1 Cofiodd Duw am Noa a'r holl fwystfilod a'r holl anifeiliaid oedd gydag ef yn yr arch. Parodd Duw i wynt chwythu dros y ddaear, a gostyngodd y dyfroedd;
1God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.
2 caewyd ffynhonnau'r dyfnder a ffenestri'r nefoedd, ac ataliwyd y glaw o'r nef.
2The deep’s fountains and the sky’s windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
3 Ciliodd y dyfroedd yn raddol oddi ar y ddaear, ac wedi cant a hanner o ddyddiau aeth y dyfroedd ar drai.
3The waters receded from the earth continually. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters decreased.
4 Yn y seithfed mis, ar yr ail ddydd ar bymtheg o'r mis, glaniodd yr arch ar fynyddoedd Ararat.
4The ship rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.
5 Ciliodd y dyfroedd yn raddol hyd y degfed mis; ac yn y degfed mis, ar y dydd cyntaf o'r mis, daeth pennau'r mynyddoedd i'r golwg.
5The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
6 Ymhen deugain diwrnod agorodd Noa y ffenestr yr oedd wedi ei gwneud yn yr arch,
6It happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ship which he had made,
7 ac anfon allan gigfran i weld a oedd y dyfroedd wedi treio, ac aeth hithau yma ac acw nes i'r dyfroedd sychu oddi ar y ddaear.
7and he sent out a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from the earth.
8 Yna gollyngodd golomen i weld a oedd y dyfroedd wedi treio oddi ar wyneb y tir;
8He sent out a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from the surface of the ground,
9 ond ni chafodd y golomen le i roi ei throed i lawr, a dychwelodd ato i'r arch am fod du373?r dros wyneb yr holl ddaear. Estynnodd yntau ei law i'w derbyn, a'i chymryd ato i'r arch.
9but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into the ship; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put out his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ship.
10 Arhosodd eto saith diwrnod, ac anfonodd y golomen eilwaith o'r arch.
10He stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent the dove out of the ship.
11 Pan ddychwelodd y golomen ato gyda'r hwyr, yr oedd yn ei phig ddeilen olewydd newydd ei thynnu; a deallodd Noa fod y dyfroedd wedi treio oddi ar y ddaear.
11The dove came back to him at evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth.
12 Arhosodd eto saith diwrnod; anfonodd allan y golomen, ond ni ddaeth yn l ato y tro hwn.
12He stayed yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; and she didn’t return to him any more.
13 Yn y flwyddyn chwe chant ac un o oed Noa, yn y mis cyntaf, ar y dydd cyntaf o'r mis, sychodd y dyfroedd oddi ar y ddaear; a symudodd Noa gaead yr arch, a phan edrychodd allan, gwelodd wyneb y tir yn sychu.
13It happened in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ship, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dried.
14 Erbyn yr ail fis, ar y seithfed dydd ar hugain o'r mis, yr oedd y ddaear wedi sychu.
14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
15 Yna llefarodd Duw wrth Noa, a dweud,
15God spoke to Noah, saying,
16 "Dos allan o'r arch, ti a'th wraig a'th feibion a gwragedd dy feibion gyda thi;
16“Go out of the ship, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons’ wives with you.
17 a dwg allan gyda thi bob creadur byw o bob cnawd, yn adar ac anifeiliaid a phopeth sy'n ymlusgo ar y ddaear, er mwyn iddynt epilio ar y ddaear, a ffrwytho ac amlhau ynddi."
17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, livestock, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.”
18 Felly aeth Noa allan gyda'i feibion a'i wraig a gwragedd ei feibion;
18Noah went out, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.
19 hefyd aeth allan o'r arch bob bwystfil, pob ymlusgiad, pob aderyn a phob peth sy'n ymlusgo ar y ddaear, yn l eu rhywogaeth.
19Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went out of the ship.
20 Yna adeiladodd Noa allor i'r ARGLWYDD, a chymryd rhai o bob math o'r anifeiliaid gln ac o'r adar gln, ac offrymu poethoffrymau ar yr allor.
20Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 A phan glywodd yr ARGLWYDD yr arogl hyfryd, dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD ynddo'i hun, "Ni felltithiaf y ddaear mwyach o achos dyn, er bod gogwydd ei feddwl yn ddrwg o'i ieuenctid; ni ddifethaf eto bopeth byw fel y gwneuthum.
21Yahweh smelled the pleasant aroma. Yahweh said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.
22 Tra pery'r ddaear, ni pheidia pryd hau a medi, oerni a gwres, haf a gaeaf, dydd a nos."
22While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
