was finished that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of God.
2 Yna cynullodd Solomon henuriaid Israel a holl benaethiaid y llwythau a phennau-teuluoedd Israel i Jerwsalem, i gyrchu arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD o Ddinas Dafydd, sef Seion.
2Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.
3 Daeth holl wu375?r Israel ynghyd at y brenin ar yr u373?yl yn y seithfed mis.
3And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, that of the seventh month.
4 Wedi i holl henuriaid Israel gyrraedd, cododd y Lefiaid yr arch,
4And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
5 a chyrchodd yr offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid yr arch a phabell y cyfarfod a'r holl lestri cysegredig oedd yn y babell.
5And they brought up the ark, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent: the priests, the Levites, brought them up.
6 Ac yr oedd y Brenin Solomon, a phawb o gynulleidfa Israel oedd wedi ym-gynnull ato, yno o flaen yr arch yn aberthu defaid a gwartheg rhy niferus i'w rhifo na'u cyfrif.
6And king Solomon, and all the assembly of Israel, that were assembled to him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.
7 Felly y dygodd yr offeiriaid arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD a'i gosod yn ei lle yng nghafell y tu375?, y cysegr sancteiddiaf, dan adenydd y cerwbiaid.
7And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim;
8 Yr oedd y cerwbiaid yn estyn eu hadenydd dros le'r arch ac yn cysgodi dros yr arch a'i pholion.
8and the cherubim stretched forth [their] wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its staves above.
9 Yr oedd y polion yn ymestyn allan oddi wrth yr arch, fel y gellid gweld eu blaenau o flaen y gafell, ond nid oeddent i'w gweld o'r tu allan. Ac yno y maent hyd y dydd hwn.
9And the staves were long, so that the ends of the staves were seen outside the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there they are to this day.
10 Nid oedd yn yr arch ond y ddwy lech a osododd Moses ynddi yn Horeb, lle gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD gyfamod 'r Israeliaid pan oeddent yn dod allan o'r Aifft. Yna daeth yr offeiriaid allan o'r cysegr.
10There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put there at Horeb, when Jehovah made [a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
11 Yr oedd pob offeiriad oedd yn bresennol, i ba ddosbarth bynnag y perthynai, wedi ei gysegru ei hun.
11And it came to pass when the priests were come out of the holy place (for all the priests that were present were hallowed without observing the courses;
12 Yr oedd yr holl Lefiaid, sef y cantorion oedd yn perthyn i Asaff, Heman a Jeduthun, a'u meibion a'u brodyr, wedi eu gwisgo mewn lliain main ac yn sefyll i'r dwyrain o'r allor gyda symbalau, nablau a thelynau; ac yr oedd cant ac ugain o offeiriaid yn canu trwmpedau wrth eu hymyl.
12and the Levites the singers, all they of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, clad in byssus, with cymbals and lutes and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets),
13 Ac fel yr oedd yr utganwyr a'r cantorion yn uno mewn mawl a chlod i'r ARGLWYDD ac yn seinio trwmpedau, symbalau ac offer cerdd er moliant iddo, gan ddweud, "Yn wir da yw, ac y mae ei gariad hyd byth", llanwyd tu375?'r ARGLWYDD gan gwmwl.
13-- it came to pass when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one voice to be heard in praising and thanking Jehovah; and when they lifted up their voice with trumpets, and cymbals, and instruments of music, and praised Jehovah: For he is good, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever; that then the house, the house of Jehovah, was filled with a cloud,
14 Felly ni fedrai'r offeiriaid barhau i weinyddu o achos y cwmwl; yr oedd gogoniant yr ARGLWYDD yn llenwi tu375? Dduw.
14and the priests could not stand to do their service because of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of God.
