1 Gwelwyd arwydd mawr yn y nef, gwraig wedi ei gwisgo 'r haul, a'r lleuad dan ei thraed a choron o ddeuddeg seren ar ei phen.
1And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;
2 Yr oedd yn feichiog, ac yn gweiddi yn ei gwewyr a'i hing am gael esgor.
2and being with child she cried, [being] in travail, and in pain to bring forth.
3 Yna gwelwyd arwydd arall yn y nef, draig fflamgoch fawr, a chanddi saith ben a deg corn, ac ar ei phennau saith diadem.
3And another sign was seen in the heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems;
4 Ysgubodd ei chynffon draean o sr y nef a'u bwrw i'r ddaear. Safodd y ddraig o flaen y wraig oedd ar fin esgor, er mwyn llyncu ei phlentyn ar ei eni.
4and his tail draws the third part of the stars of the heaven; and he cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, in order that when she brought forth he might devour her child.
5 Esgorodd hi ar blentyn gwryw, hwnnw sydd i lywodraethu'r holl genhedloedd gwialen haearn; ond cipiwyd ei phlentyn at Dduw a'i orsedd ef.
5And she brought forth a male son, who shall shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to his throne.
6 Ffodd y wraig i'r anialwch; yno y mae ganddi le wedi ei baratoi gan Dduw, i'w chynnal ynddo am ddeuddeg cant a thrigain o ddyddiau.
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared of God, that they should nourish her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty days.
7 Yna bu rhyfel yn y nef, Mihangel a'i angylion yn rhyfela yn erbyn y ddraig. Rhyfelodd y ddraig a'i hangylion hithau,
7And there was war in the heaven: Michael and his angels went to war with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels;
8 ond ni orchfygodd, a bellach nid oedd lle iddynt yn y nef.
8and he prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven.
9 Fe'i bwriwyd hi, y ddraig fawr, yr hen sarff, a elwir Diafol a Satan, yr un sy'n twyllo'r holl fyd, fe'i bwriwyd i'r ddaear a'i hangylion gyda hi.
9And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Yna clywais lais uchel yn y nef yn dweud: "Hon yw awr gwaredigaeth a gallu a brenhiniaeth ein Duw ni, ac awdurdod ei Grist ef, oherwydd bwriwyd i lawr gyhuddwr ein cymrodyr, yr hwn sy'n eu cyhuddo gerbron ein Duw ddydd a nos.
10And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who accused them before our God day and night:
11 Ond y maent hwy wedi ei orchfygu trwy waed yr Oen a thrwy air eu tystiolaeth, yn ddibris o'u bywyd hyd angau.
11and *they* have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony, and have not loved their life even unto death.
12 Am hynny, gorfoleddwch, chwi'r nefoedd, a chwi sy'n preswylio ynddynt! Gwae chwi'r ddaear a'r mr, oherwydd disgynnodd y diafol arnoch yn fawr ei lid, o wybod mai byr yw'r amser sydd ganddo!"
12Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time.
13 Pan welodd y ddraig ei bod wedi ei bwrw i'r ddaear, aeth i erlid y wraig a esgorodd ar y plentyn gwryw.
13And when the dragon saw that he had been cast out into the earth, he persecuted the woman which bore the male [child].
14 Ond rhoddwyd i'r wraig ddwy adain eryr mawr er mwyn iddi hedfan i'r anialwch i'w lle ei hun, i'w chynnal yno am amser ac amserau a hanner amser, o olwg y sarff.
14And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert into her place, where she is nourished there a time, and times, and half a time, from [the] face of the serpent.
15 Poerodd y sarff o'i genau afon o ddu373?r ar l y wraig, i'w hysgubo ymaith gyda'r llif.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth behind the woman water as a river, that he might make her be [as] one carried away by a river.
16 Ond rhoes y ddaear ddihangfa i'r wraig: agorodd y ddaear ei genau a llyncu'r afon a boerodd y ddraig o'i genau.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 Llidiodd y ddraig wrth y wraig, ac aeth ymaith i ryfela yn erbyn gweddill ei phlant hi, y rhai sy'n cadw gorchmynion Duw ac yn glynu wrth dystiolaeth Iesu.
17And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.
