1خداوند به موسی فرمود:
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2«به بنی اسرائیل بگو: هدایائی به حضور من بیاورند، و هر کسی که از روی میل و رغبت برای من هدیه بیاورد، آنرا قبول کن.
2Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
3هدایا باید از این قبیل باشند: طلا، نقره، برنج،
3And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
4پارچه های کتان اعلی، نخ های تابیده به رنگ لاجوردی، سرخ و ارغوانی، پشم بز،
4And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
5پوست قوچ که آش داده شده باشد، چرمهای اعلی و لطیف، چوب درخت اکاسی،
5And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
6تیل برای چراغها، روغن برای مسح سر، خوشبوئی،
6Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
7سنگهای عقیق و قیمتی دیگر برای تزئین ایفود و زرۀ کاهنان.
7Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
8به آن ها بگو که برای من خیمۀ مقدسی بسازند تا در بین آن ها ساکن باشم.
8And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
9این جایگاه مقدس و لوازم آن باید مطابق نقشه ای باشد که به تو نشان می دهم.»
9According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
10«صندوقی از چوب اکاسی به طول یک متر و بیست و پنج سانتی متر و عرض هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر و بلندی هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر بساز
10And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
11و آنرا از داخل و خارج با طلای ناب ورق شانی کن به دورا دور لبۀ آن فیته ای از طلا باشد.
11And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
12چهار حلقۀ طلائی برای آن بساز و آن ها را به چهار پایۀ آن نصب کن.
12And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
13دو میلۀ چوبی جهت حمل صندوق از چوب درخت اکاسی تهیه کن و آن ها را با ورق طلا بپوشان
13And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
14و در داخل حلقه های دو طرف صندوق قرار بده.
14And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
15چوبها نباید از این حلقه ها خارج شود.
15The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
16وقتی ساختن صندوق تمام شد، لوح های سنگی را که روی آن ها احکام من نوشته شده است به تو می دهم تا در داخل صندوق بگذاری.
16And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
17سرپوشی از طلای خالص به طول یک متر و بیست و پنج سانتی متر و عرض هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر برای آن بساز. این سرپوش «تخت رحمت» نامیده می شود.
17And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
18دو مجسمۀ کروبین (فرشتگان مقرب) از طلا را در دو سر تخت رحمت طوری نصب کن
18And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
19که یک فرشته در یک سر تخت رحمت و فرشتۀ دیگری در سر دیگر آن قرار گیرد. فرشته ها و سرپوش باید از یک قطعه طلا ساخته شوند.
19And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.
20فرشتگان روبروی یکدیگر قرار گیرند و بالهای شان بر روی تخت رحمت گسترده و نگاه شان به طرف پائین باشد.
20And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.
21دو لوح سنگی را که به تو می دهم در داخل صندوق بگذار و سرپوش را روی آن قرار بده.
21And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
22من در روی تخت رحمت، در بین دو فرشته ای که بر روی صندوق پیمان قرار دارند، با تو ملاقات می کنم و هدایات لازم را برای بنی اسرائیل می دهم.»
22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
23«میزی از چوب اکاسی به طول یک متر و عرض نیم متر و ارتفاع هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر بساز.
23Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24آنرا با روکشی از طلای خالص بپوشان و قابی از طلا به دور لبۀ بساز.
24And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
25حاشیه ای به عرض چهار انگشت به دور لبۀ آن درست کن. دور لبۀ حاشیه را با قاب طلا بپوشان.
25And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
26چهار حلقه از طلا بساز و آن ها را به چهار پایه میز وصل کن.
26And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
27حلقه ها باید نزدیک حاشیه باشد بطوری که بتوان میله های چوبی را برای حمل میز در داخل آن قرار داد.
27Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
28این میله ها باید از چوب اکاسی و دارای روکش طلائی باشد.
28And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
29همچنین بشقابها، کاسه ها، جامها و پیاله هائی از طلای خالص تهیه کن تا از آن ها برای هدایای نوشیدنی استفاده شود.
29And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
30نان مقدس، باید همیشه بر میز در حضور من باشد.»
30And thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me always.
31«یک چراغدان از طلای خالص که چکش کاری شده باشد، بساز. پایه و میلۀ آن از یک پارچه طلای خالص ساخته شود.
31And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
32چراغدان در دو طرف خود شش شاخه داشته باشد، سه شاخه در یک طرف و سه شاخه در طرف دیگر.
32And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
33در انتهای هر یک از شاخه ها سه پیاله به شکل شگوفۀ بادام قرار داده شود.
33Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
34میلۀ چراغدان دارای چهار گل تزئینی به شکل شگوفه بادام با گلبرگ و پُندک آن باشد.
34And in the candlesticks shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
35در زیر هر جفت از شاخه های چراغدان، یک پیاله به شکل پندک باشد.
35And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
36پندکها و میلۀ چراغدان از یک پارچۀ طلای خالص چکش کاری شده ساخته شوند.
36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
37بعد هفت چراغ بساز و آن ها را بر چراغدان نصب کن تا به پیشرو بتابد.
37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
38گُلگیرها و کاسه ها همه از طلای خالص باشند.
38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
39چراغدان و تمام لوازم مربوطۀ آن از طلای خالص به وزن سی و پنج کیلوگرام ساخته شود.بدان که همه را مطابق نمونه ای که در بالای کوه به تو نشان داده شد، بسازی.»
39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
40بدان که همه را مطابق نمونه ای که در بالای کوه به تو نشان داده شد، بسازی.»
40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount.
