1 Penderfynais beidio � dod atoch unwaith eto mewn tristwch.
1¶ Otira kua takoto tenei i roto i ahau, kia kaua toku hokinga atu ki a koutou e waiho i runga i te pouri.
2 Oherwydd os wyf fi'n eich trist�u, pwy fydd yna i'm llonni i ond y sawl a wnaed yn drist gennyf fi?
2Na, ki te whakapouri hoki ahau i a koutou, ko wai hoki hei whakaora i toku ngakau? ko ia anake e whakapouritia nei e ahau.
3 Ac ysgrifennais y llythyr hwnnw rhag imi ddod atoch, a chael tristwch gan y rhai a ddylai roi llawenydd imi. Y mae gennyf hyder amdanoch chwi oll, fod fy llawenydd i yn llawenydd i chwithau i gyd.
3A i tuhituhi atu ahau i taua mea nei ano ki a koutou, kei tae atu ahau, ka whakapouritia ahau e te hunga i tika nei ma ratou ahau e whakahari; i te u o toku whakaaro ki a koutou katoa, ko toku hari te hari o koutou katoa.
4 Oherwydd ysgrifennais atoch o ganol gorthrymder mawr a gofid calon, ac mewn dagrau lawer, nid i'ch trist�u chwi ond er mwyn ichwi wybod mor helaeth yw'r cariad sydd gennyf tuag atoch.
4He nui hoki no te pouri, no te mamae o te ngakau, i tuhituhi atu ai ahau ki a koutou me nga roimata maha: ehara i te mea hei whakapouri i a koutou, engari kia matau ai koutou ki toku aroha e hira rawa nei ki a koutou.
5 Os yw rhywun wedi peri tristwch, nid i mi y gwnaeth hynny, ond i chwi i gyd � i raddau, beth bynnag, rhag i mi or-ddweud.
5¶ Mehemea na tetahi i whakapouri, ehara i te mea e whakapouri ana ia i ahau, engari i a koutou katoa; i tetahi wahi ia, e kore nei ahau e mea rawa he nui.
6 Digon i'r fath un y gosb hon a osodwyd arno gan y mwyafrif,
6E rahi ana mo taua tu tangata ko tenei whiu i whakapangia nei e te tokomaha.
7 a'ch gwaith chwi bellach yw maddau iddo a'i ddiddanu, rhag iddo gael ei lethu gan ormod o dristwch.
7Engari rawa ia me whakarere noa iho tana e koutou, ka whakamarie i a ia, kei tupono ka horomia ia e tona pouri nui rawa.
8 Am hynny yr wyf yn eich cymell i adfer eich cariad tuag ato.
8Koia ahau ka inoi ki a koutou, kia whakaukia to koutou aroha ki a ia.
9 Oherwydd f'amcan wrth ysgrifennu oedd eich gosod dan brawf, i weld a ydych yn ufudd ym mhob peth.
9Na konei ano hoki ahau i tuhituhi atu ai, hei whakamatau i a koutou, mehemea e ngohengohe ana koutou i nga mea katoa.
10 Y sawl yr ydych chwi'n maddau rhywbeth iddo, yr wyf fi'n maddau iddo hefyd. A'r hyn yr wyf fi wedi ei faddau, os oedd gennyf rywbeth i'w faddau, fe'i maddeuais er eich mwyn chwi yng ngolwg Crist,
10Ko te tangata e whakarerea ai e koutou tana, ka whakarerea ano e ahau: ko taku hoki i whakarere noa ai, mehemea i pera ahau, he whakaaro ki a koutou, i whakarerea noatia e ahau i te aroaro o te Karaiti;
11 rhag i Satan gael mantais arnom, oherwydd fe wyddom yn dda am ei ddichellion ef.
11Kei ra rungatia mai tatou e Hatana: ehara hoki tatou i te kuware ki ana rauhanga.
12 Pan ddeuthum i Troas i bregethu Efengyl Crist, er bod drws wedi ei agor i'm gwaith yn yr Arglwydd,
12¶ Na, i toku taenga ki Toroa ki te kauwhau i te rongopai o te Karaiti, a ka puare mai ki ahau tetahi kuwaha, he mea na te Ariki,
13 ni chefais lonydd i'm hysbryd am na ddeuthum o hyd i'm brawd Titus. Felly cenais yn iach iddynt, a chychwyn am Facedonia.
13Kahore he tanga mo toku wairua, he kore i kite i toku teina, i a Taituha: heoi ka poroporoaki ahau ki a ratou, ka haere ki Makeronia.
14 Ond i Dduw y bo'r diolch, sydd bob amser yn ein harwain ni yng Nghrist yng ngorymdaith ei fuddugoliaeth ef, ac sydd ym mhob man, trwom ni, yn taenu ar led bersawr yr adnabyddiaeth ohono.
14Na, me whakawhetai ki te Atua, e mea tonu nei i a matou kia whakamanamana i roto i a te Karaiti, e whakaatu nei ma roto i a matou i te ha o tona matauranga i nga wahi katoa.
15 Canys perarogl Crist ydym ni i Dduw, i'r rhai sydd ar lwybr iachawdwriaeth ac i'r rhai sydd ar lwybr colledigaeth;
15He kakara pai hoki matou no te Karaiti ki te Atua, i runga i te hunga e whakaorangia ana, i runga ano i te hunga e whakangaromia ana:
16 i'r naill, arogl marwol yn arwain i farwolaeth; i'r lleill, persawr bywiol yn arwain i fywyd. Pwy sydd ddigonol i'r gwaith hwn?
16Ki tetahi he kakara no te mate ki te mate; ki tetahi he kakara no te ora ki te ora. A ko wai e tau mo enei mea?
17 Oherwydd nid pedlera gair Duw yr ydym ni fel y gwna cynifer, ond llefaru fel dynion didwyll, fel cenhadon Duw, a hynny yng ngu373?ydd Duw, yng Nghrist.
