1 Dyma ddisgynyddion Aaron a Moses yr adeg y llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses ar Fynydd Sinai.
1And these are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Jehovah spoke with Moses on mount Sinai.
2 Enwau meibion Aaron oedd: Nadab y cyntafanedig, Abihu, Eleasar ac Ithamar.
2And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
3 Dyma oedd enwau meibion Aaron a eneiniwyd ac a gysegrwyd i wasanaethu fel offeiriaid.
3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, who were consecrated to exercise the priesthood.
4 Bu farw Nadab ac Abihu wedi iddynt offrymu ar d�n halogedig o flaen yr ARGLWYDD yn anialwch Sinai. Nid oedd gan y naill na'r llall ohonynt feibion; felly Eleasar ac Ithamar a fu'n gwasanaethu fel offeiriaid yng ngu373?ydd eu tad Aaron.
4And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah when they offered strange fire before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood in the presence of Aaron their father.
5 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
5And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
6 "Tyrd � llwyth Lefi yma, a'u penodi i wasanaethu Aaron yr offeiriad.
6Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him;
7 Byddant yn gweini arno ef a'r holl gynulliad o flaen pabell y cyfarfod, ac yn gwasanaethu yn y tabernacl.
7and they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole assembly, before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8 Hwy fydd yn gofalu am ddodrefn pabell y cyfarfod ac yn gweini ar bobl Israel trwy wasanaethu yn y tabernacl.
8And they shall keep all the utensils of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9 Yr wyt i roi'r Lefiaid i Aaron a'i feibion; hwy yn unig o blith pobl Israel a gyflwynir yn arbennig iddo ef.
9And thou shalt give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given to him out of the children of Israel.
10 Yr wyt i urddo Aaron a'i feibion i wasanaethu fel offeiriaid; ond rhodder i farwolaeth bwy bynnag arall a ddaw'n agos."
10And Aaron and his sons shalt thou appoint that they may attend to their priest's office; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
11 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
11And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
12 "Edrych, yr wyf wedi neilltuo'r Lefiaid o blith pobl Israel yn lle pob cyntafanedig a ddaw allan o'r groth; bydd y Lefiaid yn eiddo i mi,
12And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn that breaketh open the womb among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine;
13 oherwydd eiddof fi yw pob cyntafanedig. Ar y dydd y trewais bob cyntafanedig yng ngwlad yr Aifft, cysegrais i mi fy hun bob cyntafanedig yn Israel, yn ddyn ac anifail; eiddof fi ydynt. Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD."
13for every firstborn is mine. On the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both of man and beast; mine shall they be: I am Jehovah.
14 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses yn anialwch Sinai,
14And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15 "Yr wyt i gyfrif meibion Lefi yn �l eu teuluoedd a'u tylwythau; gwna gyfrif o bob gwryw mis oed a throsodd."
15Number the sons of Levi according to their fathers' houses, after their families; every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
16 Felly cyfrifodd Moses hwy yn union fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo.
16And Moses numbered them, according to the commandment of Jehovah, -- as he had been commanded.
17 Enwau meibion Lefi oedd: Gerson, Cohath a Merari.
17And these are the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18 Dyma enwau meibion Gerson yn �l eu tylwythau: Libni a Simei.
18And these are the names of the sons of Gershon according to their families: Libni and Shimei.
19 Meibion Cohath yn �l eu tylwythau: Amram, Ishar, Hebron ac Ussiel.
19And the sons of Kohath according to their families: Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
20 Meibion Merari yn �l eu tylwythau: Mahli a Musi. Dyma dylwythau'r Lefiaid, yn �l eu teuluoedd.
20And the sons of Merari according to their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
21 O Gerson y daeth tylwyth y Libniaid a thylwyth y Simiaid; dyma dylwythau'r Gersoniaid.
21Of Gershon, the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22 Ar �l rhifo pob gwryw mis oed a throsodd, eu cyfanswm oedd saith mil a phum cant.
22Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.
23 Yr oedd teuluoedd y Gersoniaid i wersyllu i'r gorllewin, y tu �l i'r tabernacl.
23The families of the Gershonites encamped behind the tabernacle westward.
24 Eliasaff fab Lael oedd penteulu'r Gersoniaid.
24And the prince of the father's house of the Gershonites was Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25 Ym mhabell y cyfarfod yr oedd meibion Gerson yn gofalu am y tabernacl a'i babell, y llenni, y gorchudd dros ddrws pabell y cyfarfod,
25And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting was: the tabernacle and the tent, its covering, and the curtain of the entrance to the tent of meeting.
26 llenni'r cyntedd, y gorchudd dros ddrws y cyntedd sydd o amgylch y tabernacl, yr allor a'r rhaffau, a phopeth ynglu375?n �'u gwasanaeth.
26And the hangings of the court, and the curtain of the entrance to the court, which surrounds the tabernacle and the altar, and the cords thereof for all its service.
27 O Cohath y daeth tylwythau'r Amramiaid, yr Ishariaid, yr Hebroniaid a'r Ussieliaid; dyma dylwythau'r Cohathiaid.
27And of Kohath, the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
28 Ar �l rhifo pob gwryw mis oed a throsodd, eu cyfanswm oedd wyth mil a chwe chant, a hwy oedd yn gofalu am wasanaeth y cysegr.
