1اینها فرزندان یعقوب هستند: رؤبین، شمعون، لاوی، یهودا، ایسَسکار، زبولون، دان، یوسف، بنیامین، نفتالی، جاد و اَشیر.
1These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2عیر، اونان و شیله پسران یهودا بودند که زنش، بتشوع کنعانی بدنیا آورد. عیر، پسر اول یهودا که چون یک شخص شریر بود خداوند او را کشت.
2Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3بیوۀ عیر و یهودا صاحب دو پسر بنامهای فارَص و زِرَح شدند، بنابران، یهودا دارای پنج پسر بود.
3The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.
4حِزرون و حامول پسران فارَص بودند.
4And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5زِرَح دارای پنج پسر بنامهای زِمری، ایتان، هیمان، کَلکول و دارَع بود.
5The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
6عاکار، پسر کَرمی، اشیائی را که وقف خداوند شده بودند برای خود نگهداشت و در نتیجه مصیبت بزرگی بر سر مردم اسرائیل آمد؛
6And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7و عَزریا پسر ایتان بود.
7And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8یِرَحمئیل، رام و کَلوبای پسران حِزرون بودند.
8And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
9رام پدر عمیناداب و عمیناداب پدر نحشون، رئیس قبیلۀ یهودا بود.
9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10نحشون پدر سَلما و سَلما پدر بوعَز بود.
10And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11بوعَز پدر عوبید و عوبید پدر یِسی بود.
11And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12اولین پسر یِسی اِلیاب، دومی اَبِیناداب، سومی شِمعی،
12And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
13چهارمی نتنئیل، پنجمی رَدای،
13And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14ششمی اُوصَم و هفتمی داود بود.
14Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15خواهران شان زِرویه و اَبِیجایَل بودند. زِرویه سه پسر بنامهای ابیشای، یوآب و عَسائیل داشت.
15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:
16اَبِیجایَل عماسا را بدنیا آورد و پدر عماسا، یترِ اسماعیلی بود.
16Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17کالیب، پسر حِزرون از دو زن خود، عَزوبه و یَریعوت دارای سه پسر بنامهای یِشَر، شوباب و اَردُون شد.
17And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
18وقتی عَزوبه مُرد، کالیب با اَفرات عروسی کرد و اَفرات حور را بدنیا آورد.
18And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19حور پدر اوری و اوری پدر بزل ئیل بود.
19And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20بعد حِزرون در سن شصت سالگی با دختر ماخیر عروسی کرد و از او صاحب یک پسری بنام سَجوب شد (ماخیر پدر جِلعاد بود).
20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21سَجوب پدر یایر بود. یایر بیست و سه شهر را در سرزمین جِلعاد اداره می کرد،
21And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22اما جشور و ارام شهر حَووب ـ یایر را با شهر قنات و شصت دهات اطراف آن تصرف کردند. ساکنان این شهرها و دهات همه اولادۀ ماخیر، پدر جِلعاد بودند.
22And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23بعد از وفات حِزرون در کالیبِ افراته، اَبِیَه زن حِزرون، اَشحُور، پدر تَقوع را بدنیا آورد.
23And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24اشخاص ذیل فرزندان یِرَحمئیل، پسر اول حِزرون بودند: رام (پسر اول)، بونَه، اُورَن، اُوصَم و اَخیا.
24And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25یِرَحمئیل یک زن دیگر هم بنام عطاره داشت و او مادر اُونام بود.
25And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26مَعس، یامین و عاقَر پسران رام،
26Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27شَمای و یاداع پسران اُونام و ناداب و اَبیشور پسران شَمای بودند.
27And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28نام زن اَبیشور اَبِیحایَل بود و او اَحبان و مُولید را بدنیا آورد.
28And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab and Abishur.
29سَلَد و اَفایم پسران ناداب بودند. سَلَد بی اولاد از دنیا رفت.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30یشعی پسر اَفایم، شیشان پسر یشعی و اَحلای پسر شیشان بود.
30And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31یاداع، برادر شَمای دو پسر داشت بنامهای یتر و یُوناتان. یتر بی اولاد مُرد.
31And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
32فالت و زازا پسران یُوناتان بودند. اشخاص نامبرده اولادۀ یِرَحمئیل بودند.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33شیشان پسری نداشت، اما دارای چند دختر بود. او یک غلام مصری داشت که نام او یرحاع بود.
33And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34شیشان دختر خود را به یرحاع داد و یرحاع دارای پسری شد بنام عَتای.
34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35عَتای پدر ناتان، ناتان پدر زاباد،
35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
36زاباد پدر اَفلال، اَفلال پدر عوبید،
36And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37عوبید پدر ییهُو، ییهُو پدر عَزَریا،
37And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38عَزَریا پدر حالَز، حالَز پدر اَلعاسه،
38And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
39اَلعاسه پدر سِسمای، سِسمای پدر شلوم،
39And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40شلوم پدر یَقمیا و یَقمیا پدر الیشع بود.
40And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,
41پسران کالیب، برادر یِرَحمئیل: پسر اول او میشاع پدر زیف بود و ماریشه پدر حِبرون بود.
41And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42قورَح، تفوح، راقَم و شِمَع پسران حِبرون بودند.
42Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43شِمَع پدر راحَم، راحَم پدر یُرقَعام و راقَم پدر شَمای بود.
43And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44ماعون پسر شَمای و بیت صور پسر ماعون بود.
44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45عیفه، کنیز کالیب، حاران، موزا و جازِر را بدنیا آورد.
45And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Bethzur.
46راجَم، یوتام، جیشان، فالت، عیفه و شعَف پسران یهدای بودند.
46And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47معکه، کنیز دیگر کالیب، شابَر و تِرحَنَه را بدنیا آورد.
47And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48او همچنین مادر شعَف، پدر مَدمَنه، شوا، پدر مَکبینا و پدر جِبعا بود و کالیب یک دختر هم بنام عَکسه داشت.
48Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49اشخاص نامبرده اولادۀ کالیب بودند. فرزندان حور، پسر اول افراته اینها بودند: شوبال، پدر قریت یعاریم،
49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.
50سَلما پدر بیت لحم و حاریف پدر بیت جادَر.
50These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim.
51اولادۀ دیگر شوبال، پدر قریت یعاریم، هَرُواه و نصف منوحوت بودند.
51Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Bethgader.
52قبایل قریت یعاریم اینها بودند. یتریان، فُوتیان، شوماتیان، مِشُراعیان (از اینها خانواده های صارعاتیان و اِشطاوُلیان بوجود آمدند.)
52And Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.
53اولادۀ سَلما: بیت لحم، نِطوفاتی ها، عتروت بیت یوآب، نصف مانَحتیان و زُرعیان.قبایلی که در کتابت و نویسندگی مهارت داشتند و در یَعبِیز زندگی می کردند تِرعاتیان، شِمعاتیان و سوکاتیان بودند. اینها مردمان قینانی و به اولادۀ حَمَت، مؤسس خانوادۀ ریکاب رابطه داشتند.
53And the families of Kirjathjearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites,
54قبایلی که در کتابت و نویسندگی مهارت داشتند و در یَعبِیز زندگی می کردند تِرعاتیان، شِمعاتیان و سوکاتیان بودند. اینها مردمان قینانی و به اولادۀ حَمَت، مؤسس خانوادۀ ریکاب رابطه داشتند.
54The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
