1The wilderness and the dry land shall be gladdened; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
1 Llawenyched yr anial a'r sychdir, gorfoledded y diffeithwch, a blodeuo.
2It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and shouting: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God.
2 Blodeued fel maes o saffrwn, a gorfoleddu � llawenydd a ch�n. Rhodder gogoniant Lebanon iddo, mawrhydi Carmel a Saron; c�nt weld gogoniant yr ARGLWYDD, a mawrhydi ein Duw ni.
3Strengthen the weak hands and confirm the tottering knees.
3 Cadarnhewch y dwylo llesg, cryfhewch y gliniau gwan;
4Say to them that are of a timid heart, Be strong, fear not; behold your God: vengeance cometh, the recompense of God! He will come himself, and save you.
4 dywedwch wrth y pryderus, "Ymgryfhewch, nac ofnwch. wele, fe ddisgyn ar Edom, ar y bobl a ddedfryda i farn.
5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be unstopped;
5 Yna fe agorir llygaid y deillion a chlustiau'r byddariaid;
6then shall the lame [man] leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and torrents in the desert.
6 fe lama'r cloff fel hydd, fe g�n tafod y mudan; tyr dyfroedd allan yn yr anialwch, ac afonydd yn y diffeithwch;
7And the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of wild dogs, where they lay down, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
7 bydd y crastir yn llyn, a'r tir sych yn ffynhonnau byw; yn y tir garw, lle cyrcha'r siacal, bydd gweirglodd o gorsennau a brwyn.
8And a highway shall be there and a way, and it shall be called, The way of holiness: the unclean shall not pass through it; but it shall be for these. Those that go [this] way -- even fools, -- shall not err [therein].
8 Yno bydd priffordd a ffordd, a gelwir hi yn ffordd sanctaidd; ni bydd yr halogedig yn mynd ar hyd�ddi; bydd yn ffordd i'r pererin, ac nid i'r cyfeiliorn, i grwydro ar hyd-ddi.
9No lion shall be there, nor shall ravenous beast go up thereon, nor be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there].
9 Ni ddaw llew yno, ni ddring bwystfil rheibus iddi � ni cheir y rheini yno. Ond y rhai a ryddhawyd fydd yn rhodio arni,
10And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come to Zion with singing; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
10 a gwaredigion yr ARGLWYDD fydd yn dychwelyd. D�nt i Seion dan ganu, bob un gyda llawenydd tragwyddol; hebryngir hwy gan lawenydd a gorfoledd, a bydd gofid a griddfan yn ffoi ymaith.
