1 Llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Dywed wrth bobl Israel, 'Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw.
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God.
3 Nid ydych i wneud fel y gwneir yng ngwlad yr Aifft, lle buoch yn byw, nac fel y gwneir yng ngwlad Canaan, lle'r wyf yn mynd � chwi. Peidiwch � dilyn eu harferion.
3After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their customs.
4 Yr ydych i ufuddhau i'm cyfreithiau ac i gadw fy neddfau; myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw.
4Mine ordinances shall ye do and my statutes shall ye observe to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.
5 Cadwch fy neddfau a'm cyfreithiau, oherwydd y mae'r sawl sy'n eu cadw yn byw trwyddynt. Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD.
5And ye shall observe my statutes and my judgments, by which the man that doeth them shall live: I am Jehovah.
6 "'Nid yw unrhyw un i ddynesu at berthynas agos iddo i gael cyfathrach rywiol. Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD.
6No one shall approach to any that is his near relation, to uncover his nakedness: I am Jehovah.
7 "'Nid wyt i amharchu dy dad trwy gael cyfathrach rywiol �'th fam; dy fam yw hi, ac nid wyt i gael cyfathrach � hi.
7The nakedness of thy father, and the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � gwraig dy dad; byddai hynny'n amharchu dy dad.
8The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
9 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol �'th chwaer, boed yn ferch i'th dad neu'n ferch i'th fam, ac wedi ei geni yn y cartref neu'r tu allan iddo.
9The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, born at home, or born abroad -- their nakedness shalt thou not uncover.
10 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � merch dy fab neu ferch dy ferch; byddai hynny'n dy amharchu.
10The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter -- their nakedness shalt thou not uncover; for theirs is thy nakedness.
11 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � merch i wraig dy dad sydd wedi ei geni i'th dad; y mae'n chwaer iti, ac nid wyt i gael cyfathrach � hi.
11The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father: she is thy sister: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � chwaer dy dad; y mae'n berthynas agos i'th dad.
12The nakedness of thy father's sister shalt thou not uncover: she is thy father's near relation.
13 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � chwaer dy fam, gan ei bod yn berthynas agos i'th fam.
13The nakedness of thy mother's sister shalt thou not uncover; for she is thy mother's near relation.
14 "'Nid wyt i amharchu brawd dy dad trwy ddynesu at ei wraig; y mae'n fodryb iti.
14The nakedness of thy father's brother shalt thou not uncover; thou shalt not approach his wife: she is thine aunt.
15 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol �'th ferch-yng-nghyfraith; y mae'n wraig i'th fab, ac nid wyt i gael cyfathrach � hi.
15The nakedness of thy daughter-in-law shalt thou not uncover: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � gwraig dy frawd; byddai hynny'n amharchu dy frawd.
16The nakedness of thy brother's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy brother's nakedness.
17 "'Nid wyt i gael cyfathrach rywiol � gwraig ac �'i merch, nac ychwaith � merch ei mab na merch ei merch; y maent yn perthyn yn agos iddi, a byddai hynny'n anlladrwydd.
17The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; thou shalt not take her son's daughter, nor her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness: they are her near relations: it is wickedness.
18 "'Nid wyt i briodi chwaer dy wraig rhag iddi gystadlu � hi, na chael cyfathrach � hi tra bo dy wraig yn fyw.
18And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness beside her, during her life.
19 "'Nid wyt i ddynesu at wraig i gael cyfathrach rywiol � hi yn ystod aflendid ei misglwyf.
19And thou shalt not approach a woman in the separation of her uncleanness to uncover her nakedness.
20 "'Nid wyt i orwedd mewn cyfathrach gyda gwraig dy gymydog, i'th wneud dy hun yn aflan gyda hi.
20And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to become unclean with her.
21 "'Nid wyt i roi yr un o'th blant i'w aberthu i Moloch, a halogi enw dy Dduw. Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD.
21And thou shalt not give of thy seed to let them pass through [the fire] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.
22 "'Nid wyt i orwedd gyda dyn fel gyda gwraig; y mae hynny'n ffieidd-dra.
22And thou shalt not lie with mankind as one lieth with a woman: it is an abomination.
23 "'Nid wyt i orwedd gydag unrhyw anifail, i'th wneud dy hun yn aflan, ac nid yw unrhyw wraig i'w rhoi ei hun mewn cyfathrach ag anifail; y mae hynny'n wyrni.
23And thou shalt lie with no beast to become unclean therewith; and a woman shall not stand before a beast to lie down with it: it is confusion.
24 "'Peidiwch �'ch halogi eich hunain �'r un o'r pethau hyn, oherwydd trwy'r rhain y bu'r cenhedloedd yr wyf yn eu gyrru allan o'ch blaenau yn eu halogi eu hunain.
24Make not yourselves unclean in any of these things; for in all these have the nations which I am casting out before you made themselves unclean.
25 Halogwyd y tir, ac fe'i cosbais am ei ddrygioni, ac fe chwydodd y tir ei drigolion.
25And the land hath become unclean; and I visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants.
26 Ond cadwch chwi fy neddfau a'm cyfreithiau, a pheidiwch � gwneud yr un o'r pethau ffiaidd hyn, pa un bynnag ai brodor ai estron ydych;
26But *ye* shall observe my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of all these abominations: the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you;
27 oherwydd gwnaeth y bobl oedd yn y wlad o'ch blaen chwi yr holl bethau ffiaidd hyn, a halogwyd y tir.
27(for all these abominations have the men of the land done, who were before you, and the land hath been made unclean);
28 Os byddwch chwi'n halogi'r tir, bydd yn eich chwydu chwithau fel y chwydodd y cenhedloedd oedd o'ch blaen chwi.
28that the land vomit you not out, when ye make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
29 Pwy bynnag sy'n gwneud unrhyw un o'r pethau ffiaidd hyn, fe'i torrir ymaith o blith ei bobl.
29For whoever committeth any of these abominations, ... the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Cadwch fy ngofynion, a pheidiwch � dilyn yr arferion ffiaidd a wnaed o'ch blaen, na chael eich halogi ganddynt. Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw.'"
30And ye shall observe my charge, that ye commit not [any] of the abominable customs which were committed before you; and ye shall not make yourselves unclean therein: I am Jehovah your God.
