1{A Song of degrees. Of David.} I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.
1[] <<Ωιδη των Αναβαθμων, του Δαβιδ.>> Ευφρανθην οτε μοι ειπον, Ας υπαγωμεν εις τον οικον του Κυριου·
2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
2Οι ποδες ημων θελουσιν ιστασθαι εν ταις πυλαις σου, Ιερουσαλημ·
3Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,
3Ιερουσαλημ, η ωκοδομημενη ως πολις συνηρμοσμενη ομου.
4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.
4Εκει αναβαινουσιν αι φυλαι, αι φυλαι του Κυριου, κατα το διατεταγμενον εις τον Ισραηλ, δια να δοξολογησωσι το ονομα του Κυριου.
5For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
5Διοτι εκει ετεθησαν θρονοι δια κρισιν, οι θρονοι του οικου του Δαβιδ.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
6[] Ζητειτε την ειρηνην της Ιερουσαλημ· ας ευτυχωσιν οι αγαπωντες σε.
7Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces.
7Ας ηναι ειρηνη εις τα τειχη σου, αφθονια εις τα παλατια σου.
8For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee!
8Ενεκεν των αδελφων μου και των πλησιον μου, θελω λεγει τωρα, Ειρηνη εις σε·
9Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.
9ενεκεν του οικου Κυριου του Θεου ημων, θελω ζητει το καλον σου.
