¹ Wele, y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gwac�u'r ddaear, yn ei difrodi, yn ei throi �'i hwyneb i waered, ac yn gyrru ei thrigolion ar wasgar.

¹Behold, Jehovah maketh the land empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad its inhabitants.

² Bydd yr un ffunud i bobl ac i offeiriad, i was ac i feistr, i lawforwyn ac i feistres, i brynwr ac i werthwr, i echwynnwr ac i fenthyciwr, i'r un sy'n derbyn llog ac i'r un sy'n ei dalu.

²And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with him from whom usury is taken.

³ Gwneir y ddaear yn gwbl wag, a'i hysbeilio'n llwyr. Oherwydd yr ARGLWYDD a lefarodd y gair hwn.

³The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.

⁴ Gwywodd y ddaear a chrino, dihoenodd y byd ac edwino, dihoenodd uchelfeydd y ddaear.

⁴The land mourneth, it fadeth away; the world languisheth, it fadeth away: the haughty people of the land do languish.

⁵ Halogwyd y ddaear gan ei phreswylwyr, am iddynt dorri'r cyfreithiau, newid y deddfau a diddymu'r cyfamod tragwyddol.

⁵And the land is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; for they have violated the laws, changed the statute, broken the everlasting covenant.

⁶ Am hynny fe ysir y wlad gan felltith, a chosbir ei thrigolion; am hynny hefyd fe �'r trigolion yn llai a llai, ac ychydig fydd yn weddill.

⁶Therefore doth the curse devour the earth, and they that dwell therein are held guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are consumed, and few men are left.

⁷ Fe �'r gwin newydd yn wan, dihoena'r winwydden, a thry'r gorfoleddwyr i riddfan.

⁷The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all that were merry-hearted do sigh;

⁸ Bydd su373?n llawen y tympanau yn peidio, a thrwst y gyfeddach yn distewi, a'r delyn hyfryd yn dawel.

⁸the mirth of tambours ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

⁹ Ni fydd yfed gwin yn su373?n canu; bydd y ddiod yn chwerw i'r yfwr.

⁹They do not drink wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to them that drink it.

¹⁰ Bydd dinas anhrefn wedi ei dryllio, a phob tu375? ar glo rhag i neb fynd iddo.

¹⁰The city of solitude is broken down; every house is shut up, so that none entereth in.

¹¹ Er galw am win yn yr heolydd, bydd diwedd ar bob cyfeddach, a diflanna llawenydd o'r wlad.

¹¹There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone;

¹² Anghyfanhedd�dra yn unig a adewir yn y ddinas, a bydd ei phyrth wedi eu dryllio'n gandryll.

¹²desolation remaineth in the city, and the gate is smitten, -- a ruin.

¹³ Felly y bydd dros y byd i gyd ymhlith y bobloedd, fel ar adeg ysgwyd yr olewydd a lloffa'r gwinwydd ar �l y cynhaeaf.

¹³For so will it be in the midst of the land among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive-tree, as the grape-gleanings when the vintage is done.

¹⁴ Byddant yn codi llef a llawenhau, datganant glod yr ARGLWYDD o'r gorllewin.

¹⁴These shall lift up their voice, they shall shout for the majesty of Jehovah, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

¹⁵ Am hynny taler parch i'r ARGLWYDD yn y dwyrain, i enw'r ARGLWYDD, Duw Israel, yn ynysoedd y gorllewin.

¹⁵Therefore glorify Jehovah in the east, the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, in the isles of the west.

¹⁶ O eithafoedd y ddaear fe glywn orfoledd: "Gogoniant i'r Un Cyfiawn." Ond fe ddywedaf fi, "Nychdod! Nychdod! Gwae fi! y twyllwyr a dwyllodd, twyllwyr a dwyllodd �'u twyll."

¹⁶From the end of the earth have we heard songs: Glory to the righteous! And I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

¹⁷ Dychryn, pwll, magl sydd ar dy gyfer, breswylydd y tir;

¹⁷Fear, and the pit, and the snare are upon thee, inhabitant of the land.

¹⁸ y sawl a ffy o drwst y dychryn a syrth i'r pwll, a'r sawl a gyfyd o ganol y pwll a ddelir yn y fagl. Oherwydd agorir ffenestri'r uchelder, ac fe gryna seiliau'r ddaear;

¹⁸And it shall come to pass, [that] he who fleeth from the sound of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake.

¹⁹ dryllir y ddaear yn deilchion, ei rhwygo drwyddi a'i hysgwyd yn ffyrnig;

¹⁹The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is completely dissolved, the earth is violently moved.

²⁰ bydd y ddaear yn gwegian yn �l a blaen fel meddwyn, yn siglo fel caban gwyliwr; bydd pwysau ei chamwedd mor drwm arni, fel y bydd yn syrthio heb godi byth mwy.

²⁰The earth reeleth to and fro like a drunkard, and is shaken like a night hut; and its transgression is heavy upon it; and it falleth and shall not rise again.

²¹ Yn y dydd hwnnw fe gosba'r ARGLWYDD lu'r nef yn y nef, a brenhinoedd y ddaear ar y ddaear.

²¹And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

²² Fe'u cesglir ynghyd, yn glos fel carcharorion mewn cell; caeir arnynt yng ngharchar, a'u cosbi ymhen amser hir.

²²And they shall be brought together, [as] an assemblage of prisoners for the pit, and shall be shut up in prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

²³ Gwaradwyddir y lloer, a chywilyddia'r haul, oherwydd teyrnasa ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd ar Fynydd Seion ac yn Jerwsalem, a'i ogoniant yn amlwg gerbron ei henuriaid.

²³And the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Jehovah of hosts shall reign on mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients in glory.
