1 Cododd ei lygaid a gweld pobl gyfoethog yn rhoi eu rhoddion i mewn yng nghist y drysorfa.
1He looked up, and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Yna gwelodd wraig weddw dlawd yn rhoi dau ddarn bychan o bres ynddi,
2He saw a certain poor widow casting in two small brass coins. literally, “two lepta.” 2 lepta was about 1% of a day’s wages for an agricultural laborer.
3 ac meddai, "Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych fod y weddw dlawd hon wedi rhoi mwy na phawb.
3He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,
4 Oherwydd cyfrannodd y rhain i gyd o'r mwy na digon sydd ganddynt, ond rhoddodd hon o'i phrinder y cwbl oedd ganddi i fyw arno."
4 for all these put in gifts for God from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.”
5 Wrth i rywrai sn am y deml, ei bod wedi ei haddurno meini gwych a rhoddion cysegredig, meddai ef,
5As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,
6 "Am y pethau hyn yr ydych yn syllu arnynt, fe ddaw dyddiau pryd ni adewir maen ar faen; ni bydd yr un heb ei fwrw i lawr."
6 “As for these things which you see, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down.”
7 Gofynasant iddo, "Athro, pa bryd y bydd hyn? Beth fydd yr arwydd pan fydd hyn ar ddigwydd?"
7They asked him, “Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?”
8 Meddai yntau, "Gwyliwch na chewch eich twyllo. Oherwydd fe ddaw llawer yn fy enw i gan ddweud, 'Myfi yw', ac, 'Y mae'r amser wedi dod yn agos'. Peidiwch mynd i'w canlyn.
8He said, “Watch out that you don’t get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he or, I AM ,’ and, ‘The time is at hand.’ Therefore don’t follow them.
9 A phan glywch am ryfeloedd a gwrthryfeloedd, peidiwch chymryd eich dychrynu. Rhaid i hyn ddigwydd yn gyntaf, ond nid yw'r diwedd i fod ar unwaith."
9 When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”
10 Y pryd hwnnw dywedodd wrthynt, "Cyfyd cenedl yn erbyn cenedl, a theyrnas yn erbyn teyrnas.
10Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 Bydd daeargrynfu dirfawr, a newyn a phlu mewn mannau. Bydd argoelion arswydus ac arwyddion enfawr o'r nef.
11 There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12 Ond cyn hyn oll byddant yn gosod dwylo arnoch ac yn eich erlid. Fe'ch traddodir i'r synagogau ac i garchar, fe'ch dygir gerbron brenhinoedd a llywodraethwyr o achos fy enw i;
12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.
13 hyn fydd eich cyfle i dystiolaethu.
13 It will turn out as a testimony for you.
14 Penderfynwch beidio  phryderu ymlaen llaw ynglu375?n 'ch amddiffyniad;
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
15 fe roddaf fi i chwi huodledd, a doeth-ineb na all eich holl wrthwynebwyr ei wrthsefyll na'i wrth-ddweud.
15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
16 Fe'ch bradychir gan eich rhieni a'ch ceraint a'ch perthnasau a'ch cyfeillion, a pharant ladd rhai ohonoch.
16 You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.
17 A chas fyddwch gan bawb o achos fy enw i.
17 You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake.
18 Ond ni chollir yr un blewyn o wallt eich pen.
18 And not a hair of your head will perish.
19 Trwy eich dyfalbarhad meddiannwch fywyd i chwi eich hunain.
19 “By your endurance you will win your lives.
20 "Ond pan welwch Jerwsalem wedi ei hamgylchynu gan fyddinoedd, yna byddwch yn gwybod fod awr ei diffeithio wedi dod yn agos.
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.
21 Y pryd hwnnw, ffoed y rhai sydd yn Jwdea i'r mynyddoedd. Pob un sydd yng nghanol y ddinas, aed allan ohoni; a phob un sydd yn y wlad, peidied mynd i mewn iddi.
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.
22 Oherwydd dyddiau dial fydd y rhain, pan fydd pob peth sy'n ysgrifenedig yn cael ei gyflawni.
22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Gwae'r gwragedd beichiog a'r rhai sy'n rhoi'r fron yn y dyddiau hynny! Daw cyfyngder dirfawr ar y wlad, a digofaint ar y bobl hon.
23 Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
24 Byddant yn cwympo dan fin y cleddyf, ac fe'u dygir yn garcharorion i'r holl genhedloedd. Caiff Jerwsalem ei mathru dan draed y Cenhedloedd nes cyflawni eu hamserau hwy.
24 They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 "Bydd arwyddion yn yr haul a'r lloer a'r sr. Ar y ddaear bydd cenhedloedd mewn cyfyngder yn eu pryder rhag trymru ac ymchwydd y mr.
25 There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;
26 Bydd pobl yn llewygu gan ofn wrth ddisgwyl y pethau sy'n dod ar y byd; oherwydd ysgydwir nerthoedd y nefoedd.
26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 A'r pryd hwnnw gwelant Fab y Dyn yn dyfod mewn cwmwl gyda nerth a gogoniant mawr.
27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Pan ddechreua'r pethau hyn ddigwydd, ymunionwch a chodwch eich pennau, oherwydd y mae eich rhyddhad yn agosu."
28 But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”
29 Adroddodd ddameg wrthynt: "Edrychwch ar y ffigysbren a'r holl goed.
29He told them a parable. “See the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 Pan fyddant yn dechrau deilio, fe wyddoch eich hunain o'u gweld fod yr haf bellach yn agos.
30 When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.
31 Felly chwithau, pan welwch y pethau hyn yn digwydd, byddwch yn gwybod fod teyrnas Dduw yn agos.
31 Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
32 Yn wir, rwy'n dweud wrthych, nid 'r genhedlaeth hon heibio nes i'r cwbl ddigwydd.
32 Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.
33 Y nef a'r ddaear, nt heibio, ond fy ngeiriau i, nid nt heibio ddim.
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
34 "Cymerwch ofal, rhag i'ch meddyliau gael eu pylu gan ddiota a meddwi a gofalon bydol, ac i'r dydd hwnnw ddod arnoch yn ddisymwth
34 “So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
35 fel magl; oherwydd fe ddaw ar bawb sy'n trigo ar wyneb y ddaear gyfan.
35 For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.
36 Byddwch effro bob amser, gan ddeisyf am nerth i ddianc rhag yr holl bethau hyn sydd ar ddigwydd, ac i sefyll yng ngu373?ydd Mab y Dyn."
36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 Yn ystod y dydd byddai'n dysgu yn y deml, ond byddai'n mynd allan ac yn treulio'r nos ar y mynydd a elwir Olewydd.
37Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.
38 Yn y bore bach deuai'r holl bobl ato yn y deml i wrando arno.
38All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
