Darby's Translation

Ezekiel

40

1 Ar ddechrau'r bumed flwyddyn ar hugain o'n caethglud, ar y degfed o'r mis yn y bedwaredd flwyddyn ar ddeg wedi cwymp y ddinas, ar yr union ddiwrnod hwnnw, daeth llaw yr ARGLWYDD arnaf a mynd mi yno.
1In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, on that same day the hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me thither.
2 Mewn gweledigaethau Duw, aeth mi i dir Israel a'm gosod ar fynydd uchel iawn gydag adeiladau tebyg i ddinas ar ei ochr ddeheuol.
2In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain; and upon it was as the building of a city, on the south.
3 Cymerodd fi yno, a gwelais ddyn a'i ymddangosiad yn debyg i bres; yr oedd yn sefyll wrth y porth, llinyn o liain a ffon fesur yn ei law.
3And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a flax-cord in his hand, and a measuring-reed; and he stood in the gate.
4 Dywedodd y dyn wrthyf, "Fab dyn, edrych 'th lygaid, gwrando 'th glustiau, a dal sylw ar bopeth a ddangosaf i ti, oherwydd dyna pam y daethpwyd thi yma. Dywed wrth du375? Israel am y cyfan a weli."
4And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for in order that it might be shewn unto thee art thou brought hither. Declare to the house of Israel all that thou seest.
5 Gwelais fur yn amgylchu'n llwyr safle'r deml. Yr oedd y ffon fesur yn llaw'r dyn yn chwe chufydd hir, sef cufydd a dyrnfedd; a phan fesurodd y mur yr oedd ei drwch yn hyd y ffon, a'i uchder yn hyd y ffon.
5And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring-reed of six cubits, [each] of one cubit and a hand breadth. And he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
6 Yna aeth at y porth oedd yn wynebu'r dwyrain, ac i fyny ei risiau, a phan fesurodd riniog y porth yr oedd yn hyd y ffon.
6And he came to the gate which looked toward the east, and went up its steps; and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold one reed broad.
7 Yr oedd hyd yr ystafelloedd ochr yn un ffon, a'u lled yn un ffon, a'r mur rhwng yr ystafelloedd yn bum cufydd o led; yr oedd rhiniog y porth ger y cyntedd gyferbyn 'r deml yn hyd un ffon.
7And [each] chamber was one reed long and one reed broad; and between the chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate, beside the porch of the gate within, was one reed.
8 Yna mesurodd gyntedd y porth,
8And he measured the porch of the gate within, one reed.
9 ac yr oedd yn wyth cufydd o ddyfnder, a'i bileri yn ddau gufydd o drwch. Yr oedd cyntedd y porth gyferbyn 'r deml.
9And he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.
10 Y tu mewn i borth y dwyrain yr oedd tair o ystafelloedd ochr o'r ddeutu; yr un oedd mesuriadau'r tair, ac yr oedd y pileri ar bob ochr o'r un mesuriadau.
10And the chambers of the gate which was toward the east were three on this side and three on that side: they three were of one measure; and the posts on this side and on that side had one measure.
11 Yna mesurodd led agoriad y porth; yr oedd yn ddeg cufydd, ac yr oedd ei hyd yn dri chufydd ar ddeg.
11And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; [and] the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
12 Yr oedd wal cufydd o uchder o flaen yr ystafelloedd, ac yr oedd yr ystafelloedd yn chwe chufydd sgwr.
12And there was a border before the chambers of one cubit, and a border of one cubit on the other side; and the chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
13 Yna mesurodd y porth o ben mur cefn un ystafell i ben mur cefn yr un gyferbyn; yr oedd yn bum cufydd ar hugain o'r naill agoriad i'r llall.
13And he measured the gate from the roof of [one] chamber to the roof [of the other], a breadth of five and twenty cubits, entry opposite entry.
14 Mesurodd ar hyd y muriau o amgylch y porth o'r tu mewn, a'u cael yn drigain cufydd.
14And he made posts, sixty cubits, and by the post was the court of the gate round about.
15 Yr oedd y pellter o agoriad y porth i ben draw'r cyntedd yn hanner can cufydd.
15And from the front of the gate of the entrance unto the front of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.
16 Yr oedd ffenestri bychain oddi amgylch yn yr ystafelloedd ac yn y muriau y tu mewn i'r porth, ac felly hefyd yn y cyntedd; yr oedd y ffenestri oddi amgylch yn wynebu i mewn, ac yr oedd y pileri wedi eu haddurno phalmwydd.
16And there were closed windows to the chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the projections; and the windows round about were inward; and upon [each] post were palm-trees.
