¹ Yna dangosodd imi Josua yr archoffeiriad, yn sefyll o flaen angel yr ARGLWYDD, a Satan yn sefyll ar ei ddeheulaw i'w gyhuddo.

¹And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

² A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Satan, "Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn dy geryddu di, Satan; yr ARGLWYDD, yr un a ddewisodd Jerwsalem, sy'n dy geryddu di. Onid marworyn wedi ei arbed o'r t�n yw hwn?"

²And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan! Yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

³ Yr oedd Josua yn sefyll o flaen yr angel mewn dillad budron;

³And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the Angel.

⁴ a dywedodd yr angel wrth ei osgordd, "Tynnwch y dillad budron oddi amdano." Dywedodd wrth Josua, "Edrych fel y symudais dy euogrwydd oddi wrthyt, ac fe'th wisgaf � gwisgoedd gwynion."

⁴And he spoke and said unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, See, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I clothe thee with festival-robes.

⁵ Dywedodd hefyd, "Rhodder twrban gl�n am ei ben"; a rhoesant dwrban gl�n am ei ben, a dillad amdano; ac yr oedd angel yr ARGLWYDD yn sefyll gerllaw.

⁵And I said, Let them set a pure turban upon his head. And they set the pure turban upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the Angel of Jehovah stood by.

⁶ Yna rhybuddiodd angel yr ARGLWYDD Josua a dweud,

⁶And the Angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying,

⁷ "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd: 'Os rhodi yn fy ffyrdd a chadw fy ngorchmynion, cei reoli fy nhu375? a gofalu am fy llysoedd, a rhof iti'r hawl i fynd a dod gyda'r osgordd.

⁷Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts; and I will give thee a place to walk among these that stand by.

⁸ Gwrando, Josua yr archoffeiriad, ti a'th gyfeillion sydd ger dy fron, oherwydd arwyddion yw'r dynion hyn. Wele fi'n arwain allan fy ngwas, y Blaguryn.

⁸Hear now, Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee -- for they are men of portent -- for behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

⁹ Dyma'r garreg a osodaf o flaen Josua, carreg ac iddi saith llygad, ac wele fi'n egluro eu hystyr,' medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd. 'Symudaf ymaith euogrwydd y tir hwn mewn un diwrnod.

⁹For behold, the stone that I have laid before Joshua -- upon one stone are seven eyes; behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in one day.

¹⁰ Y dydd hwnnw,' medd ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, 'byddwch yn gwahodd bob un ei gilydd i eistedd o dan ei winwydden ac o dan ei ffigysbren.'"

¹⁰In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig-tree.
