1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Nadd ddwy lech garreg, fel y rhai cyntaf, ac fe ysgrifennaf arnynt y geiriau oedd ar y llechau cyntaf, a dorraist.
1Yahweh said to Moses, “Chisel two stone tablets like the first: and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.
2 Bydd barod erbyn y bore, a thyrd i fyny'n gynnar i Fynydd Sinai, ac aros amdanaf yno ar ben y mynydd.
2Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.
3 Nid oes neb i ddod i fyny gyda thi, nac i ymddangos yn unman ar y mynydd; a phaid gadael i ddefaid na gwartheg bori ar gyfyl y mynydd hwn."
3No one shall come up with you; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.”
4 Felly naddodd Moses ddwy lech garreg, fel y rhai cyntaf, a chododd yn fore ac aeth i fyny i Fynydd Sinai, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi gorchymyn iddo, a chymerodd yn ei law y ddwy lech garreg.
4He chiseled two tablets of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand two stone tablets.
5 Disgynnodd yr ARGLWYDD mewn cwmwl, a safodd yno gydag ef, a chyhoeddi ei enw, ARGLWYDD.
5Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahweh.
6 Aeth yr ARGLWYDD heibio o'i flaen, a chyhoeddi: "Yr ARGLWYDD, yr ARGLWYDD, Duw trugarog a graslon, araf i ddigio, llawn cariad a ffyddlondeb;
6Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, “Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,
7 yn dangos cariad i filoedd, yn maddau drygioni a gwrthryfel a phechod, ond heb adael yr euog yn ddi-gosb, ac yn cosbi plant, a phlant eu plant, hyd y drydedd a'r bedwaredd genhedlaeth, am ddrygioni eu hynafiaid."
7keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”
8 Brysiodd Moses i ymgrymu tua'r llawr ac addoli.
8Moses hurried and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.
9 Yna dywedodd, "Os cefais yn awr ffafr yn d'olwg, O ARGLWYDD, boed i ti fynd gyda ni. Er bod y bobl yn wargaled, maddau ein gwrthryfel a'n pechod, a chymer ni yn etifeddiaeth i ti."
9He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us; although this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”
10 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD, "Edrych, yr wyf am wneud cyfamod. Yng ngu373?ydd dy holl bobl gwnaf ryfeddodau na wnaed eu tebyg ymhlith unrhyw genedl ar yr holl ddaear; yna bydd yr holl bobl yr wyt yn eu mysg yn gweld gwaith yr ARGLWYDD, oherwydd yr wyf am wneud thi beth syfrdanol.
10He said, “Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.
11 Cadw'r hyn yr wyf yn ei orchymyn iti heddiw, a gyrraf allan o'th flaen yr Amoriaid, Canaaneaid, Hethiaid, Peresiaid, Hefiaid a Jebusiaid.
11Observe that which I command you this day. Behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
12 Gwylia rhag iti wneud cyfamod thrigolion y wlad yr ei iddi, rhag iddynt fod yn fagl iti.
12Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you:
13 Dinistriwch eu hallorau, drylliwch eu colofnau, a thorrwch i lawr eu pyst.
13but you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their Asherim;
14 Paid ag ymgrymu i dduw arall, oherwydd
14for you shall worship no other god: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
15 Eiddigeddus yw enw'r ARGLWYDD, a Duw eiddigeddus ydyw. Paid gwneud cyfamod thrigolion y wlad rhag iddynt, wrth buteinio ar l eu duwiau ac aberthu iddynt, dy wahodd dithau i fwyta o'u haberth,
15“Don’t make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, lest they play the prostitute after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and one call you and you eat of his sacrifice;
16 ac i gymryd eu merched i'th feibion; a rhag i'w merched, wrth iddynt buteinio ar l eu duwiau, wneud i'th feibion buteinio ar l eu duwiau hwy.
16and you take of their daughters to your sons, and their daughters play the prostitute after their gods, and make your sons play the prostitute after their gods.
17 "Paid gwneud i ti ddelwau tawdd.
17“You shall make no cast idols for yourselves.
