¹خداوند را محبت می نمایم، زیرا که آواز من و تضرع مرا می شنود.

¹I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

²او گوش خود را متوجۀ من ساخته است، پس تا که زنده هستم به دربار او دعا می کنم.

²Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

³ریسمانهای موت مرا احاطه کرد، ترسهای مرگ مرا به وحشت انداخت و در تنگی و غم افتادم.

³The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

⁴آنگاه نام خداوند را خواندم و گفتم: «آه ای خداوند، جان مرا رهایی ده!»

⁴Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

⁵خداوند رحیم و عادل است و خدای ما رحیم است.

⁵Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

⁶خداوند از اشخاص ناتوان محافظت می کند. خوار و ذلیل بودم، او مرا نجات داد.

⁶The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

⁷ای جان من به آرامی خود برگرد، زیرا خداوند به تو احسان نموده است.

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁸تو ای خداوند، جان مرا از موت خلاصی دادی و چشمانم را از اشک و پاهایم را از لغزیدن.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁹پس در زمین زندگان به حضور خداوند بسر می برم.

⁹I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

¹⁰چون ایمان داشتم سخن گفتم، باوجودی که بسیار بینوا بودم.

¹⁰I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

¹¹در پریشانی خود گفتم که «جمیع آدمیان دروغگویند.»

¹¹I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹²خداوند را برای همه خوبی های که به من نموده است، چه ادا کنم؟

¹²What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

¹³به خاطر نجات خود، هدیۀ نوشیدنی را به حضور خداوند تقدیم می کنم و نام او را سپاس می گویم.

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁴در حضور قوم برگزیدۀ او به وعده های که به خداوند داده ام، وفا می کنم.

¹⁴I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵موت مقدسان خداوند در نظر وی گرانبهاست.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

¹⁶آه ای خداوند، من بندۀ تو هستم! من بندۀ تو و پسر کنیز تو هستم. تو از بند آزادم کردی.

¹⁶O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷به حضور تو قربانی شکرگزاری را تقدیم نموده و نام تو را می ستایم.

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁸در حضور قوم برگزیدۀ او به وعده های که به خداوند داده ام، وفا می کنم.آنرا در پیشگاه خانۀ خداوند و در اندرون تو ای اورشلیم ادا می کنم. هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند!

¹⁸I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁹آنرا در پیشگاه خانۀ خداوند و در اندرون تو ای اورشلیم ادا می کنم. هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند!

¹⁹In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