28According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, who kept the charge of the sanctuary.
29 Yr oedd tylwythau'r Cohathiaid i wersyllu i'r de o'r tabernacl.
29The families of the sons of Kohath encamped on the side of the tabernacle southward.
30 Elisaffan fab Ussiel oedd penteulu'r Cohathiaid.
30And the prince of the father's house of the families of the Kohathites was Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31 Yr oeddent hwy i ofalu am yr arch, y bwrdd, y canhwyllbren, yr allorau, y llestri a ddefnyddid yn y cysegr, y gorchudd, a phopeth ynglu375?n �'u gwasanaeth.
31And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, and the curtain, and all that belongs to its service.
32 Prif arweinydd y Lefiaid oedd Eleasar fab Aaron yr offeiriad, ac ef oedd yn goruchwylio'r rhai oedd yn gofalu am y cysegr.
32And the prince of princes of the Levites was Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest: he had the oversight of them that kept the charge of the sanctuary.
33 O Merari y daeth tylwythau'r Mahliaid a'r Musiaid; dyma dylwythau Merari.
33Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
34 Ar �l cyfrif pob gwryw mis oed a throsodd, eu cyfanswm oedd chwe mil a dau gant.
34And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
35 Suriel fab Abihael oedd penteulu Merari; yr oeddent i wersyllu i'r gogledd o'r tabernacl.
35And the prince of the father's house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They encamped on the side of the tabernacle northward.
36 Y Merariaid oedd i ofalu am fframiau'r tabernacl, y barrau, y colofnau, y traed, yr offer i gyd, a phopeth ynglu375?n �'u gwasanaeth;
36And the charge of the sons of Merari consisted in the oversight of the boards of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its bases, and all its furniture, and all that belongs to its service,
37 hefyd am golofnau'r cyntedd o amgylch, ynghyd �'r traed, yr hoelion a'r rhaffau.
37and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pegs, and their cords.
38 Yr oedd Moses ac Aaron a'i feibion i wersyllu i'r dwyrain o'r tabernacl, tua chodiad haul, sef o flaen pabell y cyfarfod. Hwy oedd i ofalu am wasanaeth y cysegr a gweini ar bobl Israel; ond yr oedd pwy bynnag arall a dd�i'n agos i'w roi i farwolaeth.
38And those who encamped before the tabernacle eastward, before the tent of meeting toward the sunrising, were Moses, and Aaron and his sons, who kept the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
39 Cyfanswm y Lefiaid a gyfrifodd Moses ac Aaron yn �l eu tylwythau ar orchymyn yr ARGLWYDD, gan gynnwys pob gwryw mis oed a throsodd, oedd dwy fil ar hugain.
39All that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Jehovah, according to their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
40 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Yr wyt i gyfrif pob gwryw cyntafanedig o blith pobl Israel sy'n fis oed a throsodd, a'u rhestru yn �l eu henwau.
40And Jehovah said to Moses, Number all the first-born males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41 Yna, neilltua'r Lefiaid i mi yn lle pob cyntafanedig o blith pobl Israel, ac anifeiliaid y Lefiaid yn lle'r cyntafanedig o'u hanifeiliaid hwy; myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD."
41And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am Jehovah) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites, instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
42 Felly cyfrifodd Moses bob cyntafanedig o blith pobl Israel, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo.
42And Moses numbered, as Jehovah had commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
43 Ar �l cyfrif pob gwryw cyntafanedig mis oed a throsodd, a'u rhestru wrth eu henwau, yr oedd eu cyfanswm yn ddwy fil ar hugain dau gant saith deg a thri.
43And all the firstborn males, by the number of the names, from a month old and upward, according to their numbering, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.
44 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
44And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
45 "Neilltua'r Lefiaid yn lle pob cyntafanedig o blith yr Israeliaid, ac anifeiliaid y Lefiaid yn lle eu hanifeiliaid hwy. Bydd y Lefiaid yn eiddo i mi; myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD.
45Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am Jehovah.
46 Yn iawn am y plant cyntafanedig sy'n eiddo i bobl Israel, sef y dau gant saith deg a thri sy'n rhagor nag eiddo'r Lefiaid,
46And for those that are to be ransomed, the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are in excess over the Levites,
47 cymer am bob un ohonynt bum sicl, yn �l sicl y cysegr sy'n pwyso ugain gera;
47thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, according to the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them, -- twenty gerahs the shekel;
48 yna rho'r arian sy'n iawn drostynt i Aaron a'i feibion."
48and thou shalt give the money unto Aaron and unto his sons for those in excess among them who are to be ransomed.
49 Felly cymerodd Moses yr arian oedd yn iawn dros y rhai oedd yn ychwanegol at y nifer a brynwyd trwy'r Lefiaid,
49And Moses took the ransom-money from them that were over and above those who were ransomed by the Levites;
50 ac am blant cyntafanedig Israel cafodd fil tri chant chwe deg a phump o siclau, yn �l sicl y cysegr.
50of the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five [shekels], according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
51 Yna rhoddodd Moses i Aaron a'i feibion yr arian a gymerodd yn iawn, yn union fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo.
51And Moses gave the money of them that were ransomed to Aaron and to his sons, according to the commandment of Jehovah, -- as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
