1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Gorchymyn i bobl Israel anfon allan o'r gwersyll bob gwahanglwyfus, pob un ac arno waedlif, a phob un a halogwyd trwy gyffwrdd chorff marw.
2“Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, and everyone who has an issue, and whoever is unclean by the dead.
3 Anfonwch bob un allan, boed u373?r neu wraig, rhag iddo halogi'r gwersyll yr wyf yn preswylio yn ei ganol."
3Both you shall put male and female outside of the camp; that they not defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell.”
4 Gwnaeth pobl Israel hyn, a'u hanfon allan o'r gwersyll, fel yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud wrth Moses.
4The children of Israel did so, and put them out outside of the camp; as Yahweh spoke to Moses, so did the children of Israel.
5 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
6 "Dywed wrth bobl Israel, 'Os bydd gu373?r neu wraig yn cyflawni unrhyw drosedd yn erbyn rhywun arall, ac yn anffyddlon i'r ARGLWYDD, yna y mae'n euog,
6“Speak to the children of Israel: ‘When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit, so as to trespass against Yahweh, and that soul is guilty;
7 a dylai gyffesu'r trosedd a gyflawnodd; rhaid iddo wneud iawn amdano trwy dalu'n l y cyfan, ac ychwanegu ato'r bumed ran, a'u rhoi i'r sawl y troseddodd yn ei erbyn.
7then he shall confess his sin which he has done, and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add to it the fifth part of it, and give it to him in respect of whom he has been guilty.
8 Os nad oes gan hwnnw berthynas y gellir talu'n l iddo am y trosedd, taler ef i'r ARGLWYDD, trwy'r offeiriad, gyda'r hwrdd a ddefnyddir i wneud cymod dros y troseddwr.
8But if the man has no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made to Yahweh shall be the priest’s; besides the ram of the atonement, by which atonement shall be made for him.
9 Bydd pob offrwm, a'r holl bethau cysegredig y bydd pobl Israel yn eu cyflwyno i'r offeiriad, yn eiddo iddo;
9Every heave offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present to the priest, shall be his.
10 bydd y pethau cysegredig i gyd, a phopeth arall y bydd rhywun yn ei gyflwyno i'r offeiriad, yn eiddo iddo.'"
10Every man’s holy things shall be his: whatever any man gives the priest, it shall be his.’”
11 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses,
11Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
12 "Dywed wrth bobl Israel, 'Os bydd gan ddyn wraig yn cyfeiliorni ac yn anffyddlon iddo
12“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them: ‘If any man’s wife goes astray, and is unfaithful to him,
13 trwy orwedd gyda dyn arall, a'i gu373?r heb fod yn gwybod, a'i halogrwydd yn guddiedig am nad oedd tyst ac na chafodd ei dal,
13and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and is kept close, and she is defiled, and there is no witness against her, and she isn’t taken in the act;
14 yna, os daw ysbryd o eiddigedd dros ei gu373?r oherwydd ei wraig, boed hi wedi ei halogi ei hun neu beidio,
14and the spirit of jealousy comes on him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she is defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy comes on him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she isn’t defiled:
15 deued 'i wraig at yr offeiriad, a chyflwyno offrwm drosti, sef degfed ran o effa o flawd haidd; nid yw i dywallt olew drosto na rhoi thus ynddo, oherwydd bwydoffrwm dros eiddigedd yw, a bwydoffrwm i goffu camwedd.
15then the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring her offering for her: the tenth part of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of barley meal. He shall pour no oil on it, nor put frankincense on it, for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to memory.
16 "'Yna daw'r offeiriad hi ymlaen a gwneud iddi sefyll gerbron yr ARGLWYDD,
16The priest shall bring her near, and set her before Yahweh;
17 a bydd yn cymryd du373?r cysegredig mewn llestr pridd, a chymysgu ag ef beth o'r llwch oddi ar lawr y tabernacl.
17and the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water.
18 Wedi iddo ddod 'r wraig gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd y gorchudd oddi ar ei phen, ac yn rhoi yn ei dwylo y bwydoffrwm coffa, sef y bwydoffrwm dros eiddigedd. Bydd yntau'n cario'r du373?r chwerw sy'n achosi melltith.