17 Yna aeth mi i'r cyntedd nesaf allan, a gwelais yno ystafelloedd, a phalmant wedi ei wneud o amgylch y cyntedd; yr oedd deg ar hugain o ystafelloedd yn wynebu'r palmant.
17And he brought me into the outer court, and behold, there were cells, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty cells were upon the pavement.
18 Yr oedd y palmant wrth ochr y pyrth, a'r un hyd 'r pyrth; hwn oedd y palmant isaf.
18And the pavement was by the side of the gates, answering to the length of the gates, [namely] the lower pavement.
19 Yna mesurodd o'r tu mewn i'r porth isaf at y tu allan i'r cyntedd nesaf i mewn; yr oedd yn gan cufydd ar yr ochr ddwyreiniol ac ar yr ochr ogleddol.
19And he measured the breadth from the front of the lower gate unto the front of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward.
20 Yna mesurodd hyd a lled y porth oedd yn wynebu'r gogledd yn y cyntedd nesaf allan.
20And the gate of the outer court, that looked toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth.
21 Yr oedd ei ystafelloedd, tair o'r ddeutu, ei bileri a'i gyntedd yr un mesuriadau rhai'r porth cyntaf; yr oedd yn hanner can cufydd o hyd ac yn bum cufydd ar hugain o led.
21And its chambers were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its projections were according to the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and breadth five and twenty cubits.
22 Yr oedd ei ffenestri, ei gyntedd a'i balmwydd yr un mesuriadau rhai porth y dwyrain; arweiniai saith o risiau ato, ac yr oedd y cyntedd gyferbyn hwy.
22And its windows, and its projections, and its palm-trees were according to the measure of the gate that looked toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and the projections thereof were before them.
23 Yr oedd agoriad i'r cyntedd nesaf i mewn gyferbyn phorth y gogledd, fel yr oedd ym mhorth y dwyrain. Mesurodd o'r naill borth i'r llall, ac yr oedd yn gan cufydd.
23And the gate of the inner court was opposite to the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.
24 Yna arweiniodd fi at ochr y de, a gwelais borth yn wynebu'r de. Mesurodd ei bileri a'i gyntedd, a'r un oedd eu mesuriadau 'r lleill.
24And he brought me toward the south: and behold, there was a gate toward the south; and he measured its posts and its projections according to these measures.
25 Yr oedd ffenestri o amgylch yn y porth ac yn ei gyntedd, fel ffenestri'r lleill. Hanner can cufydd oedd ei hyd, a phum cufydd ar hugain ei led.
25And there were windows to it and to its projections round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
26 Arweiniai saith o risiau ato, ac yr oedd y cyntedd gyferbyn hwy; yr oedd y pileri ar y naill ochr a'r llall wedi eu haddurno phalmwydd.
26And there were seven steps to go up to it; and its projections were before them; and it had palm-trees, one on this side and one on that side, upon its posts.
27 Yn y cyntedd nesaf i mewn yr oedd porth yn wynebu'r de, a mesurodd o'r porth hwn at y porth nesaf allan ar ochr y de; yr oedd yn gan cufydd.
27And there was a gate to the inner court toward the south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.
28 Yna aeth mi trwy borth y de i'r cyntedd nesaf i mewn, a mesurodd y porth; yr un oedd ei fesuriadau 'r lleill.
28And he brought me into the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to these measures:
29 Yr oedd ei ystafelloedd, ei bileri a'i gyntedd yr un mesuriadau 'r lleill, ac yr oedd ffenestri o amgylch y porth ac yn ei gyntedd. Hanner can cufydd oedd ei hyd, a phum cufydd ar hugain ei led.
29and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
30 Yr oedd cynteddoedd y pyrth o amgylch y cyntedd nesaf i mewn yn bum cufydd ar hugain o led, a phum cufydd o ddyfnder.
30And there were projections round about, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad.
31 Wynebai ei gyntedd y cyntedd nesaf allan; yr oedd ei bileri wedi eu haddurno phalmwydd, ac yr oedd wyth o risiau'n arwain ato.
31And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.
32 Yna aeth mi i'r cyntedd nesaf i mewn ar ochr y dwyrain, a mesurodd y porth; yr un oedd ei fesuriadau 'r lleill.
32And he brought me into the inner court toward the east; and he measured the gate according to these measures:
33 Yr oedd ei ystafelloedd, ei bileri a'i gyntedd yr un mesuriadau 'r lleill, ac yr oedd ffenestri o amgylch y porth ac yn ei gyntedd. Hanner can cufydd oedd ei hyd, a phum cufydd ar hugain ei led.
