¹ Casglodd Dafydd i Jerwsalem holl swyddogion Israel, arweinwyr y llwythau, swyddogion y dosbarthiadau a oedd yn gwasanaethu'r brenin, capteiniaid y miloedd a'r cannoedd, arolygwyr holl eiddo a gwartheg y brenin a'i feibion, ynghyd �'r eunuchiaid, y rhyfelwyr a phob gu373?r nerthol.

¹David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies who served the king by division, and the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, and the rulers over all the substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officers, and the mighty men, even all the mighty men of valor, to Jerusalem.

² Cododd y Brenin Dafydd ar ei draed a dweud, "Gwrandewch arnaf fi, fy mrodyr a'm pobl. Yr oeddwn �'m bryd ar adeiladu tu375?, yn orffwysfa i arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD ac yn droedfainc i'n Duw, a pharatoais i wneud hynny.

²Then David the king stood up on his feet, and said, “Hear me, my brothers, and my people! As for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for the footstool of our God; and I had prepared for the building.

³ Ond dywedodd Duw wrthyf, 'Ni chei di adeiladu tu375? i mi, oherwydd buost yn rhyfelwr ac yn tywallt gwaed.'

³But God said to me, ‘You shall not build a house for my name, because you are a man of war, and have shed blood.’

⁴ Dewisodd ARGLWYDD Dduw Israel fyfi o'm holl deulu i fod yn frenin ar Israel am byth; dewisodd Jwda i arwain, ac o fewn Jwda fy nheulu i, ac o blith meibion fy nhad, i mi y rhoes y fraint o fod yn frenin ar Israel gyfan.

⁴However Yahweh, the God of Israel, chose me out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For he has chosen Judah to be prince; and in the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel.

⁵ O'm holl feibion � ac fe roddodd yr ARGLWYDD lawer ohonynt imi � fe ddewisodd fy mab Solomon i eistedd ar orsedd frenhinol yr ARGLWYDD dros Israel.

⁵Of all my sons (for Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of Yahweh’s kingdom over Israel.

⁶ Dywedodd wrthyf, 'Dy fab Solomon sydd i adeiladu fy nhu375? a'm cynteddau, oherwydd dewisais ef yn fab imi, a byddaf finnau'n dad iddo yntau.

⁶He said to me, ‘Solomon, your son, shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

⁷ Sefydlaf ei frenhiniaeth ef am byth, os bydd yn ymdrechu i gadw fy ngorchmynion a'm cyfreithiau fel y gwneir heddiw.'

⁷I will establish his kingdom forever, if he continues to do my commandments and my ordinances, as at this day.’

⁸ Yn awr, yng ngu373?ydd holl Israel, sef cynulleidfa yr ARGLWYDD, ac yng nghlyw ein Duw ni, gofalwch gadw holl orchmynion yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, er mwyn i chwi feddiannu'r wlad dda hon a'i gadael yn etifeddiaeth i'ch meibion am byth.

⁸Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of Yahweh, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Yahweh your God; that you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever.

⁹ A thithau, Solomon fy mab, bydded i ti adnabod Duw dy dad, a'i wasanaethu ef � chalon berffaith ac ysbryd ewyllysgar, oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn chwilio pob calon ac yn deall holl ddychymyg y meddwl. Os ceisi ef, fe'i cei; ond os gwrthodi ef, bydd yntau'n dy wrthod dithau am byth.

⁹You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

¹⁰ Ystyria'n awr, oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD wedi dy ddewis i adeiladu tu375? yn gysegr iddo; bydd gryf, a dechrau ar y gwaith."

¹⁰Take heed now; for Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”

¹¹ Rhoddodd Dafydd i'w fab Solomon gynllun porth y deml, a'i hadeiladau, ei hystordai, ei goruwchystafelloedd, ei hystafelloedd mewnol a'r drugareddfa.

¹¹Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch of the temple, and of its houses, and of its treasuries, and of the upper rooms of it, and of the inner rooms of it, and of the place of the mercy seat;

¹² Rhoddodd iddo hefyd gynllun o'r cyfan a gafodd trwy'r ysbryd ynglu375?n � chynteddau tu375?'r ARGLWYDD, yr holl ystafelloedd o'i gwmpas, trysordai tu375? Dduw a thrysordai'r pethau cysegredig.

¹²and the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, for the courts of the house of Yahweh, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of God’s house, and for the treasuries of the dedicated things;

¹³ Rhoddodd iddo gyfarwyddyd am ddosbarthiadau'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid, yr holl waith ynglu375?n � thu375?'r ARGLWYDD, a'r holl lestri ar gyfer y gwasanaeth.

¹³also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all the vessels of service in the house of Yahweh;

¹⁴ Pennodd bwysau'r aur ar gyfer yr offer aur, a'r arian ar gyfer yr offer arian a ddefnyddid yn y gwahanol wasanaethau:

¹⁴of gold by weight for the gold, for all vessels of every kind of service; for all the vessels of silver by weight, for all vessels of every kind of service;

¹⁵ pwysau'r aur ar gyfer y canwyllbrennau aur a'u lampau; pwysau'r arian ar gyfer y canwyll-brennau arian, yn �l pwysau pob canhwyllbren a'i lampau, a'r defnydd a wneid ohonynt;

¹⁵by weight also for the lampstands of gold, and for its lamps, of gold, by weight for every lampstand and for its lamps; and for the lampstands of silver, by weight for every lampstand and for its lamps, according to the use of every lampstand;

¹⁶ pwysau'r aur ar gyfer un o fyrddau'r bara gosod, ac arian ar gyfer y byrddau arian;

¹⁶and the gold by weight for the tables of show bread, for every table; and silver for the tables of silver;

¹⁷ aur pur ar gyfer y ffyrch, y costrelau a'r dysglau; pwysau'r aur ar gyfer y cawgiau aur, a phwysau'r arian ar gyfer y cawgiau arian;

¹⁷and the forks, and the basins, and the cups, of pure gold; and for the golden bowls by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls by weight for every bowl;

¹⁸ pwysau'r aur coeth ar gyfer allor yr arogldarth. Rhoddodd iddo hefyd gynllun cerbyd, a'r cerwbiaid aur oedd ag adenydd estynedig yn gorchuddio arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD.

¹⁸and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot, the cherubim, that spread out, and covered the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.

¹⁹ "Hyn oll," meddai Dafydd, "a ysgrifennwyd gan law yr ARGLWYDD; fy nghyfrifoldeb i oedd deall sut yr oedd pob cynllun yn gweithio."

¹⁹“All this,” said David, “I have been made to understand in writing from the hand of Yahweh, even all the works of this pattern.”

²⁰ Yna dywedodd Dafydd wrth ei fab Solomon, "Bydd yn gryf a dewr, a dechrau ar y gwaith; paid ag ofni na digalonni, oherwydd y mae'r ARGLWYDD Dduw, fy Nuw i, gyda thi; ni fydd yn cefnu arnat na'th adael cyn iti orffen y cyfan sy'n angenrheidiol at wasanaeth tu375?'r ARGLWYDD.

²⁰David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of Yahweh is finished.

²¹ Dyma ddosbarth-iadau'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid ar gyfer holl wasanaeth tu375? Dduw. Trwy gydol y gwaith fe fydd pob crefftwr ewyllysgar gyda thi, a bydd y swyddogion a'r holl bobl yn barod i ufuddhau iti."

²¹Behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites, for all the service of God’s house. There shall be with you in all kinds of work every willing man who has skill, for any kind of service. Also the captains and all the people will be entirely at your command.”
