¹{To the chief Musician. A Song: a Psalm.} Shout aloud unto God, all the earth:

¹Laulujuhatajale: laul ja lauluviis. Hõisake Jumalale, kõik ilmamaa!

²Sing forth the glory of his name, make his praise glorious;

²Ülistage mängides tema nime au, andke temale au ja kiitust!

³Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.

³Öelge Jumalale: Kui kardetavad on sinu teod! Su suure väe pärast teesklevad su vaenlased su ees,

⁴All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. Selah.

⁴kõik ilmamaa kummardab sind ja mängib sulle kiitust, ta mängib kiitust su nimele. Sela.

⁵Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in [his] doings toward the children of men.

⁵Tulge ja vaadake Jumala tegusid, kes on kardetav oma tegemistes inimlaste juures.

⁶He turned the sea into dry [land]; they went through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

⁶Tema muudab mere kuivaks maaks; jalgsi minnakse läbi jõe; rõõmutsegem siis temast!

⁷He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes observe the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

⁷Tema valitseb oma vägevuses igavesti, ta silmad on valvel paganarahvaste üle; kangekaelsed ärgu tõstku endid kõrgeks! Sela.

⁸Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;

⁸Tänage, rahvad, meie Jumalat, kostku valjusti tema kiitus!

⁹Who hath set our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

⁹Tema paneb elama meie hinge ega lase meie jalgu kõikuda.

¹⁰For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

¹⁰Sest sina, Jumal, oled meid läbi katsunud, sa oled meid sulatanud, nagu hõbedat sulatatakse.

¹¹Thou broughtest us into a net, thou didst lay a heavy burden upon our loins;

¹¹Sa vedasid meid võrku, sa panid vaotise meie niuetele.

¹²Thou didst cause men to ride over our head; we went through fire and through water: but thou hast brought us out into abundance.

¹²Sa lasksid inimesi sõita meie pea peal, me sattusime tulle ja vette. Kuid sina viisid meid välja küllusesse.

¹³I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,

¹³Ma lähen su kotta põletusohvritega, ma tasun sinule oma tõotused,

¹⁴Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

¹⁴milleks mu huuled avanesid ja mida mu suu ütles mu kitsikuses.

¹⁵I will offer up unto thee burnt-offerings of fatted beasts, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

¹⁵Ma toon sulle lihavaid põletusohvreid koos jäärade ohvrisuitsuga; ma valmistan sulle ohvriks veiseid koos sikkudega. Sela.

¹⁶Come, hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

¹⁶Tulge, kuulge kõik, kes kardate Jumalat, ma jutustan, mis tema on teinud mu hingele!

¹⁷I called unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

¹⁷Tema poole ma hüüdsin oma suuga ja tema ülistus oli mu keelel.

¹⁸Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.

¹⁸Kui oleksin näinud oma südames nurjatust, ei oleks Issand mind kuulnud.

¹⁹But God hath heard; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

¹⁹Ent mu Jumal on mind kuulnud, ta on pannud tähele mu palvehäält.

²⁰Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his loving-kindness from me!

²⁰Tänu olgu Jumalale, kes ei ole heitnud kõrvale mu palvet ega ole mult ära võtnud oma heldust!