18The priest shall set the woman before Yahweh, and let the hair of the woman’s head go loose, and put the meal offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal offering of jealousy. The priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that brings a curse.
19 Yna fe wna iddi dyngu llw, ac fe ddywed wrthi, "Os nad oes dyn wedi gorwedd gyda thi, ac os nad wyt wedi cyfeiliorni a'th halogi dy hun pan oeddit dan awdurdod dy u373?r, yna ni fydd y du373?r chwerw sy'n achosi melltith yn dy niweidio.
19The priest shall cause her to swear, and shall tell the woman, “If no man has lain with you, and if you haven’t gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband, be free from this water of bitterness that brings a curse.
20 Ond os wyt wedi cyfeiliorni a'th halogi dy hun, a gadael i ddyn arall orwedd gyda thi tra oeddit dan awdurdod dy u373?r,"
20But if you have gone astray, being under your husband, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you besides your husband:”
21 (yna, wedi i'r offeiriad beri i'r wraig dyngu llw'r felltith, fe ddywed wrthi) "boed i'r ARGLWYDD dy wneud yn felltith ac yn llw ymhlith dy bobl trwy bydru dy glun a chwyddo dy groth;
21then the priest shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall tell the woman, “Yahweh make you a curse and an oath among your people, when Yahweh allows your thigh to fall away, and your body to swell;
22 bydd y du373?r hwn sy'n achosi melltith yn mynd i mewn i'th ymysgaroedd, ac yn peri i'th groth chwyddo ac i'th glun bydru." Yna bydd y wraig yn dweud, "Amen, Amen."
22and this water that brings a curse will go into your bowels, and make your body swell, and your thigh fall away.” The woman shall say, “Amen, Amen.”
23 "'Yna bydd yr offeiriad yn ysgrifennu'r melltithion hyn mewn llyfr ac yn eu golchi ymaith i'r du373?r chwerw;
23“‘The priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness.
24 bydd yn peri i'r wraig yfed y du373?r chwerw sy'n achosi melltith, a bydd y du373?r, o'i yfed, yn peri artaith chwerw iddi.
24He shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter.
25 Yna bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd y bwydoffrwm dros eiddigedd o ddwylo'r wraig, ac yn ei chwifio gerbron yr ARGLWYDD cyn dod ag ef at yr allor.
25The priest shall take the meal offering of jealousy out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the meal offering before Yahweh, and bring it to the altar.
26 Bydd yr offeiriad yn cymryd dyrnaid o'r bwydoffrwm fel offrwm coffa, ac yn ei losgi ar yr allor; yna fe wna i'r wraig yfed y du373?r.
26The priest shall take a handful of the meal offering, as its memorial, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water.
27 Os bu i'r wraig ei halogi ei hun a bod yn anffyddlon i'w gu373?r, bydd y du373?r, wedi iddi ei yfed, yn achosi melltith ac yn peri artaith chwerw iddi. Bydd ei chroth yn chwyddo a'i chlun yn pydru, a bydd y wraig yn felltith ymhlith ei phobl.
27When he has made her drink the water, then it shall happen, if she is defiled, and has committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse will enter into her and become bitter, and her body will swell, and her thigh will fall away: and the woman will be a curse among her people.
28 Ond os na fu i'r wraig ei halogi ei hun, ac os yw'n ln, yna bydd yn rhydd i esgor ar blant.
28If the woman isn’t defiled, but is clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
29 "'Dyma'r ddeddf mewn achosion o eiddigedd pan fo gwraig, a hithau dan awdurdod ei gu373?r, yn cyfeiliorni ac yn ei halogi ei hun,
29“‘This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes astray, and is defiled;
30 a phan fo ysbryd o eiddigedd yn dod dros y gu373?r o achos ei wraig: y mae i wneud iddi sefyll gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, a bydd yr offeiriad yn ei thrin yn unol 'r holl ddeddf hon.
30or when the spirit of jealousy comes on a man, and he is jealous of his wife; then he shall set the woman before Yahweh, and the priest shall execute on her all this law.
31 Bydd y gu373?r yn ddieuog o gamwedd, ond bydd y wraig yn dwyn ei chamwedd arni hi ei hun.'"
31The man shall be free from iniquity, and that woman shall bear her iniquity.’”
