1And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
1ויצא הגורל השני לשמעון למטה בני שמעון למשפחותם ויהי נחלתם בתוך נחלת בני יהודה׃
2And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
2ויהי להם בנחלתם באר שבע ושבע ומולדה׃
3and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
3וחצר שועל ובלה ועצם׃
4and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
4ואלתולד ובתול וחרמה׃
5and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
5וצקלג ובית המרכבות וחצר סוסה׃
6and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;
6ובית לבאות ושרוחן ערים שלש עשרה וחצריהן׃
7Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;
7עין רמון ועתר ועשן ערים ארבע וחצריהן׃
8and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
8וכל החצרים אשר סביבות הערים האלה עד בעלת באר ראמת נגב זאת נחלת מטה בני שמעון למשפחתם׃
9Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.
9מחבל בני יהודה נחלת בני שמעון כי היה חלק בני יהודה רב מהם וינחלו בני שמעון בתוך נחלתם׃
10And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;
10ויעל הגורל השלישי לבני זבולן למשפחתם ויהי גבול נחלתם עד שריד׃
11and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;
11ועלה גבולם לימה ומרעלה ופגע בדבשת ופגע אל הנחל אשר על פני יקנעם׃
12and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;
12ושב משריד קדמה מזרח השמש על גבול כסלת תבר ויצא אל הדברת ועלה יפיע׃
13and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;
13ומשם עבר קדמה מזרחה גתה חפר עתה קצין ויצא רמון המתאר הנעה׃
14and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...
14ונסב אתו הגבול מצפון חנתן והיו תצאתיו גי יפתח אל׃
15and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.
15וקטת ונהלל ושמרון וידאלה ובית לחם ערים שתים עשרה וחצריהן׃
16This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
16זאת נחלת בני זבולן למשפחותם הערים האלה וחצריהן׃
17The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
17ליששכר יצא הגורל הרביעי לבני יששכר למשפחותם׃
18And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
18ויהי גבולם יזרעאלה והכסולת ושונם׃
19and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
19וחפרים ושיאן ואנחרת׃
20and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,
20והרבית וקשיון ואבץ׃
21and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
21ורמת ועין גנים ועין חדה ובית פצץ׃
22and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.
22ופגע הגבול בתבור ושחצומה ובית שמש והיו תצאות גבולם הירדן ערים שש עשרה וחצריהן׃
23This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
23זאת נחלת מטה בני יששכר למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן׃
24And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
24ויצא הגורל החמישי למטה בני אשר למשפחותם׃
25And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,
25ויהי גבולם חלקת וחלי ובטן ואכשף׃
26and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,
26ואלמלך ועמעד ומשאל ופגע בכרמל הימה ובשיחור לבנת׃
27and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
27ושב מזרח השמש בית דגן ופגע בזבלון ובגי יפתח אל צפונה בית העמק ונעיאל ויצא אל כבול משמאל׃
28and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;
28ועברן ורחב וחמון וקנה עד צידון רבה׃
29and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;
29ושב הגבול הרמה ועד עיר מבצר צר ושב הגבול חסה ויהיו תצאתיו הימה מחבל אכזיבה׃
30and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.
30ועמה ואפק ורחב ערים עשרים ושתים וחצריהן׃
31This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
31זאת נחלת מטה בני אשר למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן׃
32The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
32לבני נפתלי יצא הגורל הששי לבני נפתלי למשפחתם׃
33And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;
33ויהי גבולם מחלף מאלון בצעננים ואדמי הנקב ויבנאל עד לקום ויהי תצאתיו הירדן׃
34and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.
34ושב הגבול ימה אזנות תבור ויצא משם חוקקה ופגע בזבלון מנגב ובאשר פגע מים וביהודה הירדן מזרח השמש׃
35And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
35וערי מבצר הצדים צר וחמת רקת וכנרת׃
36and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
36ואדמה והרמה וחצור׃
37and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,
37וקדש ואדרעי ועין חצור׃
38and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.
38ויראון ומגדל אל חרם ובית ענת ובית שמש ערים תשע עשרה וחצריהן׃
39This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
39זאת נחלת מטה בני נפתלי למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן׃
40The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
40למטה בני דן למשפחתם יצא הגורל השביעי׃
41And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
41ויהי גבול נחלתם צרעה ואשתאול ועיר שמש׃
42and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,
42ושעלבין ואילון ויתלה׃
43and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,
43ואילון ותמנתה ועקרון׃
44and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
44ואלתקה וגבתון ובעלת׃
45and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,
45ויהד ובני ברק וגת רמון׃
46and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.
46ומי הירקון והרקון עם הגבול מול יפו׃
47And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
47ויצא גבול בני דן מהם ויעלו בני דן וילחמו עם לשם וילכדו אותה ויכו אותה לפי חרב וירשו אותה וישבו בה ויקראו ללשם דן כשם דן אביהם׃
48This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
48זאת נחלת מטה בני דן למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן׃
49And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.
49ויכלו לנחל את הארץ לגבולתיה ויתנו בני ישראל נחלה ליהושע בן נון בתוכם׃
50According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.
50על פי יהוה נתנו לו את העיר אשר שאל את תמנת סרח בהר אפרים ויבנה את העיר וישב בה׃
51These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
51אלה הנחלת אשר נחלו אלעזר הכהן ויהושע בן נון וראשי האבות למטות בני ישראל בגורל בשלה לפני יהוה פתח אהל מועד ויכלו מחלק את הארץ׃
