¹ Dechreuodd lefaru wrthynt ar ddamhegion. "Fe blannodd rhywun winllan, a chododd glawdd o'i hamgylch, a chloddio cafn i'r gwinwryf, ac adeiladu tu373?r. Gosododd hi i denantiaid, ac aeth oddi cartref.

¹And he began to say to them in parables, A man planted a vineyard, and made a fence round [it] and dug a wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and left the country.

² Pan ddaeth yn amser, anfonodd was at y tenantiaid i dderbyn ganddynt gyfran o ffrwyth y winllan.

²And he sent a bondman to the husbandmen at the season, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

³ Daliasant hwythau ef, a'i guro, a'i yrru i ffwrdd yn waglaw.

³But they took him, and beat [him], and sent [him] away empty.

⁴ Anfonodd drachefn was arall atynt; trawsant hwnnw ar ei ben a'i amharchu.

⁴And again he sent to them another bondman; and [at] him they [threw stones, and] struck [him] on the head, and sent [him] away with insult.

⁵ Ac anfonodd un arall; lladdasant hwnnw. A llawer eraill yr un fath: curo rhai a lladd y lleill.

⁵And [again] he sent another, and him they killed; and many others, beating some and killing some.

⁶ Yr oedd ganddo un eto, mab annwyl; anfonodd ef atynt yn olaf, gan ddweud, 'Fe barchant fy mab'.

⁶Having yet therefore one beloved son, he sent also him to them the last, saying, They will have respect for my son.

⁷ Ond dywedodd y tenantiaid hynny wrth ei gilydd, 'Hwn yw'r etifedd; dewch, lladdwn ef, a bydd yr etifeddiaeth yn eiddo i ni.'

⁷But those husbandmen said to one another, This is the heir: come, let us kill him and the inheritance will be ours.

⁸ A chymerasant ef, a'i ladd, a'i fwrw allan o'r winllan.

⁸And they took him and killed him, and cast him forth out of the vineyard.

⁹ Beth ynteu a wna perchen y winllan? Fe ddaw ac fe ddifetha'r tenantiaid, ac fe rydd y winllan i eraill.

⁹What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.

¹⁰ Onid ydych wedi darllen yr Ysgrythur hon: 'Y maen a wrthododd yr adeiladwyr, hwn a ddaeth yn faen y gongl;

¹⁰Have ye not even read this scripture, The stone which they that builded rejected, this has become the corner-stone:

¹¹ gan yr Arglwydd y gwnaethpwyd hyn, ac y mae'n rhyfeddol yn ein golwg ni'?"

¹¹this is of [the] Lord, and it is wonderful in our eyes?

¹² Ceisiasant ei ddal ef, ond yr oedd arnynt ofn y dyrfa, oherwydd gwyddent mai yn eu herbyn hwy y dywedodd y ddameg. A gadawsant ef a mynd ymaith.

¹²And they sought to lay hold of him, and they feared the crowd; for they knew that he had spoken the parable of them. And they left him and went away.

¹³ Anfonwyd ato rai o'r Phariseaid ac o'r Herodianiaid i'w faglu ar air.

¹³And they send to him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they might catch him in speaking.

¹⁴ Daethant, ac meddent wrtho, "Athro, gwyddom dy fod yn ddiffuant, ac na waeth gennyt am neb; yr wyt yn ddi-dderbyn-wyneb, ac yn dysgu ffordd Duw yn gwbl ddiffuant. A yw'n gyfreithlon talu treth i Gesar, ai nid yw? A ydym i dalu, neu beidio � thalu?"

¹⁴And they come and say to him, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and carest not for any one; for thou regardest not men's person, but teachest the way of God with truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?

¹⁵ Deallodd yntau eu rhagrith, ac meddai wrthynt, "Pam yr ydych yn rhoi prawf arnaf? Dewch � darn arian yma, imi gael golwg arno."

¹⁵Should we give, or should we not give? But he knowing their hypocrisy said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me a denarius that I may see [it].

