1 Minnau, gyfeillion, ni ellais lefaru wrthych fel wrth rai ysbrydol, ond fel wrth rai cnawdol, fel babanod yng Nghrist.
1Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
2 Llaeth a roddais i chwi'n ymborth, ac nid bwyd solet, oherwydd nid oeddech eto'n barod. Ac nid ydych yn barod yn awr chwaith,
2I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready,
3 oherwydd cnawdol ydych o hyd. Oherwydd, tra bo cenfigen a chynnen yn eich plith, onid cnawdol ydych, ac yn ymddwyn yn �l safonau dynol?
3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
4 Pan yw un yn dweud, "Yr wyf fi'n perthyn i blaid Paul", ac un arall, "Minnau, i blaid Apolos", onid dynol ydych?
4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
5 Beth ynteu yw Apolos? Neu beth yw Paul? Dim ond gweision y daethoch chwi i gredu drwyddynt, a phob un yn cyflawni'r gorchwyl a gafodd gan yr Arglwydd.
5Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him?
6 Myfi a blannodd, Apolos a ddyfrhaodd, ond Duw oedd yn rhoi'r tyfiant.
6I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
7 Felly, nid yw'r sawl sy'n plannu yn ddim, na'r sawl sy'n dyfrhau, ond Duw, rhoddwr y tyfiant.
7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
8 Yr un sy'n plannu a'r un sy'n dyfrhau, un ydynt, ac fe dderbyn y naill a'r llall ei d�l ei hun, yn �l ei lafur ei hun.
8Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 Canys eiddo Duw ydym ni, fel cydweithwyr; gardd Duw, adeiladwaith Duw, ydych chwi.
9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
10 Yn �l y gorchwyl a roddodd Duw i mi o'i ras, mi osodais sylfaen, fel prifadeiladydd celfydd, ac y mae rhywun arall yn adeiladu arni. Gwylied pob un pa fodd y mae'n adeiladu arni.
10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
11 Ni all neb osod sylfaen arall yn lle'r un sydd wedi ei gosod, ac Iesu Grist yw honno.
11For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Os bydd i neb adeiladu ar y sylfaen ag aur, arian, a meini gwerthfawr, neu � choed, gwair, a gwellt,
12But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
13 daw gwaith pob un i'r amlwg, oherwydd y Dydd a'i dengys. Canys � th�n y datguddir y Dydd hwnnw, a bydd y t�n yn profi ansawdd gwaith pob un.
13each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
14 Os bydd y gwaith a adeiladodd rhywun ar y sylfaen yn aros, caiff d�l.
14If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
15 Os llosgir gwaith rhywun, caiff ddwyn y golled, ond fe achubir yr adeiladydd ei hun, ond dim ond megis trwy d�n.
15If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
16 Oni wyddoch mai teml Duw ydych, a bod Ysbryd Duw yn trigo ynoch?
16Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
17 Os bydd rhywun yn dinistrio teml Duw, bydd Duw'n ei ddinistrio yntau, oherwydd y mae teml Duw yn sanctaidd, a chwi yw'r deml honno.
17If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
18 Peidied neb �'i dwyllo'i hunan; os oes rhywun yn eich plith yn tybio ei fod yn ddoeth yn �l safonau'r oes hon, bydded ff�l, er mwyn dod yn ddoeth.
18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.
19 Oherwydd y mae doethineb y byd hwn yn ffolineb yng ngolwg Duw. Y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Y mae ef yn dal y doethion yn eu cyfrwystra",
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.” Job 5:13
20 ac eto: "Y mae'r Arglwydd yn gwybod meddyliau'r doethion, mai ofer ydynt."
20And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.” Psalm 94:11
21 Felly peidied neb ag ymffrostio mewn arweinwyr dynol. Oherwydd y mae pob peth yn eiddo i chwi �
21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
22 Paul, Apolos, Ceffas, y byd, bywyd, angau, y presennol, y dyfodol � pob peth yn eiddo i chwi,
22whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
23 a chwithau yn eiddo Crist, a Christ yn eiddo Duw.
23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
