1Bel is bowed down, Nebo bendeth; their idols are upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: the things ye carried are laid on, a burden to the weary [beast].
1 Crymodd Bel, plygodd Nebo; ar gefn anifail ac ych y mae eu delwau, ac aeth y rhain, a fu'n ddyrchafedig, yn faich ar anifeiliaid blinedig.
2They bend, they are bowed down together; they could not deliver the burden, and themselves are gone into captivity.
2 Plygant a chrymant gyda'i gilydd, ni allant arbed y llwyth, ond nt eu hunain i gaethglud.
3Hearken unto me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, ye who have been borne from the belly, who have been carried from the womb:
3 "Gwrandewch arnaf fi, du375? Jacob, a phawb sy'n weddill o du375? Israel; buoch yn faich i mi o'r groth, ac yn llwyth i mi o'r bru;
4Even to old age, I [am] HE, and unto hoary hairs I will carry [you]: It is I that have made, and I will bear, and I will carry, and will deliver.
4 hyd eich henaint, myfi yw Duw, hyd eich penwynni, mi a'ch cariaf. Myfi sy'n gwneud, myfi sy'n cludo, myfi sy'n cario, a myfi sy'n arbed.
5To whom will ye liken me and make me equal, or compare me, that we may be like?
5 I bwy y'm cyffelybwch?  phwy y gwnewch fi'n gyfartal? I bwy y'm cymharwch? Pwy sy'n debyg i mi?
6-- They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance; they hire a goldsmith, and he maketh it a ùgod: they fall down, yea, they worship.
6 Y mae'r rhai sy'n gwastraffu aur o'r pwrs, ac yn arllwys eu harian i glorian, yn llogi eurych ac yn gwneud duw i'w addoli ac ymgrymu iddo.
7They bear him on the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place; there he standeth, he doth not remove from his place: yea, one crieth unto him, and he answereth not; he saveth him not out of his trouble.
7 Codant ef ar eu hysgwydd a'i gario, gosodant ef yn ei le, ac yno y saif heb symud; os llefa neb arno, nid yw'n ei ateb, nac yn ei achub o'i gyfyngder.
8Remember this, and shew yourselves men; call it to mind, ye transgressors.
8 "Cofiwch hyn, ac ystyriwch; galwch i gof, chwi wrthryfelwyr.
9Remember the former things of old; for I [am] ùGod, and there is none else; [I am] God, and there is none like me;
9 Cofiwch y pethau gynt, ymhell yn l; oherwydd myfi sydd Dduw, ac nid arall, yn Dduw heb neb yn debyg i mi.
10declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;
10 'Rwyf o'r dechreuad yn mynegi'r diwedd, ac o'r cychwyn yr hyn oedd heb ei wneud. Dywedaf, 'Fe saif fy nghyngor, a chyflawnaf fy holl fwriad.'
11calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
11 Galwaf ar aderyn ysglyfaethus o'r dwyrain, a gu373?r a wna fy nghyngor o wlad bell. Yn wir, lleferais ac fe'i dygaf i ben, fe'i lluniais ac fe'i gwnaf.
12Hearken unto me, ye stout-hearted, that are far from righteousness:
12 Gwrandewch arnaf fi, chwi bobl ystyfnig, chwi sy'n bell oddi wrth gyfiawnder.
13I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not delay; and I will give salvation in Zion, [and] unto Israel my glory.
13 Paraf i'm cyfiawnder nesu; nid yw'n bell, ac nid oeda fy iachawdwriaeth. Rhof iachawdwriaeth yn Seion, a'm gogoniant i Israel.