¹⁶ A daethant ag un, ac meddai ef wrthynt, "Llun ac arysgrif pwy sydd yma?" Dywedasant hwythau wrtho, "Cesar."

¹⁶And they brought [it]. And he says to them, Whose [is] this image and superscription? And they said to him, Caesar's.

¹⁷ A dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Talwch bethau Cesar i Gesar, a phethau Duw i Dduw." Ac yr oeddent yn rhyfeddu ato.

¹⁷And Jesus answering said to them, Pay what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God. And they wondered at him.

¹⁸ Daeth ato Sadwceaid, y bobl sy'n dweud nad oes dim atgyfodiad, a dechreusant ei holi.

¹⁸And Sadducees come to him, that say there is no resurrection; and they demanded of him saying,

¹⁹ "Athro," meddent, "ysgrifennodd Moses ar ein cyfer, 'Os bydd rhywun farw, a gadael gwraig, ond heb adael plentyn, y mae ei frawd i gymryd y wraig ac i godi plant i'w frawd.'

¹⁹Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if any one's brother die, and leave a wife behind, and leave no children, that his brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.

²⁰ Yr oedd saith o frodyr. Cymerodd y cyntaf wraig, a phan fu ef farw ni adawodd blant.

²⁰There were seven brethren; and the first took a wife, and dying did not leave seed;

²¹ A chymerodd yr ail hi, a bu farw heb adael plant; a'r trydydd yr un modd.

²¹and the second took her and died, and neither did he leave seed; and the third likewise.

²² Ac ni adawodd yr un o'r saith blant. Yn olaf oll bu farw'r wraig hithau.

²²And the seven [took her and] did not leave seed. Last of all the woman also died.

²³ Yn yr atgyfodiad, pan atgyfodant, gwraig prun ohonynt fydd hi? Oherwydd cafodd y saith hi'n wraig."

²³In the resurrection, when they shall rise again, of which of them shall she be wife, for the seven had her as wife?

²⁴ Meddai Iesu wrthynt, "Onid dyma achos eich cyfeiliorni, eich bod heb ddeall na'r Ysgrythurau na gallu Duw?

²⁴And Jesus answering said to them, Do not ye therefore err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God?

²⁵ Oherwydd pan atgyfodant oddi wrth y meirw, ni phriodant ac ni phriodir hwy; y maent fel angylion yn y nefoedd.

²⁵For when they rise from among [the] dead they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels [who are] in the heavens.

²⁶ Ond ynglu375?n � bod y meirw yn codi, onid ydych wedi darllen yn llyfr Moses, yn hanes y Berth, sut y dywedodd Duw wrtho, 'Myfi, Duw Abraham a Duw Isaac a Duw Jacob ydwyf'?

²⁶But concerning the dead that they rise, have ye not read in the book of Moses, in [the section of] the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, *I* [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

²⁷ Nid Duw'r meirw yw ef, ond y rhai byw. Yr ydych ymhell ar gyfeiliorn."

²⁷He is not the God of [the] dead, but of [the] living. *Ye* therefore greatly err.

²⁸ Daeth un o'r ysgrifenyddion ato, wedi eu clywed yn dadlau, ac yn gweld ei fod wedi eu hateb yn dda, a gofynnodd iddo, "Prun yw'r gorchymyn cyntaf o'r cwbl?"

²⁸And one of the scribes who had come up, and had heard them reasoning together, perceiving that he had answered them well, demanded of him, Which is [the] first commandment of all?

²⁹ Atebodd Iesu, "Y cyntaf yw, 'Gwrando, O Israel, yr Arglwydd ein Duw yw'r unig Arglwydd,

²⁹And Jesus answered him, [The] first commandment of all [is], Hear, Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord;

³⁰ a ch�r yr Arglwydd dy Dduw �'th holl galon ac �'th holl enaid ac �'th holl feddwl ac �'th holl nerth.'

³⁰and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thine understanding, and with all thy strength. This is [the] first commandment.

³¹ Yr ail yw hwn, 'C�r dy gymydog fel ti dy hun.' Nid oes gorchymyn arall mwy na'r rhain."

