¹ Wedi iddo lefaru'r geiriau hyn, cododd Iesu ei lygaid i'r nef a dywedodd: "O Dad, y mae'r awr wedi dod. Gogonedda dy Fab, er mwyn i'r Mab dy ogoneddu di.

¹These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee;

² Oherwydd rhoddaist iddo ef awdurdod ar bob un, awdurdod i roi bywyd tragwyddol i bawb yr wyt ti wedi eu rhoi iddo ef.

²as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal.

³ A hyn yw bywyd tragwyddol: dy adnabod di, yr unig wir Dduw, a'r hwn a anfonaist ti, Iesu Grist.

³And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

⁴ Yr wyf fi wedi dy ogoneddu ar y ddaear trwy orffen y gwaith a roddaist imi i'w wneud.

⁴I have glorified *thee* on the earth, I have completed the work which thou gavest me that I should do it;

⁵ Yn awr, O Dad, gogonedda di fyfi ger dy fron dy hun �'r gogoniant oedd i mi ger dy fron cyn bod y byd.

⁵and now glorify *me*, *thou* Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was.

⁶ "Yr wyf wedi amlygu dy enw i'r rhai a roddaist imi allan o'r byd. Eiddot ti oeddent, ac fe'u rhoddaist i mi. Y maent wedi cadw dy air di.

⁶I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world. They were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word.

⁷ Y maent yn gwybod yn awr mai oddi wrthyt ti y mae popeth a roddaist i mi.

⁷Now they have known that all things that thou hast given me are of thee;

⁸ Oherwydd yr wyf wedi rhoi iddynt hwy y geiriau a roddaist ti i mi, a hwythau wedi eu derbyn, a chanfod mewn gwirionedd mai oddi wrthyt ti y deuthum, a chredu mai ti a'm hanfonodd i.

⁸for the words which thou hast given me I have given them, and they have received [them], and have known truly that I came out from thee, and have believed that thou sentest me.

⁹ Drostynt hwy yr wyf fi'n gwedd�o. Nid dros y byd yr wyf yn gwedd�o, ond dros y rhai a roddaist imi, oherwydd eiddot ti ydynt.

⁹I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,

¹⁰ Y mae popeth sy'n eiddof fi yn eiddot ti, a'r eiddot ti yn eiddof fi. Ac yr wyf fi wedi fy ngogoneddu ynddynt hwy.

¹⁰(and all that is mine is thine, and [all] that is thine mine,) and I am glorified in them.

¹¹ Nid wyf fi mwyach yn y byd, ond y maent hwy yn y byd. Yr wyf fi'n dod atat ti. O Dad sanctaidd, cadw hwy'n ddiogel trwy dy enw, yr enw a roddaist i mi, er mwyn iddynt fod yn un fel yr ydym ni yn un.

¹¹And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we.

¹² Pan oeddwn gyda hwy, yr oeddwn i'n eu cadw'n ddiogel trwy dy enw, yr enw a roddaist i mi. Gwyliais drostynt, ac ni chollwyd yr un ohonynt, ar wah�n i fab colledigaeth, i'r Ysgrythur gael ei chyflawni.

¹²When I was with them I kept them in thy name; those thou hast given me I have guarded, and not one of them has perished, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

¹³ Ond yn awr yr wyf yn dod atat ti, ac yr wyf yn llefaru'r geiriau hyn yn y byd er mwyn i'm llawenydd i fod ganddynt yn gyflawn ynddynt hwy eu hunain.

¹³And now I come to thee. And these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

¹⁴ Yr wyf fi wedi rhoi iddynt dy air di, ac y mae'r byd wedi eu cas�u hwy, am nad ydynt yn perthyn i'r byd, fel nad wyf finnau'n perthyn i'r byd.

¹⁴I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

¹⁵ Nid wyf yn gwedd�o ar i ti eu cymryd allan o'r byd, ond ar i ti eu cadw'n ddiogel rhag yr Un drwg.

¹⁵I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil.

¹⁶ Nid ydynt yn perthyn i'r byd, fel nad wyf finnau'n perthyn i'r byd.

¹⁶They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

¹⁷ Cysegra hwy yn y gwirionedd. Dy air di yw'r gwirionedd.

¹⁷Sanctify them by the truth: thy word is truth.

¹⁸ Fel yr anfonaist ti fi i'r byd, yr wyf fi'n eu hanfon hwy i'r byd.

¹⁸As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world;

¹⁹ Ac er eu mwyn hwy yr wyf fi'n fy nghysegru fy hun, er mwyn iddynt hwythau fod wedi eu cysegru yn y gwirionedd.

¹⁹and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth.

²⁰ "Ond nid dros y rhain yn unig yr wyf yn gwedd�o, ond hefyd dros y rhai fydd yn credu ynof fi trwy eu gair hwy.

²⁰And I do not demand for these only, but also for those who believe on me through their word;

²¹ Rwy'n gwedd�o ar iddynt oll fod yn un, ie, fel yr wyt ti, O Dad, ynof fi a minnau ynot ti, iddynt hwy hefyd fod ynom ni, er mwyn i'r byd gredu mai tydi a'm hanfonodd i.

²¹that they may be all one, as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

²² Yr wyf fi wedi rhoi iddynt hwy y gogoniant a roddaist ti i mi, er mwyn iddynt fod yn un fel yr ydym ni yn un:

²²And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;

²³ myfi ynddynt hwy, a thydi ynof fi, a hwythau felly wedi eu dwyn i undod perffaith, er mwyn i'r byd wybod mai tydi a'm hanfonodd i, ac i ti eu caru hwy fel y ceraist fi.

²³I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

²⁴ O Dad, am y rhai yr wyt ti wedi eu rhoi i mi, fy nymuniad yw iddynt hwy fod gyda mi lle'r wyf fi, er mwyn iddynt weld fy ngogoniant, y gogoniant a roddaist i mi oherwydd i ti fy ngharu cyn seilio'r byd.

²⁴Father, [as to] those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before [the] foundation of [the] world.

²⁵ O Dad cyfiawn, nid yw'r byd yn dy adnabod, ond yr wyf fi'n dy adnabod, ac y mae'r rhain yn gwybod mai tydi a'm hanfonodd i.

²⁵Righteous Father, -- and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

²⁶ Yr wyf wedi gwneud dy enw di yn hysbys iddynt, ac fe wnaf hynny eto, er mwyn i'r cariad �'r hwn yr wyt wedi fy ngharu i fod ynddynt hwy, ac i minnau fod ynddynt hwy."

²⁶And I have made known to them thy name, and will make [it] known; that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.
