1 Ar y degfed dydd o'r degfed mis yn y nawfed flwyddyn daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf a dweud,
1Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2 "Fab dyn, gwna gofnod o enw'r dydd hwn, ie, yr union ddydd hwn, oherwydd heddiw y gosododd brenin Babilon warchae ar Jerwsalem.
2Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3 Llefara ddameg wrth y tu375? gwrthryfelgar hwn, a dywed wrthynt, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW: Gosod y crochan ar y tn, ei osod a rhoi du373?r ynddo.
3Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4 Casgl ddarnau iddo y darnau dewisol, y goes a'r ysgwydd; llanw ef 'r gorau o'r esgyrn,
4gather its pieces into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5 a chymer dy ddewis o'r praidd. Gosod y coed dano, cod ef i'r berw, a berwi'r esgyrn ynddo.
5Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the caldron; make it boil well; yes, let its bones be boiled in its midst.
6 "'Felly, fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW: Gwae'r ddinas waedlyd, y crochan y mae rhwd arno, rhwd nad allan ohono! Gwagiwch ef bob yn ddarn, heb fwrw coelbren am yr un ohonynt.
6Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! take out of it piece after piece; No lot is fallen on it.
7 Yr oedd y gwaed yng nghanol y ddinas wedi ei dywallt ar y graig noeth, ac nid ar y ddaear i'r llwch ei guddio.
7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it on the bare rock; she didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8 Er mwyn ennyn llid a chodi dialedd, rhois innau ei gwaed ar graig noeth fel na ellir ei guddio.
8That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
9 "'Felly, fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW: Gwae'r ddinas waedlyd! Gwnaf fi bwll tn mawr.
9Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10 Gosod dithau ddigon o goed, cynnau'r tn, coginia'r cig, cymysga'r perlysiau, a llosger yr esgyrn.
10Heap on the wood, make the fire hot, boil well the flesh, and make thick the broth, and let the bones be burned.
11 Yna gosod y crochan yn wag ar y tanwydd nes iddo boethi ac i'w bres gochi, er mwyn toddi'r amhuredd a difa'r rhwd.
11Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its brass may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12 Yn ofer y blinais; nid 'r rhwd trwchus allan ohono hyd yn oed trwy dn.
12She has wearied herself with toil; yet her great rust doesn’t go forth out of her; her rust doesn’t go forth by fire.
13 Dy amhuredd di yw anlladrwydd; oherwydd imi geisio dy lanhau, ac na ddoit yn ln o'th amhuredd, ni fyddi'n ln eto nes i'm llid yn dy erbyn dawelu.
13In your filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14 Myfi, yr ARGLWYDD, a lefarodd; daeth yn amser imi weithredu. Ni fyddaf yn ymatal, nac yn tosturio nac yn trugarhau. Fe'th fernir yn l dy ffyrdd a'th weithredoedd,' medd yr Arglwydd DDUW."
14I, Yahweh, have spoken it: it shall happen, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord Yahweh.
15 Daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf a dweud,
15Also the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16 "Fab dyn, ag un trawiad yr wyf am gymryd oddi wrthyt yr un fwyaf dymunol yn dy olwg, ond nid wyt i alaru nac wylo na cholli dagrau.
16Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17 Ochneidia'n ddistaw, ond paid galaru am y marw. Cadw orchudd am dy ben a rho sandalau am dy draed; paid gorchuddio dy enau na bwyta bwyd galar."
17Sigh, but not aloud, make no mourning for the dead; bind your headdress on you, and put your shoes on your feet, and don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat men’s bread.
18 Yr oeddwn yn siarad 'r bobl yn y bore, a chyda'r nos bu farw fy ngwraig; bore trannoeth gwneuthum fel y gorchmynnwyd imi.
18So I spoke to the people in the morning; and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19 Yna dywedodd y bobl wrthyf, "Oni ddywedi beth sydd a wnelo'r pethau hyn a wnei ni?"
19The people said to me, Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?
20 Yna dywedais wrthynt, "Daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf a dweud,
20Then I said to them, The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
21 'Dywed wrth du375? Israel, "Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW: Yr wyf yn mynd i halogi fy nghysegr, yr hwn yr wyt yn ymfalcho yn ei gadernid, ac sydd mor ddymunol a hoff yn dy olwg. Bydd y meibion a'r merched a adawyd yn syrthio trwy'r cleddyf.
21Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22 Fe wnewch chwi fel y gwneuthum i; ni fyddwch yn gorchuddio eich genau nac yn bwyta bwyd galar.
22You shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23 Byddwch yn cadw gorchudd am eich pennau a sandalau am eich traed, heb alaru nac wylo. Ond byddwch yn dihoeni oherwydd eich camweddau ac yn ochneidio wrth eich gilydd.
23Your tires shall be on your heads, and your shoes on your feet: you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24 Bydd Eseciel yn arwydd i chwi, ac fe wnewch fel y gwnaeth ef; pan ddigwydd hyn, byddwch yn gwybod mai myfi yw'r Arglwydd DDUW."
24Thus Ezekiel shall be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25 "'Ac yn awr, fab dyn, ar y dydd pan gymeraf ymaith y gaer yr oeddent yn ymfalcho yn ei gogoniant ac a oedd mor ddymunol a hoff yn eu golwg, a phan gymeraf eu meibion a'u merched,
25You, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart, their sons and their daughters,
26 ar y dydd hwnnw fe ddaw atat ffoadur i ddweud y newydd.
26that in that day he who escapes shall come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27 Y diwrnod hwnnw fe agorir dy enau; fe siaredi 'r ffoadur ac ni fyddi'n fud mwyach. Byddi'n arwydd iddynt, a byddant yn gwybod mai myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD.'"
27In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more mute: so you will be a sign to them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
