¹وقتی به سرزمینی که خداوند، خدای پدران تان به شما داده است وارد می شوید، باید این احکام و قوانین را تا که زنده هستید بجا آورید.

¹These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

²تمام جاهای عبادت مردمی را که سرزمین شان را اشغال می کنید از بین ببرید، چه در بالای کوهها و تپه ها باشند و چه در زیر درختان.

²Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

³قربانگاه های شان را ویران کنید، ستونهای شان را بشکنید و مجسمه های شان را که پیش آن ها مقدس هستند در آتش بسوزانید و بتهای آن ها را تکه تکه کنید و به این ترتیب خاطره و نام شان را از همه جا محو نمائید.

³And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

⁴شما خداوند، خدای تان را به طوری که آن ها خدایان خود را می پرستند، پرستش نکنید،

⁴Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

⁵بلکه جائی را که خداوند، خدای تان خودش در بین قبایل اسرائیل انتخاب می کند، عبادتگاه خود بسازید. شما به آنجا می روید،

⁵But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

⁶قربانی سوختنی و دیگر قربانی های خود را با ده فیصد دارائی تان، هدایای مخصوص، هدایای نذری، هدایای دلخواه و اولباری های گله و رمۀ تان به آنجا بیاورید.

⁶And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

⁷در آنجا شما با خانواده های خود در حضور خداوند، خدای تان می خورید و از دسترنج و نعمت هائی که خداوند به شما می دهد، لذت می برید.

⁷And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

⁸وقتی به آن سرزمینی که خداوند، خدای تان به شما می دهد، می روید و آرام و آسوده می شوید رفتار تان نباید مثل امروز باشد و هرچه که دل تان بخواهد بکنید.

⁸Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

⁹زمانی که از دریای اردن عبور می کنید و به سرزمینی که خداوند، خدای تان به شما بخشیده است داخل می شوید و خداوند به شما آرامش بدهد و از دست دشمنان اطراف حفظ کند،

⁹For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

¹⁰خداوند، خدای تان در آن سرزمین جائی را تعیین می کند تا او را در آنجا بپرستید. پس شما باید همه قربانی های سوختنی و هدایای مخصوص و هدایای نذری خود را با ده فیصد دارائی تان که به شما امر کردم به آنجا بیاورید.

¹⁰But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

¹¹در آنجا با پسران، دختران، غلام و کنیز تان در حضور خداوند، خدای تان در خوشی و سرور بسر می برید. لاویانی که در آنجا زندگی می کنند هم در خوشی تان شریک می باشند، زیرا آن ها در زمین آنجا سهمی ندارند.

¹¹Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

¹²قربانی های سوختنی خود را در هر جا که دل تان بخواهد تقدیم نکنید،

¹²And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

¹³بلکه فقط در محلی که خداوند در یکی از قبیله های تان تعیین می کند، قربانی های سوختنی و سایر هدایای خود را بیاورید.

¹³Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

¹⁴اما حیواناتی را که گوشت شان را می خورید آزاد هستید که در هر جائی و در هر وقتی که دل تان بخواهد و هر قدر که خداوند به شما بدهد، بخورید. همانطوریکه گوشت غزال یا آهو را می خورید. کسانی که شرعاً نجس باشند هم می توانند آن را بخورند.

¹⁴But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

¹⁵اما شما نباید خون آن را بخورید، بلکه مثل آب بر زمین بریزید.

¹⁵Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

¹⁶همچنین شما نباید هیچکدام از هدایا را در خانه بخورید: ده فیصد غله، شراب، روغن، اولباری های گله و رمه، چیزهائی را که برای خداوند نذر کرده اید، هدایای دلخواه و هدایای مخصوص.

¹⁶Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

¹⁷اینها را باید در جائی که خداوند، خدای تان تعیین کرده است بیاورید و با فرزندان، کنیز، غلام و لاویانی که در شهر شما زندگی می کنند یکجا بخورید و در هر کاری که مشغول هستید در حضور خداوند، خدای تان خوشی کنید.

¹⁷Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:

¹⁸مواظب باشید که هیچگاهی لاویان را از یاد نبرید.

¹⁸But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

¹⁹وقتیکه خداوند، خدای تان، قراریکه وعده فرموده است سرحدات تان را توسعه بخشد، شما می توانید در هر جائی که میل داشته باشید گوشت بخورید.

¹⁹Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

²⁰اگر عبادتگاه از شما دور باشد، آنوقت آزاد هستید که گله یا رمۀ تان را که خداوند به شما داده است، قراریکه قبلاً به شما گفتم، در هر جائی که دل تان بخواهد ذبح کنید و گوشت آن را بخورید.

²⁰When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

²¹کسانی که شرعاً نجس باشند نیز می توانند آن را بخورند، همانطوریکه گوشت غزال یا آهو را می خورند.

²¹If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

²²اما احتیاط کنید که گوشت را با خونش که به آن حیات می بخشد، نخورید،

²²Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

²³بلکه خون را مثل آب بر زمین بریزید،

²³Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

²⁴اگر چنین کنید، با فرزندان خود در زندگی نیکویی می بینید، زیرا این کار شما خداوند را خوشنود می سازد.

²⁴Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

²⁵ولی آنچه را که وقف خداوند می کنید ـ خواه هدایای نذری باشند خواه قربانی های سوختنی ـ باید همه را به جائی که خداوند تعیین می کند، بیاورید.

²⁵Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

²⁶قربانی های سوختنی را بر قربانگاه خداوند، خدای تان تقدیم کنید. خون آن را بر قربانگاه بریزید و گوشت آن را بخورید.

²⁶Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:

²⁷بر شما لازم است که آنچه را امروز به شما امر می کنم بجا آورید تا با فرزندان تان همیشه نیکویی ببینید، زیرا انجام این اوامر در نظر خداوند، خدای تان شایسته و نیکو است.

²⁷And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

²⁸وقتیکه خداوند، خدای تان اقوامی را که سرزمین شان را تصرف می کنید، از سر راه تان بیرون راند و شما در آنجا به زندگی کردن شروع کنید،

²⁸Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.

²⁹احتیاط کنید که در پرستش بتهای شان شرکت ننمائید و نپرسید که این مردم خدایان خود را چگونه می پرستند و بعد بروید شما هم خدایان شان را پرستش کنید.

²⁹When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;

³⁰شما نباید به خداوند، خدای خود این چنین اهانت نمائید، زیرا خداوند از کارهای این اقوام نفرت دارد. آن ها حتی فرزندان خود را بر سر قربانگاه های شان قربانی می کنند.تمام اوامری را که به شما داده ام بجا آورید. نه به آن ها چیزی بیفزائید و نه چیزی را از آن ها کم کنید.

³⁰Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

³¹تمام اوامری را که به شما داده ام بجا آورید. نه به آن ها چیزی بیفزائید و نه چیزی را از آن ها کم کنید.

³¹Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

³²What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