³¹And a second like it [is] this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is not another commandment greater than these.

³² Dywedodd yr ysgrifennydd wrtho, "Da y dywedaist, Athro; gwir mai un ydyw ac nad oes Duw arall ond ef.

³²And the scribe said to him, Right, teacher; thou hast spoken according to [the] truth. For he is one, and there is none other besides him;

³³ Ac y mae ei garu ef �'r holl galon ac �'r holl ddeall ac �'r holl nerth, a charu dy gymydog fel ti dy hun, yn rhagorach na'r holl boethoffrymau a'r aberthau."

³³and to love him with all the heart, and with all the intelligence, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbour as one's self, is more than all the burnt-offerings and sacrifices.

³⁴ A phan welodd Iesu ei fod wedi ateb yn feddylgar, dywedodd wrtho, "Nid wyt ymhell oddi wrth deyrnas Dduw." Ac ni feiddiai neb ei holi ddim mwy.

³⁴And Jesus, seeing that he had answered intelligently, said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared question him any more.

³⁵ Wrth ddysgu yn y deml dywedodd Iesu, "Sut y mae'r ysgrifenyddion yn gallu dweud bod y Meseia yn Fab Dafydd?

³⁵And Jesus answering said [as he was] teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say that the Christ is son of David?

³⁶ Dywedodd Dafydd ei hun, trwy'r Ysbryd Gl�n: 'Dywedodd yr Arglwydd wrth fy Arglwydd i, "Eistedd ar fy neheulaw nes imi osod dy elynion dan dy draed."'

³⁶[for] David himself said [speaking] in the Holy Spirit, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand until I put thine enemies [as] footstool of thy feet.

³⁷ Y mae Dafydd ei hun yn ei alw'n Arglwydd; sut felly y mae'n fab iddo?" Yr oedd y dyrfa fawr yn gwrando arno'n llawen.

³⁷David himself [therefore] calls him Lord, and whence is he his son? And the mass of the people heard him gladly.

³⁸ Ac wrth eu dysgu, meddai, "Ym-ogelwch rhag yr ysgrifenyddion sy'n hoffi rhodianna mewn gwisgoedd llaes, a chael cyfarchiadau yn y marchnadoedd,

³⁸And he said to them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, who like to walk about in long robes, and salutations in the marketplaces,

³⁹ a'r prif gadeiriau yn y synagogau, a'r seddau anrhydedd mewn gwleddoedd.

³⁹and first seats in the synagogues, and first places at suppers;

⁴⁰ Dyma'r rhai sy'n difa cartrefi gwragedd gweddwon, ac mewn rhagrith yn gwedd�o'n faith; fe dderbyn y rhain drymach dedfryd."

⁴⁰who devour the houses of widows, and as a pretext make long prayers. These shall receive a severer judgment.

⁴¹ Eisteddodd i lawr gyferbyn � chist y drysorfa, ac yr oedd yn sylwi ar y modd yr oedd y dyrfa yn rhoi arian i mewn yn y gist. Yr oedd llawer o bobl gyfoethog yn rhoi yn helaeth.

⁴¹And Jesus, having sat down opposite the treasury, saw how the crowd was casting money into the treasury; and many rich cast in much.

⁴² A daeth gweddw dlawd a rhoi dau ddarn bychan o bres, gwerth chwarter ceiniog.

⁴²And a poor widow came and cast in two mites, which is a farthing.

⁴³ Galwodd ei ddisgyblion ato a dywedodd wrthynt, "Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych fod y weddw dlawd hon wedi rhoi mwy na phawb arall sy'n rhoi i'r drysorfa.

⁴³And having called his disciples to [him] he said to them, Verily I say unto you, This poor widow has cast in more than all who have cast into the treasury:

⁴⁴ Oherwydd rhoi a wnaethant hwy i gyd o'r mwy na digon sydd ganddynt, ond rhoddodd hon o'i phrinder y cwbl oedd ganddi i fyw arno."

⁴⁴for all have cast in of that which they had in abundance, but she of her destitution has cast in all that she had, the whole of her living.