33and its chambers, and its posts, and its projections, according to these measures; and there were windows to it and to its projections round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
34 Wynebai ei gyntedd y cyntedd nesaf allan; yr oedd ei bileri wedi eu haddurno phalmwydd, ac yr oedd wyth o risiau'n arwain ato.
34And its projections were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.
35 Yna aeth  mi at borth y gogledd, a'i fesur; yr un oedd ei fesuriadau 'r lleill;
35And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured [it] according to these measures:
36 felly hefyd ei ystafelloedd, ei bileri a'i gyntedd, ac yr oedd ffenestri o'i amgylch. Hanner can cufydd oedd ei hyd, a phum cufydd ar hugain ei led.
36its chambers, its posts, and its projections; and there were windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
37 Wynebai ei gyntedd y cyntedd nesaf allan; yr oedd ei bileri wedi eu haddurno phalmwydd, ac yr oedd wyth o risiau'n arwain ato.
37And its posts were toward the outer court; and there were palm-trees upon its posts, on this side and on that side: and its ascent was [by] eight steps.
38 Yng nghyntedd y porth yr oedd ystafell ac iddi ddrws, ac yno y golchid y poethoffrwm.
38And there was a cell and its entry by the posts of the gates; there they rinsed the burnt-offering.
39 Yng nghyntedd y porth yr oedd hefyd ddau fwrdd o boptu, ac arnynt y lleddid y poethoffrwm, yr offrwm dros bechod a'r offrwm dros gamwedd.
39And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt-offering and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering.
40 Yng nghyntedd nesaf allan y porth, wrth ymyl y grisiau oedd yn arwain i borth y gogledd, yr oedd dau fwrdd, a'r ochr arall i'r grisiau hefyd ddau fwrdd.
40And at the side without, at the ascent to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables:
41 Yr oedd pedwar o fyrddau ar un ochr i'r porth, a phedwar ar yr ochr arall, wyth i gyd; ac arnynt y lleddid yr aberthau.
41four tables on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, -- eight tables, whereon they slew [the sacrifice],
42 Yr oedd hefyd bedwar bwrdd o feini nadd ar gyfer y poethoffrwm, pob un yn gufydd a hanner o hyd, yn gufydd a hanner o led ac yn gufydd o uchder; arnynt hwy y rhoddid yr offer ar gyfer lladd y poethoffrwm a'r aberthau eraill.
42-- and at the ascent, four tables of hewn stone, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereon also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.
43 Ar y muriau oddi amgylch yr oedd bachau dwbl, dyrnfedd o hyd; yr oedd y byrddau ar gyfer cig yr offrwm.
43And the double hooks of a hand breadth were fastened round about within; and upon the tables [they put] the flesh of the offering.
44 Y tu allan i'r porth nesaf i mewn, a'r tu mewn i'r cyntedd nesaf i mewn, yr oedd dwy ystafell, un ger porth y gogledd ac yn wynebu'r de, ac un ger porth y de ac yn wynebu'r gogledd.
44And outside the inner gate were two cells in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate, and its front towards the south; the other was at the side of the south gate, the front towards the north.
45 Dywedodd wrthyf, "Y mae'r ystafell sy'n wynebu'r de ar gyfer yr offeiriaid sy'n gofalu am y deml,
45And he said unto me, This cell whose front is towards the south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.
46 ac y mae'r un sy'n wynebu'r gogledd ar gyfer yr offeiriaid sy'n gofalu am yr allor, sef meibion Sadoc, yr unig rai o feibion Lefi sy'n cael dynesu at yr ARGLWYDD i'w wasanaethu."
46And the cell whose front is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those who, from among the sons of Levi, approach unto Jehovah to minister unto him.
47 Yna mesurodd y cyntedd, ac yr oedd yn sgwr, yn gan cufydd o hyd ac yn gan cufydd o led; yr oedd yr allor o flaen y deml.
47And he measured the court, the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, four square: and the altar was before the house.
48 Aeth mi at gyntedd y deml, a mesur pileri'r cyntedd; yr oedd eu trwch yn bum cufydd bob ochr. Yr oedd lled y porth yn bedwar cufydd ar ddeg, a'i furiau yn dri chufydd o led bob ochr.
48And he brought me to the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.
49 Yr oedd y cyntedd yn ugain cufydd o led, ac yn ddeuddeg cufydd o'r blaen i'r cefn; arweiniai grisiau i fyny ato, ac yr oedd colofnau bob ochr i'r pileri.
49The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, even by the steps whereby they went up to it; and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.