18 "Cadw u373?yl y Bara Croyw. Yr wyt i fwyta bara croyw am saith diwrnod ar yr amser penodedig ym mis Abib, fel y gorchmynnais iti, oherwydd ym mis Abib y daethost allan o'r Aifft.
18“You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.
19 "Eiddof fi yw'r cyntaf a ddaw o'r groth, y cyntafanedig o'th holl anifeiliaid gwryw, yn wartheg ac yn ddefaid.
19“All that opens the womb is mine; and all your livestock that is male, the firstborn of cow and sheep.
20 Yr wyt i gyfnewid cyntafanedig asyn am oen, ac os na fyddi'n ei gyfnewid, tor ei wddf. Yr wyt i gyfnewid pob cyntafanedig o'th feibion. Nid oes neb i ymddangos o'm blaen yn waglaw.
20The firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. No one shall appear before me empty.
21 "Am chwe diwrnod yr wyt i weithio, ond ar y seithfed dydd yr wyt i orffwys, boed yn amser aredig neu yn gynhaeaf.
21“Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.
22 "Cadw hefyd u373?yl yr Wythnosau, blaenffrwyth y cynhaeaf gwenith, a gu373?yl y Cynnull ar ddiwedd y flwyddyn.
22“You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.
23 Y mae pob gwryw yn eich plith i ymddangos o flaen yr ARGLWYDD Dduw, Duw Israel, deirgwaith y flwyddyn.
23Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel.
24 Byddaf finnau'n gyrru cenhedloedd allan o'th flaen ac yn estyn dy derfynau, rhag i neb chwennych dy dir pan fyddi'n ymddangos deirgwaith y flwyddyn o flaen yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw.
24For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land when you go up to appear before Yahweh, your God, three times in the year.
25 "Paid ag offrymu gwaed fy aberth gyda bara lefeinllyd, a phaid chadw aberth gu373?yl y Pasg dros nos hyd y bore.
25“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left to the morning.
26 "Yr wyt i ddod 'r gorau o flaenffrwyth dy dir i du375?'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw. "Paid berwi myn yn llaeth ei fam."
26“You shall bring the first of the first fruits of your ground to the house of Yahweh your God. “You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
27 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Ysgrifenna'r geiriau hyn, oherwydd yn l y geiriau hyn y gwneuthum gyfamod thi ac ag Israel."
27Yahweh said to Moses, “Write you these words: for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
28 Bu Moses yno gyda'r ARGLWYDD am ddeugain diwrnod a deugain nos, heb fwyta bara nac yfed du373?r, ac ysgrifennodd ar y llechau eiriau'r cyfamod, sef y deg gorchymyn.
28He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
29 Pan ddaeth Moses i lawr o Fynydd Sinai gyda dwy lech y dystiolaeth yn ei law, ni wyddai fod croen ei wyneb yn disgleirio ar l iddo siarad Duw.
29It happened, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, that Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.
30 Pan welodd Aaron a holl bobl Israel fod croen wyneb Moses yn disgleirio, yr oedd arnynt ofn dod yn agos ato.
30When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.
31 Ond galwodd Moses arnynt, a throdd Aaron a holl arweinwyr cynulliad Israel ato, a siaradodd Moses hwy.
31Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them.
32 Yna daeth holl bobl Israel ato, a gorchmynnodd iddynt yr holl bethau yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi eu dweud wrtho ar Fynydd Sinai.
32Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all of the commandments that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.
33 Pan orffennodd Moses siarad hwy, rhoddodd orchudd ar ei wyneb,
33When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.
34 ond pan fyddai'n mynd o flaen yr ARGLWYDD i siarad ag ef, byddai'n tynnu'r gorchudd nes iddo ddod allan, ac wedi dod allan, byddai'n dweud wrth bobl Israel yr hyn a orchmynnwyd iddo.
34But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
35 A phan welent hwy fod croen ei wyneb yn disgleirio, byddai Moses yn rhoi'r gorchudd yn l ar ei wyneb nes y byddai'n mynd i mewn eto i siarad Duw.
35The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
